Comfortable helps with my foot pain

I have been suffering near-debilitating-at-times plantar fasciitis for about the past 9-12 months. Nothing I did seemed to help in any meaningful way. I saw these footbeds advertised on Facebook and out of pure desperation thought "Why not". They arrived quickly, in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging. Within a day of wearing these in my running shoes, my foot felt better. Not cured, but better than it had felt in ages. Now, a month later, I can honestly say that I feel like my plantar fasciitis is almost cured. I still have some pain, but it has gone from what I'd rate as a 9/10 to a 1-2/10, and the pain is far less frequent as well. The telltale morning pain on stepping out of bed has almost even been alleviated! These footbeds are absolute miracles. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Breathable Footbed

I have used the performance Footbed and decided to grab another pair for my other shoes. These are definitely much more breathable than the other model which is great for summer but the others are much better for winter. Excellent footbeds

I’ve been using these for nearly 20 years now. I’ll only buy shoes that will accommodate them. They’ve relieved pain not just in my feet but knees and back too. You may need to get used to them if you’re not accustomed to actual foot support, but once you do it’s sooooooo worth it! I recommend them to anyone!

The Best and at a Low Price

I have been experiencing foot pain for about a year and eventually went to The Good Feet Store. For $400 they gave me arch supports which really never solves my problem. BTW thy have. No return policy. For 1/8 the price, my SOLE sandals are incredibly comfortable, and my foot pain is gone.

Only footbeds I get!

I have flat feet and will get pain in foot/ankle or shin splints with support. I have these in every single pair of my shoes and they really make a difference. I can especially notice when I walk around bare foot too long. I wish there were sandal options with this exact support!

I've been using the thicker footbeds for well over a decade. Was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis back in 2002. Wear them in every shoe I own. But had my daughter's wedding coming up and using the thicker ones in the fancy dress shoes they got me made my foot feel very cramped. The answer to my foot problems

These have really helped with my foot pains. Years ago I broke a metatarsal, and these have made the discomfort and pain from that really disappear. Also, I have relatively flat arches. I chose the medium arch to help out. It felt unusual at first, but after 4-5 days it felt completely natural. Now I can't imagine not having these. Great product.

Very happy with the results

This is the second pair of "active thins with met pad" I bought. I found them to be extremely comfortable and have helped deal with my foot pain during exercises. I bought the thins because of the existing running shoes I have (i.e., not a lot of room). They fit well. Though I thought the break-in period might take a while, I found them to have shaped my feet within a few days of walking and running (after about 10-12 hours of activity).

Really helps with metatarsal pain

I have tried lots of orthotics including the Thick with metatarsal pads from SOLE as well as other brands. These work best for me for preventing foot pain. With the thick orthotics the metatarsal pad is too rigid and hurts my feet. I have bone on bone in the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal joint of each foot due to osteoarthritis and these pads in my rigid vibram-sole hiking boots and Hoka bondi tennis shoes have allowed me to keep walking and hiking. Some reviews say they wear out but I used to have custom orthotics and at the price of the SOLE Medium Performance with met pad inserts I can replace 2 pairs 4 times for the price of custom orthotics. Some may need custom orthotics but these work well for me. My hiking boots are Size 8 and my Hokas are 7.5. These SOLE inserts fit both really well and the heel cup is deep enough that my heel doesn't slide.

Finally found insoles that work for me.

I have tried dozens of different footbeds over the years. Trying to ease my foot pain from working on old, hard concrete hangar floors. I have stacks of ones that I have tried and did not work. SOLE footbeds are the only ones that have helped. They have deep heel cups to keep my foot stable while walking carrying a heavy tool bag. The arch is just right. Many of the high priced ones have too extreme of an arch. The bottom layer is firm, and keeps your foot from squishing around in your shoe, like some of the overly cushioned ones. They have just the right amount of cushion. Also, they are not overly tall at the heel. I need this. Because of the damage to the nerves in the balls of my feet. I cannot have the forward rake. It causes too much pain. I need as neutral a platform as possible. The material layer that your foot sits on is extremely tough! It has held up to very demanding work conditions that include a lot of walking and an active work environment. I am completely sold on SOLE footbeds. Also, they are more reasonably priced than many of the ones that i have tried and did not work for me. Plus, they give you discounts once you become a customer. I wish I would have had them years ago! It would possibly helped keep my foot pain from getting worse as time went on, and would have saved me a lot of money wasted on footbeds that did not work. Thank you!! ............ Also, the thick ones are good if you have a little extra room in your shoes. The mediums are good as a direct replacement in shoes that fit just right. ...... My search for good insoles has come to an end!!!

Finally! A flip that gives me metatarsal as well as arch support for metatarsalgia. From the first time I put them on I could walk around in them with no foot pain. Saved my feet!!

I started having pain from Plantar Fasciitis about 6 months ago. I paid $500 for custom orthotics. After 3 months of constant pain and going back to the foot doctor after my ankles were hurting. I came across SOLE online. I figured I had nothing to lose!! I wear safety shoes 8-10hrs on concrete flooring. I felt immediate relief. AMAZING product saved my feet

I am very flat footed. Add to that I had MAJOR ankle surgery on my right ankle (all 3 sides opened up, bone removed, ligaments cut and re aligned, screws in heel area) so it’s safe to say I have daily foot pain. After working all day my foot is stiff and sore like a peg leg. For an active person like myself it wasn’t good. Tried all kinds of creams, pain killers, even other inserts and orthotics…. SOLE has been with me for more than a decade

I first began using SOLE as a foot support in my running shoes when I saw that ultra-endurance athlete Dean Karnazes had a signature footbed and endorsed them. I've utilized them inside my daily work boots for healthy foot support in recent years.... if you have lower extremity foot or joint pain this could be your ticket (without a podiatrist). I must emphasize, I only use the rubber bottom footbeds (the cork/biodegradable bottoms just fall apart too quickly). I've used them in military fitness wear. I once wore a pair during a grueling SF selection course.... which included a 25 mile trek with 45lbs pack for time. Along with multiple other long mileage ruck distances. These footbeds held up in flawless fashion, supporting my movement, and overall training health in noticeable ways over the rest of my class. If you are on your feet regularly occupationally, many times we forget about the critical nature of ensuring foot support is renewed and effective physiologically. I have metatarsalgia, and many of my shoes were becoming too painful to wear. The pain was so persistent that it became difficult to live an active lifestyle. After a quick self-evaluation on the SOLE website, I found the appropriate insert for me. Sole Performance insole

My recent purchase is for my wife as she was complaining about having foot pain and discomfort on her plantar fascia because of being on her feet, working for 12 hours. As soon as we put the SOLE Performance insole on her working shoes, the first week, she already noticed a big difference. From scale of pain of 10, to 5. She continues using the SOLE insole and it has been about a month now and the pain and discomfort is about 2-3. This insole is a great product, I like that it is heat moldable to customize to the contour of your feet. I myself is using this product in my cycling shoes. I highly recommend this product and thank you for developing a product that serves the purpose and works good 😊

Excellent Support

I have a lot of foot pain, probably the result of 40+ years of jobs standing all day on hard floors, running, trail running, and playing soccer. Gave up running and soccer a few years ago. I put these in my cycling shoes. They provide excellent support, pain reduction, and my feet no longer cramp while cycling (which was a nuisance). I have a custom orthotic from a podiatrist. The SOLE insoles provide a similar amount of support at a fraction of the price. They are not quite as comfortable as the custom insoles, but the comfort definitely improves as they mold to your feet. .

I've been wearing SOLE footbeds for years and years! I think these Active Thin with Met Pads are my favorite, but it depends on your shoes and what you are looking for. The video SOLE provides that explains the differences between the various footbeds is very helpful. I have chronic foot pain and these are great.

THEY HAVE KEPT ME ON MY FEET

Around 25 years ago I developed a foot problem that made walking painful. A podiatrist made some hard plastic orthotics that helped a lot and a few years later I could get by without them. Then my wife gave me a pair of SOLE footbeds and I've been using them every day since. I have them in all my shoes and my foot pain, caused by a malformed bone has not returned. I often go on 5-mile hikes by the way, without difficulty.

Custom Orthotics Step Aside

I was experiencing heel and other pain in my right foot. I am assuming this was caused by wearing my custom orthotics well beyond their expiry. They cost about $400 each. My Physiotherapist suggested SOLE, before considering getting fitted for custom orthotics. My pain is almost completely gone. They feel great each and every time I put them on. I don't know how long they will last (it has been about a month now), but they are a fraction of the cost of customs. I couldn't be happier with them.

Fantastic footbeds

I purchased these for my skates. I have tried at least 5 types including custom footbeds, Superfeet, Dr. Scholls and Bauer heat molded speed plates. Given that the SOLE footbeds have all the foot relief remedies built into the sole, topped with the pad for comfort makes these the best yet for my skates. The pain I used to suffer starting half way through my ice times is gone! Now I can skate for hours.

SOLE inserts make my workday less painful

I discovered SOLE Active Medium inserts about 15 years ago in the outpatient pharmacy of the hospital I use worked at. I was desperate for foot relief and by the time I started using the SOLE brand I wasn't so sure if I could continue to work the 12 hour shifts that I was assigned. At first I kept replacing my shoes and that did not work, then tried some inserts from nationwide retailers and I still pretty severe foot pain at the end of each work shift. One day In was in the hospital outpatient pharmacy and noticed the SOLE inserts and I also noticed what to at the time seemed to be premium prices for shoe inserts at $42 a pair. The pharmacy staff didn't know much about the SOLE brand ,but when I read the package product description and noticed the way the inserts were nicely packaged, I figured that the company must stand behind their inserts and truly believe in it seeing how they invested in the packaging also. I guessed right and it was night and day from the very first day I started wearing these . I trim them to the same size as the inserts I pulled from the new shoes and use my daily walking to mold them to my feet. Game changer

I have very high arches and am very active in the outdoors. Hiking and snowshoeing are my regular activities. A few years ago I was struggling and unable to do any walking activities without extreme pain until a foot specialist told me about SOLE inserts. I am back to my regular activities.

I thought I was going to need orthotics :(

A sudden & very painful onset of metatarsal-area pain prompted me to look for a solution...even if just a temporary one. I bought two different (and less expensive) metatarsal foot pain relief products and both failed miserably. The SOLE Met Pad footbed provided instant relief...but more importantly, lasting relief. It hasn't eliminated my problem - obviously I have a structural issue that needs to be addressed, but when I'm wearing shoes with the SOLE insole inside, the pain instantly drops by about 50% and once I start walking, after about 50-100 steps, the pain drops another 25-40%. Sometimes it goes away completely. On a related note, if you are a DIY kind of person, I have also started the first set of exercises in the book - The Foot Fix: 4 Weeks to Healthier, Happier Feet by Yamuna Zake - and they have made a big difference too. But first, buy a couple of pairs of SOLE insoles...I have recommended them to two friends already :)

Near instant relief of foot pain

I have been wearing this product in my hiking boots for about five weeks. The “home baked” heat molding process was easy and shaped the insert for a custom fit to my foot and my boot. The wool liner provides warmth in the extreme cold that I hike in. Excellent product. Best footbed I’ve ever worn

Been suffering from plantar fasciitis and other foot pains to the point where I would call in at work because I wasn’t able to walk and my foot would be swollen. I decided to finally give this footbed a try. I’m in steel toes and on my feet all day. I’ve been using SOLE footbeds for years, in my hiking boots and in my everyday walking shoes. They've helped my high arch problems and have provided excellent support resulting in more comfort and fewer foot pain. I’m hard on my shoes and put a lot of miles on them every month. SOLE footbeds are my go-to footbeds, and have performed better than my custom made ones for way less money. And they last a long time.

Help with plantar fasciitis

I’ve been wearing these for a few weeks. Last year I had plantar fasciitis in one foot and it took a long time to resolve. When the pain started in my other foot I ordered these. I follow Philip Carcia on Instagram and he had recommended them. I figured if a guy hiking all those miles liked them then they would be worth a try! I still need to do a lot of stretching to help with the pain but I find these help - they are very comfortable and feel good in my feet. I wear them in all my shoes (running, hiking, and casual wear). They fit great.

I am very athletic and have a very high arch, along with plantar fasciitis and rheumatoid arthritis. These footbeds provide firm support where needed. Haven't had any pain or cramping since I started using them. Highly recommend to anyone with foot pain to try these.

Real quality, unique design, subpar durability?

These were purchased to help with plantar fasciitis pain and right when I received them I knew they were different from any other insole I'd used before. These insoles have very prominent sections of padding that provide support to portions of your foot that would only be barely touched by most other mainstream insoles, especially along the arch and ball of foot. The design of these is very appealing and unique, and the cork material is very satisfying to the eyes and feet! I would definitely recommend these to people looking for more comfort or dealing with pain, as these really helped me. The only issue I have is that after about a week or two, the heel portion, which was initially nicely padded, of the insole compressed down to almost flat, leaving the heel mostly unprotected from impact. The cork material might contribute to this but I also tend to put extreme pressure on my heels. I got these on clearance but next time I'd go for the Active models as they're said to be more durable. But if you have even pressure distribution, definitely check these out!

My Only Flip

I have been wearing Balboa since fall of 2021 when I was searching for relief for my painful feet. I have multiple things going on - hallux rigidus, Morton's foot, high arch, hyperflexible foot and nerve entrapment. These flips allow me to walk around when I first get up without pain.....without excruciating pain. Goldilocks Flip Flop

I have tried a least a dozen other flip flips/sport sandals to find some that didn’t cause pain to my back and legs after walking and standing. This was it! I have had lumbar surgeries and my back, legs and moderately arched foot are just cranky with the wrong support. I’ve sworn loyalty to SOLE inserts in my athletic shoes for years and don’t know why it took me so long to realize they also made flip flops. I put this on and it was perfection right away - not too hard, not too soft, arch placement was supportive but not aggressive and the straps were soft yet keep the shoe right in place. I have since purchased the Baja (slightly harder sole, very stable) and Monterey cork (firmer yet) but the Catalina is my favorite for putting on in the morning and wearing all day.

Comfortable, supportive and light weight!

Having had lots of foot issues, (plantar fasciitis mostly), flip flops are not generally a good match for my feet. Most of them on the market have no support in the food bed. However, SOLE flip flops offer a comfortable, supportive foot bed that allows my feet to do their job without any pain or issues. They are very lightweight and comfortable to walk in. The straps don't give me blisters either. To make them perfect for me, they would have a more durable outsole on them, however, I guess that might take away from their light weight.

I have been wearing the medium performance insoles for several years now. I am on my feet about 14 hours a day at work and walk about 12 to 18,000 steps on an average work day carrying tons of weight. These are the best insoles I have ever owned I now have them in my tennis shoes too. They last a long time and don't seem to get worn out very quickly like other shoe insoles. This insole with met pad has saved my feet when wearing my Rykas. They are in my exercise shoes, and while I no longer jump as high or run, my feet are supported and without pain. The met pad has been the key. All my shoes, whether for exercising, walking or just everyday wear have Soles. Soooo much better than what I got from the foot doctor!

I bought these last fall as I was working my way out of a bad nerve entrapment issue causing pain in my heel that stopped me from walking, SOLE insoles have been very important and time on these Balboa Flips is essential, especially first thing in the morning. I have a high arch. Straighten Up Those Ankles

My new Asolo walking shoes almost fit my very narrow feet. But when I realized that my ankles and feet were rotating inward, I tried some SOLE Active Medium footbeds. But they were too thick. So I ordered a pair of SOLE Active Thin footbeds. The heat fit formed these to my feet, but kept the arch high. My ankles and feet are straight again, and my shoes fit so much better. I've walked many miles in them over the last six weeks both over rough terrain and on concrete paths with no foot pain. If these Thin footbeds are as tough as their thicker siblings (and I think they are), they should last for years.

These Really Work

I had the painful condition of PTTD (acquired fallen arches). I needed very major and specific support for my feet. I had heard about this product on a podiatry blog and decided to try it. I followed the instructions on heat molding, creating the future shape that my foot required to return to functioning. I could feel the relief on the very first walk with them. I showed them to my podiatrist, who gave her full approval to the shaping. They are lightweight, cushy, yet offer amazing support. I bought several more pairs to have them in all my shoes. If you need more support than you get from standard inserts, these are for you. If you need a custom made orthotic, you may want to try these first. They really work. Now several months later, my foot is no longer painful and I am back to running - shorter distances this time. Very satisfied customer.

I've now tried 3 insoles and my preferred is Active Thick without Met pad. Better to order the larger size and it's easy to trim it down to fit perfectly. Relieves foot pain for outdoor work boots.

Fantastic Relief and Comfort

I am an older retired male who hikes almost daily in the local hills and mountains near Vancouver, BC. I was finding the one foot in particular was becoming progressively more painful and required icing after my hikes. It was getting to the point where I was starting to wonder if my hiking and backpacking days were coming to an end. I can't say enough about the SOLE Active Thick insert with the built in met pad. Flippy Floppies

I have been searching for a while for a flip flop with good arch support. For years I’ve dealt with foot and knee pain from having flat flip flops. I was excited to come across these when I bought insoles. These are comfortable to wear, my feet don’t slip around when wet and they have good traction on wet ground. The only setback would be the hard plastic piece that goes between your toes, that might be more comfortable if it was fabric. But it was only the start of the season and my callous hadn’t formed yet. I would definitely buy these again. Thanks

Huge difference

I have been wearing SOLE for years. My doctor recommended them for me because I was having a lot of pain in my foot (arches). When it came time to replace my old pair I was able to purchase them online. Which was much easier than trying to get an appt at the doctors office lately.

Exponential Improvement

I can't believe how much difference these Active Thins w Met pad have made. Huge improvement in hip pain. History of injuries, twice broken right heel, never did knit back together properly, the arch dropped and basically the whole foot changed shape and function, been awful. Affected the entire right leg. The SOLE insert is the only one since 2007 that's given me any relief and stabilized my foot. It allows me to have a normal heel to toe roll on the bad foot. Used the size chart to order correct size women 10 and fit is perfect .

Pain Free

Sometimes a product comes along that just changes the way you view a product. I have tried many different shoe inserts to help with pain in my feet and I have never found anything that totally stops pain in my feet the way that the SOLE inserts do. These inserts made me wonder if I was in my 20s again. If you have ever had foot problems and need to feel pain free from your shoes I would encourage anyone to give these inserts a try. I have numerous issues with my feet. Ball of the foot pain, heel pain and bad arches. I had tried many different products in the past with very limited results. Then I discovered the SOLE products. Made a difference

Had weight bearing episodic pain in ball of foot in proximal third metatarsal joint. The Thick met pad Sole reduced the pain when used with a wide toe box shoe. Can't notice a difference from heat shaping the pad as instructed.

I’ve been using these since April 2, 2022 and find the sandals are comfortable to use despite bunions on my feet. These wear-moldable, water-friendly sandals made of Bloom Algae Foam makes it light and the surface feels good on the feet. Finally, relief from foot pain!

I am one of the numerous sufferers of peripheral neuropathy. For years I have endured foot pain that has taken me from an active runner to rarely going for walks because of constant foot pain. I prefer to stay clear of the pharmaceutical pain relief strategy, and decided to try a set of SOLE footbeds. Not sure which product to purchase, I used the SOLE Product Guide to determine which product was best for my condition. Sure enough, the Active Medium with Met Pad was suggested. I purchased the product and it was delivered to my home in just a few days. Following instructions on how to form the footbed to my foot shape, I set the footbeds in the oven at low temperature for a few minutes. Next, I placed each footbed into a pair of my shoes, put the shoes on and waited for the material to conform to my personal foot shape. Skip forward two months, and I can say that after years of foot pain, I am much relieved. Not only can I now go back to long pain free walks, but I have more energy, because I am not in constant pain. These soles are great. The Actives with Metpads easily transfer from one pair of shoes into another. Now that I am satisfied with how well they work, I plan to order another pair for my runners. Relief is a great thing!

I use these insoles in all my shoes: runners, boots, dress shoes because since I've been using them for at least 4 years, my Nortons neuroma has not bothered me. Metatarsal pads in your shoe inserts and removable metatarsal pads can also offload the ball of your foot where you are having pain. They are comfortable & I use a variety of thicknesses depending on the shoe and activity.

I have been wearing these in ALL my shoes for 5 years. I have 6 pair that stay in each set of shoes. Dress shoes, hunting and fishing boots and cross training shoes. These SOLE inserts have saved me from years of aggravated foot pain. They fit my foot and shoe size perfectly. They are comfortable - I have had custom made inserts from other companies, made for much more money (thousands $$), and they didn't work and they weren't comfortable or durable. Comfortable insoles

This review is on the "Performance Wide Thick" I also bought the Active ones, but I haven't used them yet. I suffer from lower back pain (sciatica). This pain hit me pretty hard. I see doctors about my lower back. That's all they are focused on: my lower back. I started to think about my childhood and how I needed arch support in my shoes. Knowing general construction and basic biology, a improper foundation leads to a poor construction relying on that foundation. I started looking at arch support inserts. Most are just a heel cup with a partial sole. The ones that were a full footbed were gel or memory foam as padding. Gel leave your foot in it's own sweat. That creates foot rot. Foam collects the sweat and grows bacteria. I came across a "SOLE" ad online. It caught my interest. I started to read these reviews on most of the different styles to order from. I did the fitting questionnaire to find what I might be looking for. I ordered both that came up being that they have the return policy also they are both different materials. When I received them I looked at both and felt the cork ones would be more cushion. I work on my feet 6-8 hours straight per shift. I heated the cork ones in the over per instructions and I haven't looked back. It's been a couple months now and from day one of wearing them my back pain has subsided. I still need surgery on my back, but I believe with these "SOLE" inserts I'll have a better foundation to help strengthen my frame during healing. Yes I would recommend these inserts to those looking for comfort and support. Also those looking for lower back pain relief. I wear a whole size in shoes so I just order that size of inserts. They fit my shoe like it belongs. Nice bed for my foot to sit on. The cork is very comfortable they seem to form to your foot and hold it in your shoe.

Great for snowboard boots

I bought these specifically for my snowboard boots after my old foot beds were making my feet hurt incredibly bad. My issue with the old foot beds was lack of arch support, despite buying ones that matched my arch perfectly. However, when I snowboarded the beds would push down and provide zero support. That's when I did some research and found out about SOLE, and bought a pair online. They took a little getting used to but I could immediately tell that my issue with arch support was gone. All about the forefoot

From a tiny functional foot clinic serving Yukon Territory and northern BC, SOLE Active Medium is the only insole recommended. Recently purchased 5 pairs to have on hand for clients. Bonus dollars will directly benefit remote harder to reach clients. :) I no longer wear the product - which is a good thing b/c my foot, with the assistance of SOLE, is now barefoot. I'm a martial artist, training and teaching karate and I'm an acupuncturist in private practice. Solved my foot pain

I’ve been using SOLE footbeds for a few years now for pain related to over-pronation. Recently I began to have pain on the ball of my right foot. Life-changing insoles

I've always had a problem with foot pain wearing shoes, ever since I was young; I just thought it was normal to have aching feet after spending a day in shoes. Sneakers, flip-flops, dress shoes, boots, it didn't matter; everything hurt. Extremely Helpful!

I had been dealing with foot pain for quite some time and tried a few products but the problem was never truly resolved. Then I heard about SOLE from the Darkhorse podcast and I have faith in their endorsements so I went for it! It was a great call. I have been using the footbeds for several weeks now and the results are very noticeable. The foot pain is basically gone and I'm on my feet for hours at a time. With in a week he could go to practice without foot pain afterwards. We are getting ready to order him more for his other shoes!!!! He wears a size 8 basketball shor and the size 8 insoles fit perfectly with out trimming. They do not slide around and he has zero complaints!!!! Trust me.....we have tried them all and these are the only ones to help him.

Pain relief at an affordable price

It was a foot doctor who told me I had flat feet and the same doctor that told me about SOLE footbeds. I was looking at cortisone injections for bursitis in my left hip and within 2 weeks of wearing the inserts, all the pain went away! When I stopped wearing them the pain came back. I started wearing them again and the pain went away. Why I stopped it beyond me, and I cannot live without these! I also used to switch them between shoes but it doesn't always work as they mold to the shape of not only the foot but the shoe as well. Awesome insoles!

This was my first purchase of SOLE insoles. I heard about this company by doing a Google search for ski boot insoles for metatarsal foot pain. I've been suffering from foot pain in the balls of my feet for a number of years and my ski boots exacerbate the pain. I've tried other insoles in my boots which has helped a bit, but I still experience some pain after a day of skiing. I purchased these insoles prior to this year's ski season and so far, they have helped tremendously! I just returned from a 4-day ski vacation, which normally would cause a lot of foot pain, and I was so impressed with how comfortable these insoles are in my ski boots and that I was able to ski for multiple days in a row with hardly any discomfort. I plan on purchasing another pair of insoles for my street shoes as even regular shoes cause discomfort when walking.

Solved some issues

Have been wearing these for several months and has resolved some Met pain issues in my foot. Comfortable and fit well in hiking boots that I have with almost no trimming and adjustment. Would like to see different Met levels. Could use a bit more Met padding for me personally. All in all, a good investment for foot comfort.

Comfortable and supportive

I bought the Men's District by ReCORK for my grandson who requires orthotics due to extra-wide, flat feet. He absolutely loves the shoes. He doesn't have to have any additional support structures with the built-in footbeds. The contemporary style gives him the opportunity to have support without the obvious "orthotic shoe" look. I recently visited the podiatrist 3 weeks in a row for a pain in my left foot right at the heel. They tried inserts, shots, wraps helped a little. Best I've found hands down.

I've been wearing these for a month or two now in my work boots, and a pair in my big rubber boots. I'm size 15 almost 16 and these are one of the few arch supports I can wear that actually fits my foot size. These last about a year or so with constant daily usage around the farm. Much easier to get used to than the hard inserts, and I have no arch pain since I started using them years ago when they were made for Redwing. I can't live without them. Does take about two weeks to get your arches used to some real support though, and if your arches are shot, wear them for an hour a day for the first week. Once I got used to them, my arch pain stopped and my knee pain got significantly better.

Red Sole inserts

I have used SOLE products for about 4 years . They were recommended by a foot doctor. I usually purchase the black SOLE inserts. The shop where I purchased them closed so I used the online site and did the online help for selection . It recommended the red SOLE Inserts because I have pain in the ball of my foot and need arch support. I've been wearing the red inserts for about 2 weeks and they do help with arch support and metatarsal pain. Since I do most of my walking in my neighborhood sidewalks & streets, sometimes I wish I had the added cushioning of the black inserts.

First Time Buyer

I was recommended this brand by my podiatrist. Bought these (my first insole purchase from any company) for the first time, put them in my hikers, and instantly foot pain receded. Every day there was less and less foot pain. until I have not had any problems now for months. I will be a lifetime user for sure!

Better than the old plastic soles!

I was a long time user of SOLE inserts for correction of over pronation associated with flat feet. They have made a huge difference for me as far as foot pain and allowed me to walk and jog comfortably for years. I was so excited to discover the they now have a recycled cork product - it's such a great model to have people return their wine corks to stores for re-use. I find that the new ReCORK soles feel springier and more comfortable that the old soles that I relied upon. I have been using them in my Saucony running shoes for 2 months now and they feel great. I wear size 8 1/2 or 39 shoes and found that the size 7/9 insert fit perfectly without trimming. I hope that more companies will follow this model of using recycled materials to create an excellent product.

Out on walks again

My husband has had foot pain for about 2 years now and it just stopped us from going on our walks. Although he still has some pain, the Active Medium soles have allowed him to get back to walking. He has a pair in both of his shoes and will definitely get more as needed. These slipped into his shoes perfectly after the heat up. After standing in them for the few minutes required to form he knew right away these were going to work. Comfortable enough he could wear them all day. No issues of any kind

Great Insoles

I had a foot issue and was awaiting an appointment to get an orthotic made. Since the pain was increasing and I had an upcoming backpack trip, I needed something for the interim period that might alleviate this pain when hiking. I took a chance on some SOLE Active Medium inserts and couldn't be more pleased. When I showed them to my Podiatrist, she was very impressed and told me to continue using them until the orthotics were made. Well, eventually the orthotics arrived, felt extremely uncomfortable, had to be modified several times, and eventually were abandoned. I have since bought 5 pairs of SOLE insoles over the past year and couldn't be happier. They have eliminated my foot pain, are super comfortable, and are very affordable when compared to custom orthotics.

Purchased these insoles (size 11 U.S. fit is exact), because my $200 pair of Asics AWL size 11 US, were causing extreme pain to my Achilles tendon. I needed a winter shoe and although the shoe fit great at the store when I purchased them, they certainly didn't after the first 10km. I was forced to go up a half size with my shoes because my right toe was feeling cramped. Decided to purchase both the Active Medium and Thick, because I wasn't sure which would be enough to fill in the extra room in my shoe and possibly elevate my foot to keep the back of the shoe from touching the upper rear portion of my foot. Ran 100 km in the Active Medium and my feet started to feel great after the first 20km, almost instantly (I didn't heat fit them to my feet). After 100km, I decide to try the Active Thick and they filled the extra space in the shoe that was needed and elevated my foot ever so slightly. First impression was a full shoe and feeling like I was 1 inch taller. At first, when I put in either insole, they felt lumpy. After about 20km, they tend to mold to your feet and feel very natural. You can, of course, heat treat them to fit, but I wasn't sure I was going to keep them, so I decided to try them, out of the package. I do get Achilles pain once in a while, but this is probably due to my running technique and not the insoles. I use my Active Medium Soles in my summer runners (Mizuno Wave Sky Waveknit 3 in size 10.5 U.S.), which fit me perfect before inserting the Soles and fit snug after installing. 450km now and still great. I'm sure my shoes will wear out before these Soles will; they will be going in my next pair of Asics AWLs. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Initially I found them to be expensive, now not so much because they work.

Returning to the ice after COVID, I was suddenly dealing with constant foot pain every time I put my skates on and I tried different things. I’ve been using Medium SOLE inserts in my field hockey turf boots for about 10 years and started wearing a pair in my everyday shoes about two years ago. I decided to try out the Thin, hoping they would fit comfortably in my goalie skates. With the added foot pain in the sole and forefoot, I also tried the met pad for the first time which only took a little getting used to. The Thin soles fit just fine in my skates and have definitely helped the foot pain. I do remove them after every ice time so the skates dry properly and the rivets don’t rust, which is the only issue as it’s a tight fit around the heel and arch, so it can be a little hard to remove them. I worry a bit that the friction will speed up the wear on the skate liner and/or the insole. I’m trying to figure out an easier way to pull it out with a tab or something, but the pros definitely out way that one con.

Great addition to cycling shoes

Put these in my Sidi road shoes. Thin enough to fit well, and a huge improvement in arch support over the stock units. Had to buy a larger size to ensure the arch support fell in the correct spot on my foot, which necessitated a fair bit of trimming to have them fit my shoes. Luckily I could try them on in a local shop, otherwise that trial and error would have been a pain. They’ve been brilliant ever since. Improved stability, power transfer, and no more hot spots or numb toes on longer rides.

Aussie boots fixed

I had recently replaced my 'Australian' work boots and found them to be painfully uncomfortable compared with my old pair. Assuming that they just needed to be broken in, I bore with it for months. I'd hoped my 12h+ work shifts would break them in and back to the feeling of my old pair. Didn't happen. Nor did trying the old footbeds from my previous boots. I ordered the SOLE footbeds with the most cushioning and the met pad. Had a moment of regret thinking the met pad would be a mistake but a rep coached me to keep the order as is. Essentially the SOLE footbeds have fixed the misery caused by my work boots. I no longer have foot and hip pain from my long shifts. It's been maybe a month now and I'm loving them. Only slight issue is that now my feet are a bit snug against the uppers. A quick tap at the heel moves my toes off the steel toe cap and it's fine. These footbeds have taken away my workboot pains.

As someone who occasionally suffered from foot pain, I needed a more sustainable solution than prescription orthotics that need routine replacement at a very high price. Fixed my feet

I was a little skeptical for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. My arches were collapsed from years of flat insoles, so my feet were pretty sore the first couple times I used these. But after a week or so, the pain went away and my feet straightened out. I now can walk and stand for hours without foot pain.

I have a very high arches, arthritis in my feet and a tendency to get plantar fasciitis. I have to wear innersoles in my shoes all the time. I have used SOLE for years. They give me the best support and prevent any foot pain. Grateful.

Great Insole

I have been using inserts for decades. I have low arches. I have tried MANY different products including $500 custom orthotics. I am also a runner. 20-25 miles per week. Expensive customs wear out. Not unlike any other. It can become a money drain. Off the shelf insoles from various suppliers are very generic. Too spongy, not light weight, not enough arch support and wear out quickly. A friend passed along to me a recommendation from his podiatrist. "SOLE" insoles. I looked over a lot of info from the SOLE website as well as from other sources and decided to try the SOLE Active Medium. SOLE provides a wide variety of insoles, as well as other products, to suit MANY different needs and foot and body designs. This alone separates SOLE from other offerings. It is also very obvious that they have done their due diligence on R&D and have included some very smart and experienced people into the works to develop products for a wide dynamic of people and purposes. I have low arches and a knee that has had cartilage repair and a torn stretched to useless ACL. (Skiing injuries from my youth). The soles obviously won't repair these things but provide support and alignment that allow me to run comfortably and vigorously without pain. I bought my first pair, used them for about 2 months and then bought another pair. All total I have been on them for about 5 months now. I also played Hockey for decades. Skate providers went away from traditional leather outer shells quite a few years ago and adopted moldable outer shells. You warm up the skate in an oven, quickly put them on, lace them up tight and the skate adopts the shape of your foot. Providing a very custom fit. It took a minute but once I got used to them I fell in love with the technology. The EVA base in the Active Mediums is very much similar. I did not put them in the oven I just put them in my shoe and wore them to shape. It took running on them about 10 times until they formed to fit. This wear in period was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning but since then they have been awesome... Now they fit great and are beyond comfortable. They are super supportive, lightweight, and I can trust them to be perfectly in place with every stride. I love the product, I love the price point. Customer service has been excellent. I am absolutely a SOLE customer for life. You might think that I am just a shill for SOLE who is being somehow compensated. I assure you that I am NOT. I'm a very satisfied customer who is simply illustrating my experience with their product. This is a product that I truly need and very much appreciate. I am 61 years old. A life long athlete. Great support

I have very high arches, narrow feet and plantar fasciitis. I gave been told I am high risk for collapsed arches, told that's very painful, and have been going to physiotherapy for foot and related knee pain. Custom orthotics were quoted at $300 with Insurance only covering maximum 50%. I thought I'd give these a try first! I did not heat fit them as I was worried about getting it right, instead choosing to fit them by wearing. First few days were an eye opener, my toes clenched and I was uncomfortable wearing them for long periods if time. 2-3 hours at once was enough. I am on my feet, running after kids all day at work so I needed more support than drugstore insoles. After wearing them for a week my feet felt so much better at the end of the day! I really needed the extra arch support and my feet have relaxed, no more toe clenching! I will be getting another set for my ski boots and anticipate a much more comfortable downhill ski season this year. 100% would recommend trying these before getting expensive orthotics if you have high arches.

Made a huge difference

I had tried every non surgical / non drug solution for my planter fasciitis without success. I tried SOLE fully expecting it to not to make much of a difference but I was surprised. Game changer

I have genetic flat feet. I'm 44, and have lived the "strenuous life." Very active - hiker, power lifter, stone mason, former Marine. Over the last 4 years I've developed pttd, and over the last 5 months it's gotten very painful. As someone who can usually physically do whatever I want, having to avoid simple things like stairs has been very difficult physically and mentally. I have tried lace up ankle wrap braces, custom rigid orthotics that cost 1000.00 dollars, special shoes, and been religious about foot strengthening- they all sort of work, but there's always some pain. I have routinely been told "otc" orthotics aren't effective. Regardless on a whim I bought a pair of SOLE insoles, and after I put them in my gym shoes -INSTANTLY - the pain went away almost completely. I bought a second pair for my Danner hiking/work boots, with the same result. I can't wrap my brain around how there can be such an immediate dramatic change, but running up and down my stairs without a second thought or wincing in pain is absolutely amazing. I haven't worn them long, but they seem durable. I hope they hold up, though for this level of regained mobility, I'd buy a new pair every month if I had to. My hope is, as they are clearly relieving the strain on my tibial tendon and over pronation, over time with continued wear and foot strengthening I can reverse some of the damage done.

Best slippers

I have previously used Superfeet, and custom orthotics. I tried SOLE, and found that they are as good or better than even the customs. As I am into my 50's, my arches have fallen, and my feet hurt. Occasional bouts of plantar fasciitis also cause me grief. I have put SOLEs in most of my shoes/boots. Depending on the fit of the boot, I have used thin to thick SOLEs with great success, and even improved fit. I also bought "slippers", the SOLE flip flops that I wear in the house as much as I can remember to. These made a huge difference in my foot pain, or lack of. Highly recommend to ease your foot pain.

Great footbed

Great inserts! I have been wearing them now for a month or more. My hard orthotics were uncomfortable. I wasn't able to stand for long periods, which my job requires. My feet were always tired and sore at the end of the day. These are very comfortable and my chronic foot pain has diminished significantly. It's like wearing the right shoe with the right amount arch support. They fit perfectly into any shoe. My old orthotics were very wide and stuck out from my instep stretching the shoe. These basically replace the shoe's original foot bed. I wear a 9.5 shoe and bought a size 9. i will be buying another pair for my hiking shoes but will get a size 10. I can feel the end of the insert in my sneakers. It doesn't bother me or cause any pain but I will get a size bigger and trim if need be. Price is right too considering the price of hard orthotics.

The best insoles available

These are the best insoles available anywhere. I started out using the SOLE DK Signature insoles and switched to these when they were discontinued. All of my SOLE insoles have been great, but these are my favorites. I have them in all of my shoes, boots and running shoes. Since I switched to SOLE from Superfeet I’ve had no more issues with plantar fasciitis, and no foot pain or fatigue. They aren’t cheap but they are worth every penny. Try them. You’ll be glad you did.

Supportive Sandals

I had foot surgery 3 years ago and have been wearing SOLE insoles ever since. This is not your regular flip flop. The sandals have excellent support and look good too. I can wear them all day and have no pain on my feet.

Game changer

I have been wearing the Performance Wide Medium in my work shoes for over a month now, and they have helped my foot pain at the end of the day. I am 57 years old and average about 15000 steps a shift, so I needed the help. The only drawback is this model does make a significant weight increase to the shoe. I just put my Active Wide Medium into my New Balance walking shoes. Within my first walk I knew this was a massive improvement to the performance of these shoes. They give the same feel as the thick model, without taking away from the shoe’s cushioning and do not add a noticeable amount of weight. I am buying 2 more pairs right away. If you are looking to try SOLE, I think that the Active Medium is the best place to start.

Good for plantar fascia

I have diagnosed plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Especially, I have heel spurs. I have used two different brand footbeds (Dr. Scholl's and Trek Support) for my injury. My PT specialist suggested putting a SOLE brand footbed. When I put on it in my regular shoes and wear it, it gave pressure on my foot arch a lot and felt really different immediately. It did not give me any pain in my heel spur. I used it only for seven days. So far, it is really positive. I just ordered three more to put in my all shoes (two Thin for tennis shoes, one Medium for working shoes).

wearing for years

I used the Active Thick for work for about 6 years for work shoes as a server and in winter boots, now I use them for walking shoes too. I get pain in my heel when I don't have enough cushion so I like these best for walking in, especially for long periods. With the right shoes I can walk for many hours with no pain, even on harder surfaces. Not as good as the Medium for running in because they are more rigid, but much better for when I'm not running. I need to size up tight-fitting shoes by a half size to allow these to fit as my usual size 9 runners made me feel like I was losing circulation with these in them but feels great with a 9.5. My boots still fit them fine with a 9. Immediate improvement when switching to a fresh set and then gets better in the next couple wears as it molds to the foot.

These flip flops are amazing! It's my second pair (in a different color). They take a couple days to get used to the support, but it's just what I need! Love these shoes!

These are great supportive shoes for everyday. They are very comfortable and light. You wouldn’t think you are wearing supportive flip flops they are just like regular everyday shoes - but they stop foot pain and plantar fasciitis. The Mateo Sport Slide is very comfortable and is helping my foot pain on the balls of my feet. I've been wearing them much of the day for about a month. It fits pretty well, though it's a bit long for my foot. I usually wear a size 8. It's light, which is nice, so my feet don't get tired when wearing them. I would like it to be available in other colours though, especially a light, white or cream colour for the summer months. Thanks SOLE!

Awesome product

The Active Thin insoles are incredibly useful for me. I started to use them 7 years ago after a piece of advice from a podiatrist as I am having a mild flat-foot and I was getting sole pain after walking or running. Since I used them, my problem disappeared completely. I am using them in all my shoes, whether classic ones or sports ones. I usually remove the original footbed and replace them with my SOLE insoles and once they are in place, I am comfortable with no walking issue. I did not have to mould them as I believe they should maintain their original curve to support the foot arch. At least this worked for me. I have bought 8 pairs up till now to cover all my shoes. Highly recommended product.

Great support and comfort!

Helps My Plantar Fasciitis

I recently bought my second pair of SOLE Active Thick insoles. Plantar fasciitis causes me a lot of pain in my right heel. Along with proper stretching and ice, supportive and well-cushioned insoles help keep discomfort at bay. The thinner SOLE insoles support my foot in the proper position to avoid trouble, but these are even better because they cushion that tender area that gets battered with every step. I just wish I had a pair for every pair of shoes I own!

I was pleased to find these Catalina sandals that also can provide the metatarsal support recommended to me by podiatrist this summer when experiencing foot pain. Found these to be very comfortable, enjoyed just slipping them on first thing in the am and hanging out with them. Had a momentary issue with strap rubbing one area, didn't wear for a few days, and now just fine. So glad to have a supportive option for summer wear.

I wear these for work and I stand for long hours. It will form to your feet but still provides the support. The material is good too!! Durable material and cool designs! Would recommend the met pad for problematic foot people like myself!! It helped with the other leg pains bad support caused to knees, ankles, or hips.

Changed Everything

Attn: Fellow foot pain sufferers! I have for too many years, purchased prescribed shoe inserts at the cost of $300/pair plus and they never seemed to change the game. Let's face it, your feet grow and the prescribed inserts are supposed to be replaced every two years. That's $150/year for not much gain on the pain. I was just about to replace a pair (now $400 pandemic price) when I happened to walk into an REI store and was looking at shoes and talking about my feet and the salesperson recommended SOLE Performance. I will never buy another prescribed insert, full stop. My shoes feel completely different now. From the moment I pulled these warmed inserts from the oven and slipped them into my work boots I knew, this was/is the answer and at $60/pair a tremendous savings. Life saving insole

Love this insole. I’ve got a bad case of metatarsalagia and have been on the hunt for non-surgical relief without having to completely replace my sneakers, dress shoes, casual shoes, boots, running shoes and cycling shoes. This insole solved that problem. Easy to swap between shoes but always providing the net relief I need. I love the higher heel cup, the moment you put it in the shoe and lace it up you can feel your heel supported and hugged without being too tight. I cannot recommend the Active Medium with met pad enough!! If you have foot pain, pick a set up and watch the pain become more manageable and hopefully go away!

I suffer with plantars fasciitis and as long as I wear these insoles with met pad support, my foot pain is gone. I have been using SOLE insoles for 4-5 years. They are great in any of my shoes. Good quality, thick and supportive sole

I have been wearing these Active Thick insoles for about 5 years now. They're my go to. I work on concrete floors in a retail setting so it's extremely hard on shoes. But these are amazing. I used to pay upwards of 400 dolllars for custom fit orthotics but tried these at a fraction of the cost and honestly, they last longer than my orthotics did. They offer amazing support and if you suffer from foot pain, or plantar faciitis, trust me and try these. You will not regret it. I recommend the Active Thick insoles as I have tried 3 other types of thinner ones. These ones just feel better. I tried the met pad ones this time as I usually get the ones without and I love them honestly. Will definitely buy again!

No more foot pain

I put the Active Medium with Met Pad in my indoor workout shoes to see if it helped with my foot pain and occasional numbness. It took a few days to get used to them as my foot was forming them but after that - they have worked great. I no longer dread doing my indoor workout! I have no more pain in my feet.

Walking on Clouds

If you want to feel like you are "walking on clouds".....this is the flip flop for you. I completely forgot I had foot pain(corns) when I slid into these shoes. Soft, flexible with just enough form....heaven. Wore them for 2 hours the first time and the next day for 6 hours....now that's comfortable. The soft "spongy" form fitting base provides all day comfort. I wear them as slippers indoors and sandals outdoors. This is my 4th pair of SOLE Flips and I love them.

SOLE arch support insoles

One foot has a fallen arch as the result of an ankle injury a few months back. It was suggested to me by an athletic trainer to try the SOLE product before going the route of seeing a foot doctor. This might mitigate the pain in my ankle and across the top of my foot, and on the inside of my foot. There was also considerable swelling on the ball of the foot causing some minor numbness. I have been wearing this product for a month or so and can attest to the fact that the pain is negligible and most days the swelling is much decreased, which also lessens the numbness. It is by far the best insole I have ever used...very comfortable. In fact, I am going to order two more pairs for other shoes. Once you warm the insole, slide it into a pair of shoes, and step into the shoe, the insole is definitely shaped to your foot but also then seems to be shoe specific. Thank you for making such a good and affordable product.

So wonderful to be able to wear flip flops again

Having problems with my back and with plantar fasciitis, I hike and have five acres to look after. So back and foot pain was really hard to deal with. Years ago I had got my first pair of SOLE footbeds for pronation and they fixed my pronation which in turn ended my knee pain which threatened to end my hiking. I have a lot of faith in the SOLE product,. Now SOLE is first place I look when I have problems. Two days ago I climbed crossover pass almost 2000 meters of gain 20 km with SOLE inserts and my body feels fine today, I wear the flip flops around the property I am constantly gardening, mowing, pruning, etc and I feel great, by the way I am in my 70’s . Perfect for my work shoes!

I’m a paramedic on a busy 911 service so I’m on my feet a lot. I purchased these for my work shoes because I was having horrible left foot pain to the point I was wondering if I had a stress fracture and needed to see a doctor. I placed these in my shoes as soon as they arrived and the difference has been phenomenal! I no longer have pain. I believe a lot of my issue was coming from a lack of support for my arches and these insoles provide the missing link. Huge improvement

I got these footbeds because I have incredibly flat feet and I get a lot of foot pain on my road bike. These are perfect! They give just the right amount of support and cushion. My knees track straight now instead of pronating. I'm using these in Shimano RC9 shoes and they fit perfectly.

Incredible reduction I'm foot pain

The foot supports I bought are simply amazing. I work as a mechanic for heavy injection molding machines so I'm on my feet all day carrying heavy parts, driving bolts using my legs and feet for leverage and jumping and climbing onto machines. It put a lot of pressure on my feet and I would go home to pounding, swelling feet every day. After I tried these, it was instantly better with the burning pain replaced by only soreness as my feet adjusted to the mold. After about 2 weeks of my feet adjusting to the pads all my foot pain is gone and I go all week without them burning, swelling or hurting so bad they cause a limp anymore. Overall an amazing product especially for the price

Excellent foot bed

I have been using these footbeds for years now. They fit both my shoes and my feet perfectly and are very comfortable. The arch shape is exactly right for my foot and allows me to stand and walk without pain. The material used to make the footbeds is the right combination of flexible and rigid. Love these! Comfortable and good looking. Been wearing SOLE sandals over a year now and they are worth the extra price over cheap flip flops and sandals. Very comfortable

I purchased these flips in June, and find them very comfortable. I wanted something I could walk into to go out to the garden, and kick off when I was done. They 're even comfortable to drive in. I have plantars faciatis and knee arthritis so I needed proper support. The cork footbed is very helpful and I am experiencing less foot and knee pain. I have even work them all day out running errands, and have much less knee pain than before.

SOLE is number one

SOLE has delivered where others have failed. I have had foot issues for most of my life. One of my major problems is supination. Most insoles address overpronation. SOLE takes care of both. I have been using Performance Medium with Met pad (cork) for about 6 weeks. The medium works great in a pair of shoes I have that are very roomy. I then ordered 2 more pair in the Thin Performance for shoes where I needed a little more toe wiggle. My balance has improved and the achilles heel pain in my right foot is gone. I only wish I had discovered SOLE insoles years ago.

I can count on SOLE

I got my first pair of SOLE inserts maybe 10 years ago. I teach motorcycle riding, and when I do that, I'm walking about eight miles a day on pavement, and I have to wear boots. I got my first pair of SOLE inserts then, and what a difference they made. I actually felt like doing something other than sitting after teaching. A few years later I ended up with surgery for a Morton's Neuroma, and the doctor would tweak other inserts for me to use. Those worked for a little while, but I've had issues for a while with a metatarsal as a result of the surgery. Wearing any shoes that aren't made for problem feet doesn't work. Ahead of an important motorcycle event where I had to dress for the period, I purchased a pair of high top Converse, which I thought I'd wear once for the photo and that would be it. I purchased the Active Thin with Met Pad for the shoes. Perfect! I wore them throughout the week for the whole event and had no foot pain or discomfort. I never thought I would be able to wear shoes like that, but thanks to SOLE inserts, I can.

Significant improvement in foot pain

These sandals are great for anyone who needs a metatarsal pad for comfort. The feeling is night and day compared to standard flat sandals which caused unbearable pain. Time will tell how durable they are, but so far I am very happy with them.

Foot problem corrector!

I had been having bad foot pain in my big toes when I went to bed after running. I have a high arch, and the podiatrist recommended a metatarsal pad, which helped a little. After adding these insoles to my shoes, toe pain and hip pain went away. I deleted the extra metatarsal pad since these had them built in (a plus for me). Pretty great, and a surprise as I had just accepted that the pains were to be expected with my advancing age (55). I've been using the Performance Thin with Metatarsal pad for about a month now, and it took about a week for me to normalize with them. They didn't have any break in period per se, they just worked fine out of the box. Had to do a little trimming to fit my shoe exactly, but no big deal with a pair of scissors. The cork base is good, and appears to be very durable (I have plenty of cork shoes that last well). The rigid nature seemed like it would be an issue for shoe flex, but I haven't noticed anything different. Glad to be back in the happy zone and out of the pain zone!

Able to Hike Again

I started using SOLE footbeds three months ago and couldn't be happier. My bunions and flat feet used to get so painful from skiing, hiking, and long walks. I put the Active Medium with Met Pad in my shoes and never looked back. I was able to hike 20 km a day, several days in a row, with zero foot pain or discomfort. Before using these a 20 km hike would have had me in tears and out of commission for a few days. I did find the thick pad took a few days to fit properly to my foot but it was so worth it!

Super comfy, good support

My feet are impossible to find a comfortable, supportive fit for. But these sandals fit great! I have bunions and high arches. Often experience sore feet and sometimes arch cramping. When I first tried them on, they felt a little lumpy. But turns out, they are lumpy in all the right places. They provide me great support and keep my feet pain-free! My only complaint is that when my feet sweat or get wet, the sandals feel a bit slippery (where foot meets sandal, not where sandal meets the ground). Love them and highly recommend to others. Wish they came in more colors (light or dark brown, teal).

Perfect for morton's neuroma

I was leery buying the foot bed with the built-in metatarsal support. I have never had any luck with shoes with built-in supports, so I was afraid these wouldn't work. Saves my feet and ankles

The insoles work great. I have little cartilage in my ankles and my arches have fallen made walking sore. This the the 5 pair of these I have bought because they are so effective in mediating and managing my foot problems. I walk pain free after every meal 6 to 8 miles a day.

Great insole!

I have been suffering from pain and numbness in my middle toes and pad of my foot for a while now. I recently read that it may be Morton's Neuroma. I started looking around for a foot bed that would help and found the SOLE with met pad. I cannot believe what a huge relief they have brought me. I ended up ordering three pairs. for everyday walking shoes, golf shoes and hiking shoes. Since I go them, my right foot has gotten progressively worse so I have started the process of going to a specialists but it is confirmed as Morton's Neuroma. It is worse without shoes and, honestly, my only real relief is when my feet are up with no weight on them or in my shoe with the SOLE foot bed. I've now had them for about 4 months and they are holding up amazingly well. Besides helping with my toes they are comfortable in every other way. They make you really laugh at what comes with your shoes or what they sell in a pharmacy.

I have a broken bone in my foot that is always painful. It is attached to the outside foot tendon, which keeps it from healing. I had Plantar Fasciitis about eight years ago which is very painful. My daughter recommended SOLE products as it had helped her. I bought my first pair and my foot problems stopped. Can't do without these!

I suffered from foot pain for WAY TOO LONG. My orthopedic doctor recommended these many years ago and I absolutely can't do without them. If I go one day without, my feet, ankles and legs just ache. Great product

These insoles feel like they would be great for someone with metatarsal pain. They're firm and very supportive. Sizing was accurate. This is a quality product. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis shortly after receiving these so I can't give a proper review on comfort. The firmness actually makes the pain worse but these insoles are not meant for rheumatoid arthritis pain. My mother has metatarsalgia and she swears by SOLE products. She has multiple pairs of sandals and insoles and she says they have helped with her foot pain immensely.

Days Without Foot Pain

Ordered 3 pairs of Softec Response to use in various casual shoes. Have use inserts by SOLE for years in work footwear (in response to planter fasciitis issues) & have been 100% satisfied. Have also used SOLE Hiking inserts in my hiking boots and have been very happy. Also, have worn their flip flops with wonderful success. However, am not completely sold on the results of my recent switch to the Softec Response for my work boots. Have experienced a little return of planter heel pain and am still trying to get it worked out. I will continue to remain a SOLE customer however because of all of my past successes. When you are 68 years old and have always worked on your feet, you realize that your days with out foot pain have far outweighed those with and applaud the reasons why.

No more pain

I am a barefoot girl, I like to exercise my feet, and I'm a stickler for posture including movement dynamics. In spite of all the care in my body alignment, and buying no heel shoes, I still experienced pain every time I wore shoes. Up until now! Since wearing SOLE orthotics (and SOLE sandals are now my house slippers) my feet feel amazing! I use these for my military job and when I say it's helped my knee pain and foot issues, it's a complete 180 degree change. I was prescribed a pair during basic training and have finally bought new ones. They lasted almost 8yrs in boots for me and are extremely comfortable. You guys definitely saved my military career.

I really like these - I like these more than my 400 dollar custom orthotics. My favourite thing about them is that they make my gait feel more natural. I've always had foot/ankle problems, including overpronation, peroneal tendonitis, os trigonum issues, etc. I always feel awkward when I walk. These help my bad foot do that natural heel-to-toe motion properly. Overall, they reduce my foot and ankle pain a lot - I can't believe how affordable they are. Only problem is that now I hate walking without them.

Great insole

I have very flat feet and have struggled with foot injuries because of it. This insole with the met pad feels a bit different at first but ultimately relives my foot pain I have had for years. These insoles offers such great support. I have been fitted for very expensive custom inserts from my foot doctor but I hate wearing them. My custom made inserts are hard as a rock no padding and squeak like crazy. I have worn my SOLE inserts for a few weeks now and I'm sold on these. I love them. I have since bought two more pairs and sandals from SOLE. I hope they are all just as great. I'm so glad I found this company. Life changing.

They're great!

None provide support where it's needed; they concentrate on being squishy, and what I need is firm support. I bought your insoles on a chance, fully expecting that they'd be the same as all the others. WOW! They weren't! They were firm at the arch and helped counteract the flatness. They're comfortable! The only thing missing is a wedge on the inside side of my heel, to tilt the whole foot outwards. Thanks people! I love them.

I bought your insoles on a chance, fully expecting that they would be the same as all the others. WOW! They weren't! They were firm at the arch and helped counteract the flatness. They're comfortable! The only thing missing is a wedge on the inside side of my heel, to tilt the whole foot outwards. Thanks people! I love them.

I was given this information from a friend and decided to try SOLE as nothing else has worked for my constant foot pain. After putting the Active Thin Wide one in my loafers that I had not been able to wear for very long at a time, I can now wear when shopping, for longer stretches of time. No More Foot Pain

I am very thankful to my co-worker that suggested SOLE insole. I was having terrible foot pain in my toe area. I tried wider toe boxes which helped a small amount but after wearing the Softec Response insoles for a week or so I no longer have any foot pain! I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Cute and comfy

I received my flips a month ago and practically haven't taken them off (I wear them like slippers around the house then outside in the yard) . They are casual, sexy looking, completely neutral and give a nude look to my feet! They stay on my feet quite well when I'm walking, but I would love another pair with a back strap so that I could do some serious walking with them. And most importantly - absolutely no foot pain!

I've suffered from hip pain and tarsal tunnel syndrome for years. Then I read about supination, which is walking on the outside of your foot. I realized I did that and looked up ways to correct it. SOLE's website came up and I ordered what was recommended. After just TWO DAYS my hip pain had receded to the point where I barely noticed it. I also found that my tarsal tunnel syndrome symptoms (caused by nerve compression in the ankles) were drastically reduced. When I took off my shoes and socks to go to bed, I was amazed that I could actually feel the texture of the carpet under my feet for the first time in years. AFTER TWO DAYS! I purchased a variety of SOLE products for all of my shoes. Boots, running shoes, work sneakers, casual sneakers. I did the oven/heated custom fitting as recommended, and the SOLEs have formed to my feet perfectly (I have a medium arch). I'm finally at a place where I love putting on any shoe and moving around without pain and discomfort. I can finally purchase stylish shoes without looking like I rolled out of the foot doctor! Great Insoles

I have had foot and ankle pain for years. I was using expensive orthodics untill I found these insoles. When I first received them I compared them to my expensive insoles they were almost the same. The arch height was the same - the only difference I could see was the heel cup was not quite as deep. The thickness was a little softer. In my opinion these are better then the expensive ones. I have them in all my shoes and work boots.

Originally I bought these to alleviate toe pain from an old turf toe injury. I liked that they are made from recycled cork and that they are molded to my foot. They fit great in my On Cloudboom runners without a need to trim them. I've had them for about a month and, granted I haven't done much for long distance, I haven't experienced any toe pain and really like the added support they provide. Only issue is I notice they make a low squeaking noise when I walk. Don't really notice it when I run though.

Offers Stability

I have paralysis in both of my lower legs and feet. The insole provides arch support and stability. Otherwise I would stand and walk on a hard, flat carbon fiber footplate. The insole provides support arch support and decreases nerve pain. Also prevents my foot from moving side to side within my shoe.

I needed some new insoles. My friend told me how her new pair of SOLE Active inserts way fixed her foot pain and showed me her pair. They looked exactly like what an active shoe insert should look like so I bought a pair. Wow! What a difference! New life to my old shoes. Better life to my hiking boots and way happy feet to my work boots, all from one new pair of SOLE Active inserts. I've had 'em for about 2 months. They're durability seems to be great (looking forward). The fit is good for 4 out of 5 pairs of my footwear. And yes, they are comfortable! My fifth pair is just a bit small for the insert so I have to stay with my old pair of inserts. Exceeded my expectations for comfort. In my opinion, BUY 'EM!! They work!

A new beginning

I have suffered with a left foot Morton's Neuroma for years. I could never hike more than 4 miles (with or without backpack)....UNTIL NOW!! These inserts are no joke and there is absolutely no hype in the claims. Proof? I just returned from a backpacking trip to Sedona, AZ & the Grand Canyon with newly installed Active Thick with Met pad. It was trial under fire. Result? Zero foot pain....and I mean ZERO. Canyon hike alone was 16 miles with steep descent and ascent. Works very well for my metatarsal pain

After an increase in snow shoeing and cross country skiing frequency, I began to feel acute pain in my metatarsal head when walking, especially barefoot on hard surface, but then it progressed to walking at all times unless I taped my foot to lift the metatarsal heads. It's tough to tape your skin daily so it was time to finally get orthotics. I bought a thin pair with met pad for my every day shoes and the thick ones with met pad for running. With the insoles I was able to KEEP running in spite of the injury (although I taped at the same time at first) but soon stopped the tape and the orthotics alone were enough to give me relief. After about 6-8 weeks it had healed enough that I could walk barefoot indoors occasionally without pain. I still prefer to wear the insoles on a daily basis as my transverse arch has chronically dropped and it is more comfortable to walk/run with them supported by the insoles. I am also a physiotherapist and I recommend these SOLE moldable arches as a first resort before spending hundreds of dollars on custom orthotics. Great service also!

No more foot pain

I have for many years used support insoles. I was using the Barefoot Science product and really liked it. The reason for the change was price. I decided to look around for an alternative support. I was looking for a Canadian product and the bonus was SOLE used recyclable material. I decided to try a couple or pairs and I am very satisfied. I walk to and from work with a backpack for about 2 Km each way. I've been doing this for about ten years. I started to suffer from foot pain (plantar F) because I was carrying more in the backpack. I'm happy to say that since using SOLE my the foot pain is almost totally resolved. The Performance Mediums I purchased for my golf shoes. I also purchased Thins for my dress shoes and about six pairs of Thick for walking shoes and snow boots. I also bought slip on shoes that I use for slippers, they are great. Saved my snowboard boots

Great for chef shoes

Bought them for my son who as a chef works 11 hours on his feet. Previously his socks would shred under the balls of his feet from all the pressure and cause a lot of foot pain in that area. After using the active medium pads he can't believe how much better his feet feel! He wants pairs for his non work shoes because his feet ache without them.

Bunion Suffering, Foot Care Nurse Recommended

I have had bunions since the age of 13 and am now 36 likely related to flat foot arches. I first purchased one of these insoles to place inside my K-Swiss shoes (which I purchase in men's sizes despite being a women due to the larger toe box) a few years ago. I absolutely love these insoles. LOVE. LOVE THEM! I have had virtually no bunion-related pain since using these in my work shoes when previously I was on the surgical wait list for bunion removal surgery. For more context, I am a nurse who works acute care; 12 hour shifts most of which is spent speed walking through the unit. I can't say enough good things about these insoles. My feet are no longer in excruciating pain by the end of my shifts -- and this has remained true through the 2-3 years that I have used them. I am still happily using my first purchased SOLE insole in my work shoes and ended up buying another pair for a video review and to use in a new pair of work shoes that I am currently breaking in. I tell EVERYONE about these insoles because I love them so much.

I broke my foot 6 months ago (Lisfranc mid foot multiple bone and ligament injury) and the recovery has been brutal. I tried many therapies, but the constant aches and pains have not yet gone away. I am a cyclist and I have been having knee and metatarsal joint pain for over a year. When walking my left foot tends to land on outside edge first and then collapses towards inside. This puts a lot of stress on my left knee and met joint especially when I am on the bike. I read about cycling shoe insoles and SOLE was highly recommended. I decided to try and ordered a pair of Active Thins with Met Pad. What a difference they made in a week. I wear them in my cycling shoes and metatarsal pain has decreased a great deal. My knee also tracks straight as opposed to making an elliptic travel during up and down strokes. Met Pad in my case helped a lot. Despite my left leg being the stronger one I was only able to push 32% on the bike. It's almost at 50% right now. I guess my foot was all over the place. I ordered a medium ones for my walking shoes and they work great also. It has been only 10 days but the difference is big. Custom molding them is very easy, great soles at very affordable price. I highly recommend this product.

I have purchased 2 SOLE cork foot beds now and I will never buy another brand. Last year when I was experiencing foot pain in my functional fitness shoes I decided to give them a try. I was sold nearly immediately. They confirmed to my foot and soon after all of my pains and aches had disappeared. There was no question in my mind when the insoles of my beloved boots folded up that I replace them with the Thin footbed. Nothing short of amazing. I could stand all day without issue. I only wish I could have these in every pair of shoes I own. On the fence? Don't be. You'll be glad you tried these.

Can't live without them

I have really high arches and having to wear steel toe work boots for 10 hours a day is excruciating. I've been using SOLE insoles for years now and I can't imagine wearing my boots without them. I recently tried the Met Pad version and it helps with the pain I would occasionally get in the outside area of my foot right below the toes. These insoles are thick so make sure there is plenty of room in the toe box if you plan on using them.

Great for sneakers; too thick for Crocs

I am recovering from hip replacement surgery and have learned that I need arch support to correct my leg alignment from "duck-footed" to straight ahead. This Active Thick SOLE with Met Pad is perfect support for my daily walks when placed inside my sneakers. I first tried them inside my Crocs, my "inside shoes," and this was painful, as the Crocs have surprisingly little give. So now I know I need a Medium thickness with Met Pad for Crocs, Thick with Met Pad for sneakers. I don't know how I managed without this support for so long! Thank you, SOLE.

Best walking SOLEs

I had been wearing my Thick SOLEs for about a month now, unbelievable. I have 2 dogs so I am walking twice a day 7 km total, no foot pain, it all resolved. Prior to Thick SOLEs I had good runners on but always had heel etc .pain, these SOLEs are life savers, I also have slim ones for my flat shoes and medium for my high boots, I love them all and they all work for a different shoes.... very well made. With the thick SOLEs I will order half size bigger my runners... the comfort is so amazing for my walks... love my SOLEs!

Relief from pain

I was already feeling metatarsal soreness which would be relieved with a taping technique I used. I was considering orthotics since taping my feet regularly was starting to irritate my skin. Then with winter boots and a cross country ski day, I further irritated my left foot and was feeling sharp pain at my first metatarsal head. I ordered the Active Thin with Met Pad and instantly could walk without the pain. This is helping me walk more normally again. Customer service was AMAZING when I had an issue with the medium thickness pair I ordered. Definitely recommend this product! The shaping of the orthotic in the oven was actually very easy to do also. Happy customer here!

Bought these for my mom as she's been using SOLE inserts since she injured her foot/leg. The local shoe store she usually gets them from recommend her the medium active & price gauged them. Active Medium have been working for her, but coming straight to the website we found so many different options & she herself picked these Thick ones out. Got them quick & she loves them. We will continue to order these from here for now on. Even though she has surgery in March to correct her foot issues, we're ordering a second pair for my house. She NEVER takes her shoes off (her arch is really bad) due to the pain, so we're putting them in some recovery sandals and then she'll have a pair for inside and outside. Greet insole for cycling

I use these for cycling and they've turned a once so-so pair of shoes into very comfortable shoes that i can use on 3+ hour rides. I used to get pain on the outside side of my foot after a few hours but this insole has helped get rid of it. Plus my higher archer know feel nice and supported.

Best insoles ever

These insoles are excellent. I had to give up my daily 8 Km walks for 8 days and ride the stationary bike because of extreme pain from metatarsalgia in my right foot. This condition had been undiagnosed but getting worse over the last few years and I googled the symptoms, which brought me to your website. I followed the oven instructions and fitted the insoles in place of the factory insoles and began using them that day. The met pad made a 100 percent difference and I am now pain free when I walk or hike. I have a pair in my hiking boots and my trail shoes. My only regret was that I had not found your company 5 years ago when the metatarsalgia started.

Cycling Shoes and Ski Boots

I have these in my road cycling shoes and they've eliminated any discomfort and keep my feet feeling good on century+ length rides. My 11 year old son complained of foot pain in his ski boots so we inserted a pair and he's commented on the comfort ever since. Oh I'm so happy to have found these insoles! I've struggled with plantar fasciitis pain for the last year or so. I've tried wearing a walking boot 24/7, wearing a variety of different night splints, and have tried a couple of different insoles, and these have made the most difference! I love that the SOLE Active Thin w/Met Pad fit into more of my shoes than the other insoles (the size 8 pad fits perfectly in all my size 8 and 8.5 shoes), and after wearing them for a little more than a week, my foot pain is GREATLY REDUCED! While I can't speak to the longevity/long term use of these insoles, I'm optimistic and I've planned on order a couple more sets so I don't have to take them in and out of different pairs of shoes.

Morton’s Neuroma Reflief

I've been trying different insoles from different companies for over a year trying to find one that worked. This one does! It fits in my runners perfectly without filing them up with too much padding on the bottom. The metatarsal pad and arch support really improve the discomfort of the neuroma. I've been exercising in them for 2-3 weeks and I've noticed a huge improvement in my foot pain lessening. Easy to break in.

Joint pain went from a 7 to a 1

I've had lower extremity joint pain for years (I'm only 19), including patellofemoral syndrome and foot supination. Putting these in my work shoes has changed the game for me, truly: I noticed an immediate difference and my pain has subsided in the two months that I've been wearing the inserts. I chose to let the inserts mold to my feet over a few days and they worked perfectly. They give the shoe more of a firm footbed, which I like. 100% would recommend and would buy again.

Why pay 500.00 dollars when you can wear SOLES

I have had plantar fasciitis and achilles problems. After trying many things the doctor decided that I needed to see a foot doctor. I then purchased insoles at 500.00 dollars which in a bit of time worked. The sad part is before my 500.00 expense I had purchased your product but did give your SOLEs enough time to work. The foot doctor asked me what I had tried and I told him SOLEs and he asked how long had I used them for. Amazing Insoles

I suffered from plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I would limp in pain when I got out of bed in the morning. I would hobble when I walked. I had tried other insoles but they only gave me temporary relief. Then I tried these insoles. They saved my feet! Within 2 weeks the pain was gone. I could walk and move without pain. Saved my feet!

I have been a SOLE wearer for about 15 years. During my first pregnancy, I had the worst Plantar Fasciitis and could barely walk. A local store recommended that I put a pair of sole insoles inside every pair of shoes...and it worked. Completely cured my foot pain. Thanks SOLE!

Cork is the way

I've tried many of the SOLE products now and I found the cork footbeds to be the best. I'm not sure why exactly, but I have much less foot pain with this bed. I feel a little spring back with them, a little shock absorbing. Cork is unique and none of the other pads feel this way. Sadly I see REI is closing them out, I hope that doesn't mean this product is EOL.

4th Pair - Love Them!

I love these flip flops, and have bought multiple pairs over the years. I wear them every day (I'm in a warm climate) and they hold up pretty well. They REALLY help with my feet (bunions) and ankle problems. Since I've purchased SOLE products my foot pain is a thing of the past. I was super skeptical when my doc said I should wear supportive footwear only. I really didn't believe it. But now I do. SOLE is the ticket!

I have terrible foot pain if the ball of my foot is constricted at all and these slides are super comfortable and cause me no pain. Yet they stay on well even though they are not constrictive. I am very happy with them.

Even better than the rest of my SOLE sandals

Due to back and foot issues, I have been wearing SOLE flip flops exclusively for over 10 years, which explains why I own more than 10 pairs! These are sleeker and lighter than the ones I normally wear and I love them so much that I am wearing them inside instead of slippers. I have one leg slightly longer than the other, so my shoemaker fits the right one with a lift - not something you can do with cheap sandals. They are sporty yet delicate enough to wear with a dress. I have already ordered another pair! I am so glad my best friend, who was dealing with a foot injury, turned me onto these. My sister, who also has foot issues, is now a fan thanks to me. I bought her a pair for Christmas this year, because she wears the ones I bought her exclusively as well. All this style, and the reduction of pain makes life super sweet.

Beyond expectations!

I bought these for my boyfriend who has struggled with foot pain due to having flat feet. It's been two months since he started wearing them and they have done wonders for his pain. I had went to my foot doctor for a yearly checkup and had talked about the fatigue and pain of being on my feet all day and climbing ladders at work. My doctor recommended I check out the SOLE site and recommended the insole I should look at. I went on the site and ordered a couple of pair of insoles. Since wearing them for a couple of months my feet and legs are feeling much better. I could not believe the difference! I am very happy with the product and the difference it has made in my life.

Great solution to a painful foot problem

I've been using SOLE insoles for years and they have been great. I now walk over 30 miles per week and over the past 18 months, I've started to have foot pain. I do have Morton's toe and suffered with a neuroma. I tried several different approaches to support and cushion my metatarsal area but all were problematic - slipping pads, pads that didn't conform to my foot, etc. I discovered the SOLE with built in met support about two months ago. They have been a lifesaver. I have them for my walking shoes and also for my everyday shoes and they have completely erased the foot pain. I also bought a pair for my husband's walking shoes and they have worked for him as well. I highly recommend these SOLE footbeds to alleviate ball of the foot and toe pain.

Great flips

I had a lot of foot pain from a severe case of planters fasciitis and my Podiatrist recommended wearing these SOLE flips as slippers on the hardwood and tile floors of our house. After wearing them for a few months around the house my fasciitis is 95% better. The Monetery flips fit well and are very comfortable to wear. They are very well made and look good as well.

Instantly comfortable

The ball of my foot always gives me a great deal of pain. I immediately felt these helped the issue, and now that I've worn them for hundreds of hours on the job, I am going to buy them for life. My big toe was sore for a bit, as it's adjusting to proper alignment. This is easily fixed by doing toe crunches, such as picking up foam and placing it in a bowl with your toe.

Awesome insoles!

Such a great insole! I used to have superfeet insoles and they weren't the best. However, the Lifestyle Medium insoles help with my knee pain (due to pronated ankles/feet). They're also very soft and give my whole foot support, especially the arch. It fits perfectly in all my shoes, and has started to really form around my foot. I'll definitely buy them again.

I was having a lot of knee hip and lower back pain, so I decided to look for "healthy" shoes. They are great! I was worried at first because the sole is quite hard, and there is a weird bump in the middle, but it is very comfortable and did help with my pain. I added a heel wedge for pronation and my pain is gone when I wear these shoes. I cut off the heel part because it made the shoes difficult to put on and take off, and folded down it was quite uncomfortable. I use these as house shoes because of my knee hip back pain so taking off and on easily is important. They stay on well even without the heel part, however I need to wear thick socks otherwise the shoes rub and it hurts. I measured my foot according to size guide and it fits fine, I think even for feet the are a bit wide they should be good

Happy Joints and Happy Feet

I am flat-footed (and pronate), and while I love thongs, they simply don't do the bottom of my feet and rest of my body any good. I usually end up with lower joint problems from my hips down to my ankles when I would wear traditional sandals. The arch support in the Costa Flip allows me to comfortably wear them (and actually walk long distances) without any pain during or after. It is such a nice change. I wear them often on walks that are often a good hour or so -- not just to wander around in! The bed has a nice amount of cushion, and I never experienced any blisters! Not even after my first wear.

I am a huge fan of SOLE footbeds. I have plantar fasciitis and had constant foot pain before discovering SOLE. I really like these Lark shoes. It is hard to find dress shoes that accommodate a sole footbed so I am happy that SOLE has expanded to making shoes. These are nice looking shoes. I am a bit concerned about how the wool will stand up to mud or rain, but I plan to mostly wear them in my office so that should not be a concern.

Excellent support and cushion

Works well for support and foot pain. Unlike prescription orthotics it cushions the large foot joints with movement. It is very good for allowing motion but giving support to the whole body. I went to the foot doctor and couldn't afford the 400.00 customized insoles nor did I want the steroid shot to take away my severe heel and arch pain. I asked him about the SOLE insoles he had for sale in the office and he recommended them as well so I got them. Within two days my pain level went from an 8 to a 1. Life Changing

I love running. I was unable to run for 2 years because I had plantar fasciatis. The combination of stretching the shit out of my calves, starting super slow and super short distances, icing, and wearing the active medium foot bed as just about cured my heel pain. I still have to manage it but I am running 4-5 miles couple times a week again. Go SOLE!

Great product! I have Achilles tendonitis so wearing flip flops seems impossible now without suffering from a great deal of pain afterward. My Chiropodist recommended I try a pair of sandals from SOLE and he was correct. These flip flops are amazing. I just recently wore them for 2 full days on a vacay that required a great deal of walking each day and I had zero pain afterward. I'm impressed. I also like that they look nice / sporty and don't look plain like a lot of other sandal brands that provide foot support. 5 stars for this product!

Great insrets

I recently had a flare up of my plantar fasciitis after spending about 6 hours walking around in the woods. After about 3 weeks of foot pain I finally made a appointment with my Podiatrist. Even though it was via video conference she highly recommended getting new insoles and suggested that I get the SOLE inserts. She said they are some of the best ones on the market. I did my research on them and was surprised that they were made from recycled corks. I went online and ordered a pair of the blue ones and upon ordering them realized I submitted the order twice contacted customer service the next day and he credited my account the shipping charges as the amount of 2 pair should of been free. I was so impressed with them once i put them in my work boots the pain was almost gone within 2 days. I keep up with my daily stretching and have not had any issues in my feet ever since I inserted my SOLE inserts. I will be spreading the word about great these inserts are and have actually taken them out of my shoes and shown people them. I'm sold on SOLE.

Comfort and style

Very happy to find these flips from the source in Canada as I've been wearing the brand for years and had difficulty finding them locally when needing to replace them. I live in these flips indoors and out all summer and in winter they serve as my indoor footwear. Before finding SOLE flips at my orthotics provider about 7 years ago I thought I would have to wear only closed shoes and orthotics to relieve my chronic sore feet and knees . However I found that SOLE Monterey flips support my arch and look good, and I have no pain at all. I really like the cork option which I currently have but also have enjoyed the all man made version of the same flip. They are hard-wearing and last for years. I always take a pair with me when I travel for hotels room foot wear, Highly recommended.

Quality of my new insoles

I am an avid walker and have used these insoles to help with the foot pain which was extreme. After using these insoles for over a year now I have almost eliminated the foot pain and make may walking journey much more manageable. I have recommended these exact insoles to a few of my walking buddies as well.

They were recommended to me by a friend, after I complained of knee pain when running. Overall, they greatly improve my ability to run for longer than 20 minutes without pain. I recommend this product. I went with active medium - don't see a reason to chose another kind. It fits comfortably to the foot. Again, the reason I use these is to alleviate pain from the knees, when running.

Fabulous for plantar fasciitis and everyday comfort

I bought 2 pairs of SOLE flips and they did, indeed, cure my plantar fasciitis. They prevented my foot from ever extending fully, when you get out of bed and step directly on the floor, which causes the sharp pain as the tissues that have started healing in the night get torn again and again. I put a waterproof pair right beside my bed, that I slipped into without ever having my feet touch the floor in the morning. I wore them right into the shower; again my feet never touched the floor. Then I transferred to a cork flip after that for the rest of the day at home. After 3 months my plantar fasciitis was gone! I continue to wear Sole flips, indoors every day and don't ever go barefoot anymore. After 10 years, my plantar fasciitis has not returned.

Knee problems solved

I owe a lot of respect to SOLE company. For some unknown reason I started having ankle pain on my right foot a few months ago. I was referred to a foot doctor, the same that had seen me during my childhood during 12 years and that fixed my problem having feet looking inwards. This time, the foot doctor made me those super technological orthodics that cost $400+. After 5 adjustments trying to improve them, because I was starting to feel a very painful pinching sensation in my inner knees (somewhere I NEVER had any problem before in my entire life), I came across SOLE footbed in a outdoors sale. I bought it thinking I had nothing to lose. I was pretty desperate at this point, nothing was doing it. My knees were in pain if I wore the foot orthodics or not, and the best solution was just not to walk at all : not an option at 32 years old! So I started using the SOLE footbeds, and all of a sudden, my knee pain disappeared! It was, and it still is, honestly so marvellous. I never told the Podiatrist I stopped using my custom orthodic, but now I got SOLE footbeds and my doctor was pretty happy I found my solution, so he wrote down the company name and went on recommending his patients the footbed. Great support for chronic pain

I live with chronic joint pain throughout my body. Theses are the best flip flops I have ever had. I started using this companies inserts 4-5 years back while in the Royal Canadian Navy. My foot pain brought on by poor arch and heal support while wearing sea boots and combat boots transversing steal decks, hard cement and pavement during my daily work routine. The pain became severe. I was eventually issued a set of SOLE inserts. The inserts definitely increased my quality of life. I eventually equipped all my footwear, civilian and military, with this companies inserts. The quality of the inserts are superb with excellent arch support and heal support with the cupping action at the heal. I swear by this company. Now that's myself. My wife has been suffering from foot pain as well for years, and kept buying cheap inserts. I ordered her a set of these inserts, we moulded them to her feet. She tells me that they have made a massive difference due to the support provided. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. they do last quite a long time. Perfect for Joint Pain of all Types

I have been using SOLE insoles for almost 20 years. They're comfortable, affordable, and they prevent ankle pain, tendonitis, and now that I'm older, all kinds of other joint pain. Thus, when I purchased another pair for myself, I also purchased a couple of pairs for my husband. He has been complaining of foot pain from bunions and knee pain. I recently replaced some custom inserts with these insoles and have been very pleased with their performance. I have more space in my shoes and have been able to keep my foot pain from my neuroma at bay. I purchased a pair of these at a ski shop as well and use them in my boots and continue to have plenty of room and increased comfort on the slopes. I appreciate the environmental concern of the company as well, which makes me happy to support them.

The best insoles - keep my feet healthy

I have SOLE insoles in my performance ski boots and most of my shoes. They keep my feet supported and shape to my feet very well. When I started to experience some foot pain with accompanying plantar fasciitis I tried SOLE insoles and my pain gradually faded away after a few weeks of stretching and consistent use of my active and performance medium footbeds. BEST FLIPS EVER!!!!!!

I love my Costa flips! They're the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. The support is amazing. As someone who is constantly on my feet running around these have helped my knees and back get back to normal where I don't need to see the Chiro as much. I had a figure skating injury when I was 15 to my lower back so I'm always in pain. The fit is great, the way it hugs my foot Is just right and love the mulberry color as it's my fave. I have been wearing these flips for 10 years. I own 7 pairs, and have just ordered a pair of the Baja flips. I have a large bunion on my left foot so very limited what footwear I can wear. Arch support

About three years ago, I bought a new pair of walking shoes and SOLE insoles to give me the rigid arch support my podiatrist told me I needed to get rid of chronic foot pain. The pain stopped immediately, and wearing them every day, I continue to be pain-free.

I bought these sandals after researching summer footwear for planter fasciitis. Well a few weeks in, and I can't be happier with the purchase of these flip flops. I had some minor knee issues, and since I have been wearing these I have not felt that pain in my knee when I walk. great footwear.

Excellent shoe! I bought multiple pairs. Very comfortable, looks good and supportive. I use them at my work in recreation therapy all day walking around at an acute hospital rehab. I have high arches, narrow small feet size 9 for a 6 foot tall body. With wrong shoes or shoes that don't fit well I end up with lower back pain and cramps that radiate up my shoulders into my arms and fingers, triggering fibromyalgia. With good shoes like these I do not have any pain or inflamation. Thank you!

Saved my feet

I have bone spurs that become very painful when cycling for hours in stiff-soled cycling shoes. After trying all sorts of pads, shoes, and insoles, the SOLE insoles have been a lifesaver. Well, ok, a footsaver. I recently completed a 500 mile gravel bike race with very little foot discomfort and I give a lot of credit to these SOLE insoles. These thick soles work best in shoes that already run a little big.

I love the Active Wide Thick SOLE footbed. It comfortably fits my whole foot. I live with your products daily and over the past 10 or more years they are with me always. I keep a pair in each shoe I own and they work great in my dress shoes. They also work well in my jogging shoes (and all-in-between). Best Flip Flop

I love my SOLE flips, I have about 7 pairs. I have inside flips I wear in the house instead of slippers as I need the orthotic support. I also have outside flips to wear out. This is my footwear of choice whenever I go out. The SOLE flips offer great support and stand up to a lot of wear. I do not experience any foot pain or heel pressure if I wear these. When I do wear bare feet or runners I do experience heel pain and sore feet.

For pain relief and proper biomechanical alignment.

I don't have flat feet but I was wearing a particular tennis shoes ( which I did not do a flex test on as I never had plantar fasciitis in my life and for having played 7 days a week of tennis for 40 years) in 2012 which I didn't realize was flexing in the middle of the arch. I then developed bilateral foot pains. I recognized the symptoms and I knew I had plantar fasciitis bilaterally. I did the flex test on the shoes and I found the cause. So I tried the SOLE Active Thick insoles in the shoes and the pain went away in about 3 weeks without doing any treatments. I now use the insoles in all the shoes I have. The one thing that is great about is the immediate noticeable change in the force generating capability of the muscles when wearing arch supports or insoles. Initially, one can get tested without wearing insoles in standing position with arms stretched out to sides (90 degrees of abduction of both shoulders), and applying a downward force around the elbow /arms. Let the testee resist. Then test again in the same position wearing the insoles and apply the same downward force. The testee and the tester should feel a difference. It should be stronger. This the reason why I recommend insoles not just to my patients who need arch supports but also for athletes who want better performance.

Another great flip!

I have been a sole customer for many years since I started having foot pain due to wearing flip flops that were flat. I usually purchase the sport flip, which I wear everywhere, but I wanted something a little different for the beach. These Costa flips are perfect. Very comfortable with support and looks great at the beach.

Top Notch

This SOLE product is my favourite, I spend a lot of time in boots and the thicker insert really helps support my arches and gives me additional mobility. These also will fit into tennis shoes, as long as they are not too tight fitting. The price is reasonable and I don't have to replace them too often. Would I buy them again? YES! I actually bought a pair for my father who has knee pain and these have helped greatly in stabilizing his foot and thus reducing knee pain. SOLE has a great products. Rich Hamm

Super comfortable and durable

I've used custom orthotics for years but the price of them is substantial. I began developing issues using my custom fits and the guy at the shoe store I frequent, suggested these. And I have to say, at nearly a quarter of the cost of custom orthotics, these saved my life. I work in a warehouse with concrete floor and it's brutal on the feet but these insoles in a pair of running shoes, are the most comfortable option I've ever had. I no longer have foot pain. I will definitely continue using these insoles. They are worth every penny.

"Form" over "foam"

I've had my SOLE orthotic shoe inserts for about a month, and they are by far the best I have ever owned (I've tried sooo many). The typical insoles with cushion, memory foam, gel, etc. never relieved my pain (kinda like putting foam on a hammer, but still continuing to hit your foot with the foam-covered hammer). The SOLE inserts are different. They are not soft (I have the cork version). They are firm, but their shape restores my arches and puts my feet back into the form and shape they are supposed to be in. After just an hour of adjusting to them, I had significant relief of my plantar fasciitis, which no other insole was able to provide me. This brand is a bit pricey, but well worth it. I wish I hadn't wasted so much money on all the other insoles that didn't work before discovering SOLE.

Best flip/orthodic/sexy shoe ever

So here it is; 5 years ago I was introduced to these flips and insoles from my sister who claimed to have her uncomfortable foot spurs disappear from wearing them...and I was having back pain so I thought I'd give them a try since I had tried many things including actual orthodics.I feel as though they completely line up my body as I stand on them. Every part of my foot feels supported and it has a ripple effect all the way up my body...amazing! They look good too! I always buy two pairs to wear in the house as slippers as well as most everywhere else I go (except the gym) that's when I use the footbeds. Best ever!

Supreme comfort and support

My podiatrist recommended these to me and in fact sold me my first pair. At 290 lbs I'm not a little guy and I wear size 13/14 extra wide shoes. I have flat feet. These insoles solve many problems for me. They give me arch support and provide much needed cushioning. I don't consider them a luxury but a necessity for my health. I can tell when it's time for a new pair by the pain in my feet. Oh yeah, while they're working I'm walking pain free. I've tried other brands and nothing else comes close. These are the best. If this doesn't fix your feet, according to my podiatrist, the next step is custom made orthotics. This is the best product, best quality, most recommended foot sole support out there.

Pleasantly surprised

I have had a lot of shoe inserts promise to relieve foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain. None ever delivered. It was a pleasant surprise to realize that after a few weeks of using the SOLE inserts, I was walking further and enjoying it more. I'd love to be able to get SOLE inserts for every pair of shoes that I own!

I had a Norton's neuroma in my left foot & was in pain. I got these for my running shoes . I also wear the sole flip-flops indoors & these together have helped to the point I feel like it's gone.

Less fatigue and foot pain

I have been replacing my factory insoles with SOLE products for a couple years now. More recently I am using the versions with metatarsal support. These insoles allow me to work longer with less fatigue and foot pain. My oldest pair are just now cracking and showing their age, pretty good considering they are at least 3 years old.

Heel spurs.

SOLE orthotic/inserts are designed such that they alleviate my chronic, severe heel pain from heel spurs/plantar fasciitis when nothing else has worked. Great product for cycling shoes.

This is the second pair of thin soles I have purchased. I have nephropathy in my feet. I.e. painful for me to walk a lot. I used the first pair in my cycle shoes. They work great allowing me to ride much longer distances. The sole really spreads the load across the whole foot and removes the pressure points of the cleat on the peddle. I have moved the old ones to my boots and put the new ones in my new cycle shoes. Excellent product. I prefer them to my expensive custom orthodics.

Every pair of shoes I own have had SOLE inserts for the last two years. I have two problems with my feet - Morton's Neuroma and Plantar Fasciitis. I found some specialized shoes that greatly alleviated my foot pain, but they were not only bordering on hideous, but also tremendously expensive. Then I found SOLE inserts with Met pads. Now I can buy whatever shoe I want, and by the magic of SOLE, have the same level of pain relief I got from my plain (to speak kindly) and expensive specialty shoes. The fact that SOLE is made from recycled cork is icing on the environmental cake.

Supreme comfort and support

My podiatrist recommended these to me and in fact sold me my first pair. At 290 lbs I'm not a little guy and I wear size 13/14 extra wide shoes. I have flat feet. These insoles solve many problems for me. They give me arch support and provide much needed cushioning. I don't consider them a luxury but a necessity for my health. I can tell when it's time for a new pair by the pain in my feet. Oh yeah, while they're working I'm walking pain free. I've tried other brands and nothing else comes close. These are the best. If this doesn't fix your feet, according to my podiatrist, the next step is custom made orthotics. This is the best product, best quality, most recommended foot sole support out there.

A sole with soul

I saw this insole with met pad and wondered if it was better for me than the regular SOLE insoles. I have tried thick and thin, active and performance over the years but not the met pad until now. I was a little unsure how a met pad would feel but I found out that it is comfortable for my flat feet. It is not too much different than the regular insole but provides a little extra support for the middle of the foot. If you are experiencing pain in that area the met pad is worth a try. It isn't big enough to hurt but is noticeable as a little support under the foot, a slightly different feel, just like having more arch support compared to flat insoles. For me the SOLE insoles work as well as a custom orthotic, and for the same cost of one custom orthotic I can put a SOLE insole in each pair of shoes I have.

Walking Again Pain Free

I went to the doctor with pain on the side of my foot that was diagnosed as tendinitis and advised to get SOLE inserts. Since we had an upcoming beach vacation I purchased these slides. Tried prescription orthodics for a couple of years after using SOLE footbeds, and my foot pain actually increased. Went back to the SOLE footbeds and glad I did. My foot pain will never go away but SOLE has made life more comfortable.

Supportive and protective

I have had the SOLE brand insoles in my footwear since I purchased a pair of Redwing boots a few years ago. I discovered the amazing support needed for me was established from the inside not the outside. I did some research to find the SOLE brand was the real source of the insole. I purchased my first pair of active Soles about 6 months later for my sneakers and basically eliminated all of my foot pain. It doesn't matter how inexpensive the shoes are as long as I have my Soles to support my feet I am good to go. I have also recently discovered another important quality about SOLE; because of the thickness they have saved my foot on 2 occasions from a roofing nail. They both penetrated my shoes only to stop short of my foot because of the SOLE footbed. I would definitely recommend the purchase for every shoe you wear.

Life Saver

As a longtime customer, I purchased 2 pairs of flips this time as my well worn ones I've had for 8-10 years are relegated to the backyard patio and pool. The Sport Flips (as usual) are extremely comfortable to wear right out of the package, and can be worn all day. The Casual Cork flips are a bit uncomfortable as my low arch tends to dig into the hard cork with little give, but I'm sure this is only temporary as they break-in. On a positive note I'm sure they will keep their shape a bit longer and support my foot better...plus they look amazing. Unrelated to this recent purchase, I also use a variety of the footbeds, and although I'm not an avid runner, I'm on my feet all day and could not imagine how much pain and fatigue I'd be in without using SOLE products.

My SOLE Flips!

I'm a 56 year old male. 6'-6" weighing 250 lbs. I bought two pairs of Sport Flips in different colors and a pair of Beach Flips. I love them all! They provide great support for my feet. I like to go for walks on hot summer nights and my feet are no longer tired after walks! Morning foot pain is reduced substantially (or pretty much GONE) after having walked the night before. Healthy Solution

I have been using SOLE inserts for many years and recommend them to anyone I know or meet who is having foot or knee issues. I purchased the thins for a new pair of low hikers that do not have the room for a midweight. The reason I call these a healthy solution as I have a knee that used to give me a lot of pain when I was hiking, jogging or walking. A friend recommended trying the SOLE insert, problem solved. Since that first pair of inserts, I now use the SOLE insert in all my footwear and also find the SOLE sandals equally effective.

I could walk again

I was running on the beach playing frisbee when all of a sudden I couldn't walk on my left foot and had excruciating pain. I had to hobble around on my tippy toes. After going to the Orthopedic, he recommended that the first thing I should do is get SOLE inserts made for plantar fasciitis. I went online to look and there were so many options, I was a bit confused. I called Sasha on the service desk and she quickly advised me on the proper insert. I told her I would be leaving town before I would receive them. She quickly guided me to a local dealer, where I went right down and picked up a couple of pairs. Medium and Thin. Finally, a shoe insert that works!

Tried numerous shoe inserts to resolve my foot pain. Found Sole shoe inserts during a Google search. Researched the product and ordered one pair. Sole insert worked for me and helped rid my foot pain. I ordered 3 more pairs for my different shoes. When my daughters had foot pain issues from soccer I ordered both girls Sole inserts. Both girls are pain free. I ended up ordering the Sole slip on sandals and strap on sandals for days I don't want to wear socks but still have my arch and ankle support. I have a BUNCH of Sole and Love Them All

I started wearing and using SOLE products in 2011. My first purchases were insoles and a pair of Sport Flips, then every year or so I purchase some more insoles. I have also purchased a pair of Exhale shoes that I still wear to this date. I turned my wife on to SOLE a few years back and she wore out a pair of the Cork Flips, she also wears the insoles. So here's the deal. I have extreme over pronation of one foot. SOLE products allowed me to survive 4 years without surgery. I had corrective surgery, terrible, terrible surgery for PTTD. It was brutal. My foot is somewhat better but still painful. SOLE products continue to provide the support that I need to continue living an active life. I would not be without my SOLE footwear or insoles. As I write this I have a pair of Sport Slips from 2013 (that are just about wore out) that I am wearing, and in a bit when I put my hiking boots on my feet will sit on some SOLES. Highly Recommend

I just wanted to share my amazing experience w/ sole insoles. I have had plantar fasciitis for 10 yrs. My old podiatrist retired 5 years ago. Each year I keep getting custom made orthos and each year they are made wrong. I have been suffering and relying on steroids. My feet got worse and then I developed achilles tendonitis & extensor tendonitis. Even my gastrocnemius muscle started to spasm. Just got back from a week in Mexico with my new flips and I have to say I love them! Wore them everywhere I went. Awesome footbeds

Moving to New York, I became a public transit commuter walking 4-5 miles every day, not always with the best kind of shoes. Unfortunately, I developed a foot neuroma and a podiatrist recommended custom orthotics. I found these foot beds and decided to try them first. Fantastic quality - useable in all sorts of boots/shoes

I needed an insole with great support and enough warmth to climb up 14,000ft to the top of Mount Rainier. In comparing to other products (Superfeet included) I could tell these were made for durability and would provide greater support. The Superfeet also did not match up with my arch and were very painful. These were fantastic, molded to my foot a little bit and still 2.5 years later are still providing me support in my casual everyday shoes (so yes, they do work in medium volume shoes!). If you need extreme warmth, you might want the insulated products from SOLE. I was standing on a glacier for 3 days so I could tell they soles were getting a little cool from my frozen plastic mountaineering boot, but overall, these are fantastic for skiing, moderately cold mountaineering and anything else (such as everyday wear). They will last you years and years of continued abuse.

Best arch support ever

I found these from a review on Amazon about my normal Orthaheel shoes. The reviewer felt these were much better, which sounded hard to believe to me. So I was shocked when I tried these on to learn that they ARE better than any shoe I've ever tried. (A lot!) these are better than orthaheel because not only do they have perfect arch support but they allow for that natural place under the toes that also needs support, the heel bed is deep enough to support proper ankle position also. An old ankle injury and severe plantar fasciitis is getting amazing relief since wearing these shoes. I love them and I bought 4 (don't judge me ;) foot pain relief is no joke!) I have 1 pair for outside shoes, 1 pair for inside shoes (we don't wear outside shoes in the house) and an extra backup for each in case these get discontinued like happens sometimes. Brilliant design!

Great plantar faciitis relief:

I have planter faciitis and have used inserts with the jelly soft spot under the heel coupled with an arch support but they were not nearly aggressive enough. I looked at "Your soles" insert and liked the aggressive arch, tried them and immediately felt relief from the pain even though they lack the jell at the heel. My plantar faciitis improves each day I wear them. My only fear is that they may be accommodating my foot too well lessening the plantar fascia relief. Should I have done the oven treatment only, to preserve their original shape? I am seriously thinking of purchasing the sandals, just wish they had a model with more toe protection!

I have extremely flat feet and pronation, which causes foot pain, knee pain and especially lower back pain. I have been fighting back pain since I broke my back a year ago April. A month ago I came down with plantar fascia strain which I have had 4 times in the last 10 years. The last two weeks I could hardly walk without excruciating pain. Foot pains

I have normal arches in both feet but I developed bilateral plantar fasciitis in late 2012 due to the use of a pair of work shoes which did not flex in the metatarsophalangeal area. I decided to give these SOLE Softec Ultra Footbeds a try. I felt some pain relief on the third day. Pains were completely relieved after 3 months of use. I now use these insoles in my work shoes, tennis shoes and running shoes. I do not go out without them even after I have been pain free for almost 2 years. I have 6 pairs of the Softec Ultras. Plantar fasciitis + Squash

Might sound crazy to spend half as much the price of a performance athletic shoe for an insole, but there is nothing better that I've found on the market for managing/preventing foot pain like Plantar fasciitis. Best work shoes I've ever owned

I am a waiter and I also run ultra marathons for fun. Sole flip slops have been the only product I've found to help relieve my foot pain (most often, Plantar Fasciitis). The only time I spend good money on a shoe is for my running, but I have never found a comfortable work shoe. I took a gamble on these and they were totally worth it! I wear a size 9 normally (size 9 1/2 in my trail shoes) but I took the sole reps recommendation and went with a size 10. They're a little loose, but I feel the 9 probably would've been too tight. Anyways, These are awesome. They feel like I'm wearing flip flops at work and they look professional too! My feet have never been happier, I wish I would've looked into these a long time ago. The BEST!!!

I have tried other insoles and none have been as comfortable as these! Don't waste your money on any other footbeds, these are the BEST on the market and their customer service is second to none!! Since wearing these my plantar foot pain and knee problems have gone away. I even bought a pair of soft house mocassins and put a pair of insoles in them to wear when working in the kitchen or doing housework and now I can work for hours with no pain on hard surfaces. I do not bake them in the oven because they feel better brand new and they will form to your foot after a week.

I have had my Softec Ultra's for about 2 years now, and they have had a dramatic impact on my feet. I play roller derby and skate on a size 4.5 Riedell boot. The women's size 7 fits perfect in my boot with just a tiny bit of trimming along the toes to fit width. FINALLY - After 25 Years.

It's true. Great Flips!

These flips are awesome.. they are the only flips I have that I can wear an entire day walking without foot pain, particularly in my arches. Yes.. the web over the top of the foot is a little tight to begin with, but over time as you break them in they offer a perfectly snug fit that I can wear with confidence in a variety of terrains without losing a flip.

Over the past three years I have been from Walmart to Footsmart buying inserts to help with my foot pain; I even purchased two differnt types of custom inserts. I'm a Diesel Mech and stand on concrete all day in boots. Had no support. I bought a pair of Softec Ultra because my daily plantar pain was killing me from first step out of bed and any time i would stand up I would limp because of pain. I did everything the doctor said except buy 350.00 special orthos.My daughter is in the army and told me about soles they all use them to run. They have great support. Suffered with plantar fasciitis for several years, got so bad I couldn't walk. Finally went for PT and other treatments with the possiblity of surgery if pain did not improve. Purchased $500 orthotics, but still suffered some discomfort, with tightness in the heel/foot every morning and intermittent discomfort/pain while up. Recently, I started to get severe pain in both feet again, somedays it hurt so bad it was difficult walking, and this was with my custom orthotics. I was ready to go back to the doctor and PT, when I remembered I had bought these SOLE soles just before I got my orthotics so I never really used them. I put the SOLES in my work boots and within three days my pain was almost completely gone. A month or so later, I am 100% pain free in both feet and absolutely no pain/stiffness/tightness in the morning. I have to believe these SOLES gave me this relief. 12 hours on my feet running around a very busy ER and no more back/ foot pain. I've tried many pairs of insoles over the last 20+ years but these are by far the best. I was starting to get plantar fasciitis, bought these my feet stopped hurting. Then i noticed that my low back wasn't hurting as much. Best Insoles ever

Hi I had a mid foot fusion some 10 months ago, and as a Physiotherapist who knows which insoles should work and not only help my problem but other patients problems, I was blown away at how much pain relief and support the sole insoles have given me. I can now walk 4 miles in minimal pain after only 6 weeks of using them in my neutral trainers. I have now started issuing them at our military base for service personnel and every user had come back and made exactly the same positive remarks. I would highly recommend these insoles to anyone.

Hi, My name is Chad Snyder from Bent Mountain Va. Being a big guy 6'2" and 300 lbs, 40 years old and very active I am hard on my feet to say the least. For the last year I have suffered badly with plantar fasciitis in my left foot. About two weeks ago I purchased a pair of Sole Ultra moldable footbeds for my boots. Rather than heating them to get a fit I simply put them in my boots and went on my way. Within three days virtually ALL of the pain in my left foot was gone! After two weeks I can't remember what it felt like to have that excruciating pain when I took my first steps of the morning. I've read the other reviews and agree. there isn't anything better. I 'had' plantar faciatis. I had a knee replaced. I had a lot of foot pain. I got 3 pair of these and put them in my shoes. Switched them for whatever insoles come with the shoes, and there's always a noticeable improvement. The insoles that come with most any shoe you buy is the cheapest part of the shoe, yet is what you need for good support. Go figure. These are great and will be the only insoles I use...

I took the plunge and have never been more satisfied with my decision

I actually purchased my SOLE sandals while vacationing. I was looking for a pair of Reef sandals when the sales representative suggested your sandals for a little more money. I took the plunge and have never been more satisfied with my decision. I have had problems with pain in the ball of my foot area. Since getting these sandals (which before this time I would not wear flip flops) I no longer experienced the pain while wearing my sandals so now I wear them daily. If I could get away with it I would wear them to work, but I can't so, I then decided to purchase some of your footbeds. The problem I had was that my shoes range from a 9.5 to a 10.5 (depending on the style and make). Fortunately I purchased the same size of my sandals (10) and they fit perfectly into the 3 different pairs of shoes. I have since recommended them to a couple of my friends who also purchased footbeds and sandals.

5 years + and still working.

I bought these inserts because I was diagnosed with plantar faciitis. It was very painful and the doctor recommended these. I molded them to my feet and immediately felt relief. I have had the same pair for the last five years and they are still working. I put them in whatever shoes or sneakers that I am wearing after removing the inserts that come with the shoes. I am on my feet all day working and walking back and forth on cement floors. These inserts saved me from constant pain. The top layer is finally wearing thin after all these years so I am going to get another pair. I highly reccommend them to everyone with foot or knee pain.

Foot And Knee Problems??

I run 5 miles a day and after many years of doing this I began having extreme foot pain and knee pain so bad that it stopped me from running. The Dr. diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my knees. He said my feet would heal by itself in due time but to stay off my feet, but I need to learn to live with the pain in my knees. I did for a while but it didn't improve at all. I finally tried these foot beds and in under a week both problems disappeared completely. I will never wear shoes without them again. I Love them. I have tried many other brands, but have never had the success that I had with Sole

After experiencing chronic foot pain (gout, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and cramping brought on by limping from a severe hamstring injury) my podiatrist recommended Sole inserts. It took a couple of months, but all my foot problems went away. This was about 10 years ago. I have tried many other brands, but have never had the success that I had with Sole. A lot people have recommended Superfeet and I have tried them. I don't think there is anything wrong with the other brands, its just that for me personally Sole is the most comfortable and gives me the best results. I buy enough pairs in different thicknesses to put in the shoes that I wear most often. And I have a couple pairs in different thicknesses that I transfer from shoe to shoe as needed. I should mention that I am a big hiker. I go 2 miles every morning and go on 4 to 8 hour hikes about once or twice a week. Depending on the hike and the weather, I use heavy duty Vasques, lightweight Patagonia, sandals from either Teva or Keen and hiking boots from Keen. I wear the inserts with everything except Chaco sandals. I have also worked as a lift operator at ski areas and have always worn inserts in my snow boots. Bumping chairs all day is really brutal on your feet. You stand on the ball of your foot and lift your heel. As the people sit down, you bump the chair and let it spin you around, so you see the takeoff. When you see that no one has fallen out you must spin back around for the next chair. This is repeated every 5 to 7 seconds. I never had one bit of foot problem.

First I'd like to say that your insoles ROCK!� I tore my plantar fascia a few years ago and in addition to that have always had foot pain of some kind when hiking, whether 5 miles or multi-day and I never thought I'd be able to hike without worrying about how my feet would feel afterwards.� I purchased the Signature EV Ultra footbed for my hiking boots that will take me backpacking this season and I'm ecstatic about the results as I was literally skipping after my last long hike. I also purchased a couple of Softec Response footbeds for my trail runners that I use for light hiking and general all day walking and a pair of Thin Casuals for my tennis shoes and so far I am amazed; no pain whatsoever.� The pain and discomfort I used to feel everyday from minimal to major is now gone but I do feel it when I don't use the footbeds.� In fact, it's so noticeable that my husband jokes about me having my footbeds when we go somewhere to make sure I can keep up. One comment I have though is that the footbed doesn't exactly fit the shoes.� The shoes and boots are size 6 as are the footbeds, but they're 4/16 short of the end.� I first noticed it on the heel when I slipped the boots on; the footbed had slipped off the back of the heel, so I brought it flush with the heel but then found that the toe now has space.� Since I wear my boots a 1/2 size larger it's not an issue in performance or comfort, but I was just curious if others had mentioned this? Either way I'm keeping all of my footbeds and will definitely purchase more in the future as well as recommending them to all my friends.� Thank you for a great product!

I bought my first pair of Sole Sandals - the sport slide. It won't be my last pair - they are awesome. I have struggled with plantar fasciitis for 7 years. Unfortunately, the podiatrist I was seeing didn't treat my condition properly. After enduring too much pain, I found another podiatrist and had foot surgery in February 2010. About a month ago, I started experiencing excruciating heel pain. I had been told that I would still experience pain for about 6 months. But this was a different sensation & wasn't getting better, so I went to my doctor yesterday. He said my bone was severely bruised and that it would take about 2 months to heal and I needed physical therapy. He also told me to make sure I was wear good shoes even around the house. I didn't want to wear my athletic shoes or dress shoes in the house; yet, my house slippers weren't providing enough support & it hurts to go barefooted. So I googled heel pain and treatments & found a website that recommended your sandals. I went to your website, found a local retailer and bought them today. So this long winded email to say... thank you!! I had relief immediately. It doesn't hurt so bad to just walk. A bone spur on my left foot can cause me a lot of pain when I run too much( about 20 miles per week outdoors)- However I went to my Dr. and he recommended this product. Ironically I ran a 10k race 2 days after my purchase and I have to tell I'm impressed. I should have road tested them prior to the race but I figured what the heck do I have to loose other than the race. I am a Physician Assitant deployed to Iraq right now and we have a stock of Sole inserts and they have been a Godsend. Long Lasting cusion and high arch support.

In the last couple of years, foot and ankle pain have set me back. I'd been going back and forth to the podiatrist, getting new casts for custom orthodics, walking on the gel for a high tech casting for orthodics, etc. Everything always came back with the arch starting in the middle of my heel and giving me no arch support. I have size 14 feet and I think the shoe companies imagine people with bigger feet still have their arches in the same spot as little feet. Anyway, I got a new Podiatrist who is the favorite of the Northwest Ballet. He recommended Softec Ultras. They've made a huge difference. The arch started at the edge of my heal but it molded to me just fine. I didn't use the oven for fear the arch would fall a bit, I just let them mold to me over time, which they did nicely. They have the feeling of a brand new pair of Asics Gel Nimbus, but with a higher arch and more cushion. They last longer than the Asics standard 3 months. I've had these in my Asics for about 9 months and the Asics were about 3 months old when I put in the Softec Ultras. Which brings up the thought that the Asics don't wear out so fast, the Asic footbeds are what wears out. They really helped with my, sitting, standing, ankle-knee-hip board work, walking, and drumming endurance. Life is a lot better than I thought it would be by now.

Great insoles save 1 tiny thing

These insoles are incredible. They mold EXACTLY to your foot when you mold them as per the instructions and stand normally as you would daily. Do not attempt to correct your posture too much as you will cause some pain in your knees etc, so remail natural. My only complaint, which isn't a complaint b/c I didn't think it through when I purchased them....they stink after a while. So if the stench of your feet is offensive, get the moisture wicking version (which I plan to buy next time)

Thanks to these, I'm finally healing

After hiking for months with a heavy pack, I developed a pain in my left sole so extreme I thought I was walking on a broken foot. The doc diagnosed me with a plantar fasciitis, and said it would heal on its own as soon as I kept weight off it. But it didn't. It got better, it got worse, time and again, even after I got rid of the pack. Normal day to day walking was enough to set recovery back. I put these in my daily-wear boots and within the week I was certain that the healing had finally started. The arch support these provide made the difference. It's been a month now and most days I forget that anything had ever gone wrong. It might be another two months before the wound is completely repaired, but I haven't had a single bad day with it since getting these.

I bought these yesterday as I live in Europe and walk a lot. Add to that I am a teacher and often carry a lot of books with me going from one place to another. Often, at the end of the day, my left foot is killing me. After only one day, I can seemingly tell the difference already. It's almost the end of the day and I have no pain. If I can figure out a way to get them, I'm going to try the Sport version in my two pair of cycling shoes and then possibly my running shoes as well.

I have never had foot problems my entire life; but recently have been diagnosed with the very painful Plantar Fasciitis. i've just ended my first days work with my new sole innersoles in my steel toecaped booots and can hand on heart say there the best thng i bought myself in years,ive spent hundreds of pounds on other innersoles from shops and off ebay trying to ease the pain in my foot and knees, after having them in my boots for 8 hours iv noticed my left foot is not aching and i noticed my knees are not aching throuh them grinding, i ony hope the pain relief continues. i hope i can get a pair for my training shoes and 1 day be able to go back the gym pain free

My physical therapist recommended these Sole footbeds while treating me for arthritis in my knees. He noted that I have high arches, and felt that these inserts might help with my foot pain as well as my knee pain. I was very skeptical as I had been fitted for custom orthotics by a podiatrist several years ago, and those inserts only added pain to the balls of my feet, for a cost of $300! But I tried these Sole inserts anyway. Unbelievable! The relief was so immediate, and has continued on. We just took a three week trip, and spent much time walking in New York City. Great investment

I was in so much pain while training for a marathon that I went to a podiatrist. He fitted me with stiff, custom orthotics to manage arthritis in my foot and told me not to run again. When I quizzed him about exercise, he told me that if an exercise did not cause discomfort, I was free to pursue it. Thus emboldened, I decided to see whether Sole inserts for my moderate-support running shoes would let me continue running. They were a breeze to mold, are far more comfortable than the flimsy inserts that came with the shoes, and--woo hoo!--I can run again without pain. I won't push it, no more than 6-7 miles max, but but being able to continue to indulge in my 40+ year obsession with running is a great gift. I just bought two more pairs for other shoes. Have definitely improved my cycling

SOLE custom footbeds have definitely improved my cycling. i can go on long (greater than 50 mile) road rides without fear of uncomfortable foot pain. i can also tighten my cycling shoes properly, resulting in less movement of my foot inside the shoe, allowing me to pedal and climb much more efficiently. I have had custom orthotics from my foot surgeon but they only provided minimal relief

I have had chronic foot pain since 2001(due to a broken navicular that refuses to heal & fallen arches). I have had custom orthotics from my foot surgeon but they only provided minimal relief. Your product is the ONLY insole that I have found that not only lessened the pain but actually has made my foot feel progressively better each day I wear it. I gave the insoles 2 weeks of constant wear before I contacted you, just to make sure they were really helping. Now I have been telling everyone at my job about them! I am a Naval Flight Officer, and bought these inserts to put in my flight boots. By far one of the betrter footwear decisions I've ever made. The inserts got me through a deployment to Afghanistan and are about to go for a second. The inserts made my boots infinitely more comfortable and have virtually eliminated my foot and knee pain from walking on unfinished surfaces. Best $$ spent on flip flop sandals to date

I was diagnosed with sesamoiditis in addition to being completely flat footed. Therefore most shoes without backs or without sturdy bottoms irritated my toes. My condition improved over the last few months by wearing support shoes (e.g. Danskos), but I was going to need something for summer. I am a flip flop wearer, without a doubt, and was having a hard time deciding if I was going not wear flip flop sandals all summer or suffer through the pain. fantastic product

I was a little skeptical that this product would help with my plantar fasciitis, but I thought I'd give it a try. I don't run as much as Dean Karnazes does (obviously), but recently after upping my mileage to about 25 miles per week I developed some severe pain in the heel and bottom of my right foot. I made an appointment with a podiatrist but wasn't able to get in for 2 weeks. So in the meantime I ordered a pair of these insoles. Shipping was very fast and after convincing my wife that I wasn't nuts, I put these in the oven and gave them a try. After no running at all for 2 weeks, I put these in my running shoes and went out for a 4 mile run. There was very minimal foot pain. Two days later, I went for a 6 mile run with no pain at all. Now I'm getting close to the 25 miles per week and am still having no issues. The longest I've run with these so far is 11 miles with no foot discomfort at all. These insoles are fantastic and I will definitely purchase another pair once these wear out. Thank you, Sole!

Very painful case of Plantar Fasciitis

I have had a persistent and very painful case of Plantar Fasciitis for almost two years. It got so bad that I finally gave in and had surgery a little over a month ago. The pain was back almost immediately so I began my regime of buying every product that promised to help. I am so thankful that my first purchase was a pair of Sole foot beds. I can work out, walk and be on my feet all day

Please explain your foot-related problems prior to purchase: A. I could hardly walk as my feet were putting out the alighment of my knees(and the rest of my body). I was sent to Poditarists and had more than one pair of orthotics made. some of them helped a bit but a lot of them made it so I could hardly walk at all and had so much more pain.This was very costly also. Then I went to a Chiropracter who works on pressure points. It is a total different way of alighning ones body. When I stated seeing my Chiropracter I stopped wearing my orthopics as I would just be put into balance and my orthopics would put me right out of sorts again. But I needed something and as I had been trying out the SOLE INSOLES, I started to wear them daily. It is hard to get the thinner insoles, as Work World's mainly sell the thick ones. So thanks to the staff from Sole in Calgary for mailing me out a pair of red Soles. I can work out, walk, and be on my feet all day and my legs get tired but I do not have the knee pain as the knee is getting stronger. The doctors kept telling me I was just getting old and to expect the pain and knees going. But I kept thinking NO they are wrong. There has to be something out there and it is such a simple thing, A insole that works. More people have to learn not to give up when they are in pain and in there heart know that there knees are turning in because of the way there feet are or there back or hips or neck or so many parts of the body hurt or you are taking pain killers just to get through the day. Begin at your Feet and if at first you are not getting any leadway, don't give up. Keep trying. Go to the Sole Site, or just try a pair, often the body has to be put into alighment first then with the insoles life will begin. And I feel the insoles should be sold in some shoe stores. Often the sales clarks get to know your feet. Find a establised store and get to know them like you do a Doctor.

Couldn't Skate Without Them

These footbeds are tremendous! I have a pair in my CCM hockey skates and my K2 inlines, and I cannot imagine ever skating without them again. They have improved my ice skating by giving me more power and a much better feel for the ice; and have aleviated the foot pain I used to experience after only a few miles on inline skating. I can't wait for the coming spring as I plan to skate my first marathon in May.

I was having alot of pain in the arch of my foot for 7 or 8 months. I went to the docter and I was told that I had flat feet and was suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. He wanted me to get prescription ortho's. After being looked at by the Physical Therapist he recommened that I give the Sole Softec Regulars a try. Far Exceeded my Expectations

My company moved to a new building in June 2008. The floor are hard concrete. I began having foot pain(plantar fasciitis) in my right foot. After a few months I began to walk with a limp and by the end of my shift my ankle was swelling and in alot of pain. The price was reasonable. I felt I would try this before paying hundreds of dollars on custom orthotics. Having two coworkers highly recommend the product also played a big role. After wearing the footbeds for two weeks, I no longer was limping around at work. I could walk normal. Before I was trying to walk without my heel touching the ground because the pain was so great. After a month of wearing the footbeds, my ankle no longer swelled. After 5 weeks, I no longer had to wear my ankle brace. This product far exceeded my expectations.

i had sesamoiditis in my right foot... underneath my big toe. i'm addicted to tennis, so this was a serious problem, and it just refused to heal... i finally started looking into getting a custom orthotic, but i don't have the best health insurance right now, so the cost would have been a bit much. i did some research online, and your insoles were recommended on a message board. i order a pair of DK insoles and they were amazing. I ordered a second pair, and i don't wear shoes unless i have them in there. My foot isn't completely healed yet, but I've made a lot of progress since i started using the SOLE DK and i experience no pain or discomfort at all while i'm wearing them. i absolutely love your product. the DKs are awesome. i will definitely buy a few more and have wholeheartedly recommended them to a few people.

I have plantar fasciitis. I require custom orthotics, but insurance companies suck swampwater. My custom orthotics fell apart so I tried the Sole brand insoles after finding them in the PX. I am now pain free once again

I am a 52 year young runner here in the desert of Arizona. I have been running since high school and still enjoy the competition of road, track and trail running. I win or place in my age group most of the time. Yes, I have had my down times. Some due to over training and some due to "I'll just sleep a little longer." SOLE results in less fatigue

Wobble-naught CAD fitting & Myo-facts sEMG/Dartfish use Sole as a bio-feedback device. We want all our dealers to use them. Misaligned joints are very common in fitting business. Sole assist our CAD to correct alignment issues, providing pain relief & wear and tear to the body. With the correct bike setup, Sole footbeds allows the cyclists to get on the pedal stroke early and stay on it longer. We suggest the Sole due to its ability to mold to the needs of many different shoe types. You get a better inteface of shoe and human foot. The electrical activity of muscles responding to nevous stimuli during human movement can be monitored with our technique call electromyography (EMG). We measure in millionths of a volt (microvolts)! The greater the intensity of contraction, or tension, the greater the electrical output. The sEMG can also reveal the declining output as muscular fatigue takes place. Without Sole, the muscles don't fire as well, and faster fatigue is the result. With the Sole, the results are the muscles start firing better and fatigue less, and pedal performance comes forth!

I've sold a pile of sandals

As a Specialty Footwear Retailer, I have access to virtually every shoe on the market. When Sole decided to launch the Platinum Sandal, I was very sceptical of an $80 sandal. I love my SOLEs

I love my SOLES! My plantar faciitis is much better. I have had it for two years and have tried many different orthotics and wraps. Now, I only notice foot pain when I wear dress shoes that cannot handle the SOLES. Keeping my arch in the correct position has enabled me to be on my feet much longer without pain. The dress SOLES have enabled me to use good arch support in most of my shoes.

After heat molding, the footbeds fit my feet perfectly

I recently purchased the Sole footbeds and placed them in a pair of walking shoes. I have a problem with Plantar Fasciitis of the heel. Since placing the Sole footbeds into my shoes and doing a few exercises the pain in my foot began to disappear. I heated the Soles in the oven at 200 deg F as per directions. I wish I had found these sooner

I just recently beat a bad case of plantar fasciitis using cortisone shots and rehab. I was also fitted for a pair of custom orthotics to help prevent a recurrence. However, due to their rigid composition, they don't fit in all of my shoes. As a result of this, I decided to buy a pair of the SOLE Softec Ultra footbeds to use as a substitute in those shoes. I've used SuperFeet, SofSol, and Hapad in the past in an attempt to alleviate general foot pain caused by standing or walking too much, but none of them ever seemed to help. Therefore, my expectations weren't very high for the SOLE footbeds...I figured I would be satisfied if all they gave me were some extra arch and heel support to help keep the plantar fasciitis at bay. However, after a couple of long days on my feet, I realized that not only had these footbeds given me the extra support I was looking for, but they also made a significant difference in the amount of general foot pain caused by too much time on my feet. A great product that can be worn out of the box

I have used many off-the-shelf arch supports over the past ten years as an Orthotist for residents of Kansas. These people are soldiers and I see a variety of foot types. I average about 90 patients per week with approximately 70% having foot related problems. Most of these problems are associated with hyper-mobile joints of the foot causing a flattened arch. With most shoes or boots this flattened arch position is present due to inadequate insoles that are not conformed to every persons feet. I can stand and walk without crying or pain

I bought my first pair on Valentine's Day and my second pair of Sole Orthotics last month as a spare to use in my gardening shoes. I was diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma and I had severe pain while trying to stand and walk and couldn't wear any pair of shoes without whimpering. After getting 3 injections in my foot with no relief, I was finally given the name of Fit-Right Northwest to obtain a special pair of shoes. I ended up getting a pair of Brooks with a wider box. We can now do things that involve walking

My Husband doesn't type, so he told me to send this. Your insoles have been a God send. I prayed for him to get help. He could only work about 2 hours a day. His foot hurt so bad in the morning that he almost had to hop. Now he can work 5+ hours and doesn't hardly limp. It is night and day different. He used to say his foot was killing him. These insoles are better than sex

I wanted you to know that these insoles are better than sex. In the past year or so my feet have been killing me, my face probably looked like a prune with the pain, due only in part to high arches and insteps and over pronation of the left foot, due to poor fitting and non supporting athletic shoes by inexperienced shop staff. However, I had tried spenco and superfeet, the latter being ok, but not having any metatarsal cushioning. Now to sole orthotics, I bought a pair 3 days ago, and the relief was immediate. I now find myself running up stairs rather than creeping up like a crab to the hip pain; Enough said. "The best and better than sex" should be your slogan. We use a lot less Motrin now!

I want to add another sport to your list - soccer. These SOLE inserts have been great to put in my teenagers' soccer cleats. They both experienced a lot of heel pain from running in cleats all of the time & we've found that even the best soccer cleats just don't give good support. The SOLE inserts have totally eliminated the foot pain that was just part of the soccer season for them. We use a lot less Motrin now!

I purchased a pair of the heatable soles yesterday on the advice of my orthopedic surgeon. Here is some background about me. I have worked in a factory for 30 years. My feet are shot!! I have arthritis in both feet and ankles. I have fallen arches so badly that I have had to have foot fusion on the right foot. I now have a 3 inch screw from my heel to my ankle. I have had joint replacement on the great toe of the left foot. I also have had polio as a child. I have lived with foot pain for over 35 years....until NOW! I worked all day today and I have NO PAIN in my right foot at all. My left one is sore because I had surgery just four weeks ago. This is a real miracle for me. A year ago my feet looked like a war zone.

A year ago my feet looked like a war zone. The week between long runs wasn't enough to remedy the huge blisters I was getting on the sides of my feet and under many of my toes. The toes on the right foot suffered and the side of my left foot never could callus! My friend Jane kept talking about her magic socks - I'd tried everything - body glide, alcohol soaks - you name it. So I went to my local running store, Colorado Running Company and told Alicia I wanted some magic socks because Jane swore by them. She knew exactly what I was talking about. I'm a type II insulin dependent diabetic and have been for over 40 years so I have "very sensitive feet". Also while trail running last October I jumped over a down tree and landed on a broken glass bottle. I gashed the ball of my right foot. It took several weeks to heal and I still get some "burning and pain" on the ball of my right foot.
