Amazing footbeds Helped Me Heal
I sprained my ankle many years ago & re-sprained the same ankle badly again in 2022. My food doctor recommended custom orthotics & physio. As I was unable to afford the custom orthotics he suggested that I try SOLE footbeds for my shoes and to wear them inside as well as outside. I was absolutely amazed at the difference the SOLE footbeds made for me & within a few months I was no longer in constant pain when walking. I was so impressed that I bought pairs of SOLE's for my husband & son as gifts.

Perfect for soccer cleats
My 11 yo has super flat feet which cause his ankles to roll in and leads to other leg pains. He needs inserts to keep his legs in alignment, and the SOLE brand works for him. The support is firm, so it lasts, and these thin footbeds work in his soccer cleats, too.

SOLE comfort
Taking the dog for walks and for park play I find that I am not experiencing any problems or pain in my feet or ankles. This product is very affordable and I highly recommend the SOLE footbeds. I have them in both of my walking shoes.

Great support
I struggle with ankle pain that makes stair climbing painful. I’ve found that wearing these footbeds go a long way to reducing that pain

best footbeds ever
My wife uses these in her workout shoes. makes a world of difference for her ankle and knee pain.

Versatile and Comfortable
The active thin foot bed with mat pad are the foot beds that I have in all my shoes. Because of their low volume I can wear them in dress shoes or runners. The zero drop and arch support provide everything I need to participate in any activity. These foot beds, completely removed my plantar fasciitis, helped with alignment, and even helped alleviate pain in my ankles, knees, and lower back. I can’t recommend these enough!

Love these footbeds
My feet are very happy! I am really enjoying pain free feet. I had a bunion that these footbeds fixedI also have knee pain that these footbeds have helped. I notice a big difference when I don’t use them. I recommend them to anyone who has issues with their feet, ankles, knees or hips.

Hunter Rust
Great support
I have bad ankles and I am on my feet all day for my job so I come home with my feet and ankles in pain but ever since I bought these I have had little to no pain

Brennan
Excellent for ski boots
I used these to replace the factory insoles in my K2 ski boots. Noticeable upgrade in support for my ankles and knees!

Feedback on Active Thin with Met Pad, Men's 8 / Women's 10
Not sure if it's the product's fault or if I chose the wrong one, but I find the met pad in the ankle boots that I wear them in hurt my feet. Possibly I don't need the met pad feature.

Footbeds relieved foot pain
It's only been 10 days since I've been wearing these, and they've already relieved my foot, ankle and knee pain that was caused by a fallen arch. The shipping was very quick - they arrived two days after I placed my order, which was great.

Bobbi Roach
Absolutely amazing!
I had terrible ankle pain from walking on concrete all day. After around a week with these insoles the pain is gone

Injury
I tore some ligaments in my ankle last year and have had trouble with pain there ever since. My physical therapist recommended this brand and it has helped immensely! I plan to get a pair for all of my shoes :)

Saved my feet
I’ve had bunions and a bad ankle for years. These were getting worse but I’ve totally fixed my ankle and my bunions haven’t gotten worse since using these. I now have them in every pair of shoes and have been using them for probably 10 years. They last a long time too! I think I still have the original ones I bought. I love that they come in wide too now. I have really wide feet.

Winter work boots
I have been using SOLE footbeds for a year or so. They hold up good. They really help with tired, sore, wore out feet and ankles. Try them, You may really like them.

Sooo Impressed!
My husband ordered his first pair of soles for his work boots about a year ago and raved about them. I wasn't necessarily convinced they were as amazing as he said until he bought me my first pair as a Christmas gift. I immediately felt great relief in my arches and ankles as soon as I added them to my winter boots. Since receiving the gift of my first pair of SOLE footbeds, I've since purchased two more pairs - another pair of Active Medium with Met Pad for my curling shoes and a pair of Active Thin with Met Pad for my walking/gym shoes. It's easy to say that SOLE has gained lifetime customers with my husband and me! Next, I have my eye on a pair of the flip-flops for summer! ; )

Comfortable
I have foot issues and these footbeds help with the pain in my feet and ankles and give enough support so when I'm not wearing shoes, my feet are in less pain. Customer Service is outstanding.

Great boots for all weather
This is my second pair. I bought a pair last year and I absolutely loved them so bought another in a different color. Keep your toes warm and dry even in the coldest winter weather. The added comfort from the insoles is beyond compare. The shoes are a bit tight to put on around the ankles at first but stretches out later. I am a true 9.5 and size 9 fits perfectly while 10 are a bit loose if you like them looser.

Scott
Goodbye foot pain
I wear these in all my running shoes. They’ve taken care of the foot and ankle issues I usually encountered. The insoles are well-made, long lasting, and comfortable. Highly recommend for foot health.

Saved my feet!!
I started having pain from Plantar Fasciitis about 6 months ago. I paid $500 for custom orthotics. After 3 months of constant pain and going back to the foot doctor after my ankles were hurting. I came across SOLE online. I figured I had nothing to lose!! I wear safety shoes 8-10hrs on concrete flooring. I felt immediate relief. I'm hoping eventually I will be pain free now that I great support. But these were a life saver and I have now bought a pair for all my shoes!!

AMAZING product saved my feet
I am very flat footed. Add to that I had MAJOR ankle surgery on my right ankle (all 3 sides opened up, bone removed, ligaments cut and re aligned, screws in heel area) so it’s safe to say I have daily foot pain. After working all day my foot is stiff and sore like a peg leg. For an active person like myself it wasn’t good. Tried all kinds of creams, pain killers, even other inserts and orthotics…. Today I wore my SOLE inserts for the first time in my steel toed work boots…. It was LIFE CHANGING! After 8 hours on my feet, ladders, hauling heavy items…. NO FOOT PAIN!!! I’ve been home and rested… went to get up and it’s honestly like I have been given a new right foot! I am so thankful for my friend referring me to your company!!! I only wish I would have done it about 4 years ago!!! I can’t even thank you enough for these SOLE inserts…. You have given me my full life back! Thank you doesn’t seem appropriate, I will tell everyone I know about your amazing inserts. Lifetime purchaser here.

Save my feet
I have a difficult plantar problem compounded with weakening ankle ligaments- tried numerous otc and even custom options to no avail. SOLE footbeds have done wonders - feet are very happy now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT and I will be buying some more of them.

Better than my custom orthotics!
I have a pair of these in almost every shoe I wear. They last a long time, keep the knee and ankle pain away and are much more economical than my custom orthotics were. I even have picked up a few pairs of their sandals over the last couple years.

m curtis
great socks!
I have several pairs of the ankle and crew dual layer socks. Socks are used for running, and I was surprised how long they have lasted. I like the ankle socks better than the crew--the tops of the crew are snug.

Mendocino Sport Slide has been great for me
I've loved these sandals for years and just purchased my third pair for use next summer. I have wide, flat feet (hard to fit in sandals) and wear orthotics in shoes. These are great for preventing my plantar fascitis susceptibility so I use them as slippers at night. They make great recovery sandals after exercise. I recently broke my leg and have had tons of swelling in that foot and ankle. While I've always appreciated the adjustability of these, it's been incredibly helpful now. One foot has normal width for me and the other must be opened wider. As my swelling has decreased, I've adjusted tighter again. I wear them during the day in summer at the beach and pool, in the water wading on pebbly/rocky surfaces. Again, I have to be careful to prevent the plantar problems I've had before and wearing these have been a lifesaver, especially if I wear them most of the day. They are very comfortable, with just enough arch support. I highly recommend these!

Brenda
Very Best Footbeds
I ordered the SOLE Active Thick with Met Pad for my husband’s work-boots and he has found tremendous relief from his plantar fasciitis!! He has tried many other insoles but none helped the pain! He is so happy with the SOLE insoles that I am going to order and try them for my bad ankle and knees!

Cathy Hopland
Best footbeds for me
Since using these footbeds in regular footwear, ankle discomfort, due to an old injury has been GREATLY reduced. The arch support is so good for my feet.

Saved my feet!
These are great. I have a bone spur on my ankle causing significant problems. My doc recommended these over prescription orthotics and I have not been disappointed.

Penny Perry
Best foot beds on the market!!
I have been wearing these foot beds since it got too cold for my sandals. They continue to provide me with the perfect support and have eliminated all foot ankle and knee pains. A must to try before spending hundreds on orthotics that did nothing for me!

ESTHER OHERN
So soft!
LOVE the crew and ankle socks dual layer! Most soft and comfortable socks I've ever purchased! Thanks SOLE!! Great customer service as well!

Best Footbeds ever!
I’ve been wearing these for a month after noticing my ankle was supinating. This was causing numbness and unsteady gait. These insoles have replaced the insoles in work and casual shoes. They are a great thickness! Love them! True to size in sneakers but had to size down for casual shoes.

Bought $400 boots and had to add Soles
I bought a pair of Crispi Nevadas for a hunting trip. First time I wore them they killed my ankles, the customer service rep recommended I look at Soles. My local REI has some in stock, I went and tried them out and loved them. I’m fixing to put some more in the square toed boots

Work great in my boots
I used these in my hiking boots as opposed to the thicker ones as my boots are already quite minimalist and snug - these fit perfect. I'm not a fan of over using arch support, but when hiking you definitely need a bit of support going over rough terrain for many kilometers. These work great to prevent my feet pronating too much and causing any issues at the ankle or knees later on.

Raymond Goodin
Great inserts
I've been wearing these about 2 months. They give great support and help prevent my ankles from eversion.

Comfort
Use them every day due to my flat feet and feel less pain in ankles and knees. Very comfortable.

Foot and ankle savers
I was limping in my walking shoes. I went to Reno Orthopedic Clinic and got a shot of cortisone and the recommended SOLE inserts. I could feel the difference immediately. I bought new shoes and another pair of soles. I replaced all my shoes new shoes and bought new soles for each pair. Now when I buy a pair of shoes I order a new pair of soles.

Practically Perfect
My physical therapist convinced me that I should try insoles, but the ones they had samples for in the office weren't a good match for me. My mother used this brand and recommended them. I haven't tried the heat molding yet (POTS issues), but I am 100% pleased with the support they give. Absolutely worth every penny. I've been using them daily for more than a month. It's surprising how much energy I save when my arches are supported and I don't have to consciously think about my ankle position.

Paul A Boeker
Straighten Up Those Ankles
My new Asolo walking shoes almost fit my very narrow feet. But when I realized that my ankles and feet were rotating inward, I tried some SOLE Active Medium footbeds. But they were too thick. So I ordered a pair of SOLE Active Thin footbeds. The heat fit formed these to my feet, but kept the arch high. My ankles and feet are straight again, and my shoes fit so much better. I've walked many miles in them over the last six weeks both over rough terrain and on concrete paths with no foot pain. If these Thin footbeds are as tough as their thicker siblings (and I think they are), they should last for years.
Ann Gilbert
Pretty and practical
I have wide feet and these sandals are perfect. The support is wonderful and difficult to find in a pretty flip flop. I have ankle pain from injuries and wearing these support sandals lessens the pain. Some of my other sandals feel fine when wearing but my ankles hurt after taking them off. That does not happen when I wear these.

Pardeep Heer-Brach
Best insoles out there!
I love everything about these insoles. As someone who is almost 100lbs overweight, my arches started falling and extra pressure on my knees and ankles was causing gait issues and pressure on my joints. These insoles have been instrumental in providing support to my arches, feet and keep my gait aligned without the coddling of medical orthoses. I still want my muscles to work and be strong while I work on slowly losing the weight. These insoles are thin enough to fit into my runners easily and they also provide better support than most other insoles out there!
Marion Weitz
5 stars!!
Excellent design . Excellent craftsmanship. Excellent results. Excellent customer service. How much are your feet worth? My feet bones are connected to my ankle bones all the way up to my neck bones and they all feel better after wearing SOLE shoes and footbeds for about a week. Great Product!
I have had a nagging ankle sprain for quite some time now, and I finally got around to getting some SOLE inserts, as my doctor explicitly recommended SOLE. I wish I had gotten them earlier! I'm on my feet for all of my time at work and they really alleviate a lot of pain that I didn't realize I had for so long. My feet in general aren't as sore after my shift and my ankle hardly has any pain. I, of course do ankle exercises to also help but there was drastic change and relief after having started to use the inserts in my work boots. I would recommend these to anyone that needs arch support for sure!

Kt M
These are great!
I’ve been using these for a couple years. I’ve always needed shoes with extra support but hadn’t found the right inserts. I had some pretty significant foot and ankle pain a couple years ago and saw a podiatrist who recommended these. These help a lot with my pronation, yay

Eugene L Smith
These really helped my ankle.
These insoles have helped my ankle, which is why I bought them originally. As a side benefit, I noticed my knees and hips also improved greatly.

Emily
very comfortable
I had two ankle surgeries and was advised by my physical therapist to get inserts. I was wary of the SOLE inserts because they were a little pricier, but it was worth it. They are so great I went back and bought 3 more for my different needs (and because I'm lazy and don't want to switch them between shoes).

Rebekah Demirel
Thank Goodness!
I'm a martial artist, training and teaching karate and I'm an acupuncturist in private practice. I'd suffered an ankle injury years ago, which was acting up and affecting my knee and lower back and foot beds from the physio therapist were going to cost $400. It was then someone told me about SOLE Footbeds. When my first pair of Active Medium with Met Pad footbeds arrived in their slim, environment conscious packaging, I got them in my shoes and I immediately felt relief and comfort. It took just days for all my pain to disappear! Now I recommend them to all my patients with back or lower extremity joint pain and I wear them in all my shoes. It's been about a year now that I've been wearing the footbeds and I'll keep wearing them forever.

Performance Thin Soles
I purchased two pairs of these insoles for use in ski boots. I purchased one for myself, and one for my wife. My wife and I have put about 20 days and a few short tours on these insoles since buying them in the middle of February and we both love them. My arches have a tendency to hurt after a day of staying on my feet, these insoles have alleviated a lot of that arch pain. My wife broke her ankle a few years back and sometimes complains about pain and the feeling of instability in that ankle especially when we are doing tours. Since using this insole she feels much more supported and a lot of that pain has gone away. As far as performance goes these insoles are a giant leap over the stock insoles we were using in our current boots and not nearly as expensive as custom insoles. They were also easy to install and form, and as you can imagine the more days you put on these the more comfortable they become! Since using these in my ski boots I have plans to buy a pair for my work-boots. Due to the nature of my job I often times end up walking several miles in my work-boots inspecting job sites, which often leads to very sore feet at the end of the day.
C
Awesome
These shoes fit true to size and better because there is no more insert. They look a little more different than what I imagined based on the online photos. They also don't have cushion so when walking it strikes the ground like walking in dress shoes. I have worn them all day and stood with no knee or ankle problems. That was a first for me in over 10 years. I will definitely be buying more of these shoes. One improvement to suggest is adding a softer rear sole if possible.

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!
PRICE IS MY FIRST CONSIDERATION WHEN CONSIDERING A NEW PURCHASE. SOLE ACTIVE THICK WITH MET PAD PREVENTS MY ANKLE SPRAIN, PATELLA FRACTURE, AND HIP REPLACEMENT PAIN! MY PODIATRIST RECOMMENDED YOUR SOLES TO ME 20 YEARS AGO! I HAVE BEEN BUYING YOUR SOLES FOR 20 YEARS! I STARTED PURCHASING SOLE INSERTS WITHOUT MET PADS. I HAD SUCCESS WITH COMFORT AND NOW I PURCHASE ACTIVE THICK WITH MET PADS! TOTAL COMFORT AND SUPPORT! I LIKE THE CORK SOLES THE BEST! WITH SOLE ACTIVE THICK WITH MET PADS I CAN WALK AND HIKE FOR MILES!

No more ankle pain when snowboarding
I was getting horrible ankle pain in my front foot while snowboarding and my trainer told me it was because of my flat feet. The SOLE thin beds fit in my boots perfectly and now I ride all day with no pain!’

Love 'em
SOLE inserts are a great blessing in my life. I'm able to run, hike and walk with comfort because of these wonderful inserts. I have had sprained ankles and have tried a dozen kinds of inserts before I found SOLE. THANK YOU, SOLE!

great support slide
I previously bought the Mateo sport slide and liked the support and comfort it gave, but not fond of how the material stretched out after a couple of months, making them slip off easily. After reading a review about the Mendocino Sport Slide where the person said you could adjust as they stretched, I decided to give these a try. They do help a lot with my ankles as I have broken then several times over in the past and my doctor told me I need to wear support shoes at all times and not to go barefoot. We have hardwood floors at home and before I started wearing these support shoes my ankles always hurt when I wore other types of slippers, now I don't have any pain. I have been wearing a few months and like how they feel on other than the material gets a bit hot like the others did as well, but I would rather have my ankles happy so I will continue with these. I bought my husband a pair of the Mateo Sport Slides he likes to wear around the house.

Cycling Insoles
If you’re looking for an insole for cycling shoes the Performance Thin with met pad is your answer. These fit great in several different pairs of shoes without taking up a lot of volume. I have noticed a significant reduction in ankle/ foot soreness during long rides over the winter. The lightweight cork is great to keep the weight down as race season approaches. Every level of cyclist should own a pair of these!

Heel pain relief
My heels and ankles were killing me. I tried a pair of these and it relieved my pain almost completely. I saw such great results I ordered three more pairs for my other shoes. I also appreciate that they are eco-friendly.

I even use these in my clog slippers
I had developed uncomfortable nerve tingling in the side of one foot beneath the ankle. My podiatrist said I needed to use insoles with support for high arches virtually all the time. I started using SOLE Softec Response insoles not only in my sneakers and boots when I'm outdoors but also in my clog slippers (which fit snugly at the arch with room in the toe box) when I'm at home. The Softec Response insole cover material is comfortable and durable, and the insoles support my feet/arches well and comfortably. They appear to be very well made and look like they will last a long time. After about a month of wearing these insoles, the nerve discomfort went away. I have now been wearing them for three months, and the relief has held up. The SOLE Softec Response insole sizes match my footwear sizes. They have the roomy toe boxes I need for my broad forefeet yet hold my narrow heels in place. I'm going to keep buying the Softec Response soles and wearing them pretty much all the time. What a relief!

Will keep buying them
I’ve got a bunion on one foot and bad ankle on the other. After purchasing these soles years ago, the conditions finally became manageable. I have them in every pair of shoes. Pain free walking is a gift that you owe yourself!

My preferred sole
Active Thick with met pad enables me to walk 3 to 4 miles 7 days a week. Before using them, I had sore ankles, arches and over pronation. I find the med pad gives extra comfort.

Life Changers
I bought these for my boyfriend who has the worst flat feet you have ever seen. He hasnt been able to enjoy walks or hiking in years. One day with these and his ankles didnt hurt andymore and he said he could feel it in his hip flexors. These have been life changing for him.

Game changer
I have genetic flat feet. I'm 44, and have lived the "strenuous life." Very active - hiker, power lifter, stone mason, former Marine. Over the last 4 years I've developed pttd, and over the last 5 months it's gotten very painful. As someone who can usually physically do whatever I want, having to avoid simple things like stairs has been very difficult physically and mentally. I have tried lace up ankle wrap braces, custom rigid orthotics that cost 1000.00 dollars, special shoes, and been religious about foot strengthening- they all sort of work, but there's always some pain. I have routinely been told "otc" orthotics aren't effective. Regardless on a whim I bought a pair of SOLE insoles, and after I put them in my gym shoes -INSTANTLY - the pain went away almost completely. I bought a second pair for my Danner hiking/work boots, with the same result. I can't wrap my brain around how there can be such an immediate dramatic change, but running up and down my stairs without a second thought or wincing in pain is absolutely amazing. I haven't worn them long, but they seem durable. I hope they hold up, though for this level of regained mobility, I'd buy a new pair every month if I had to. My hope is, as they are clearly relieving the strain on my tibial tendon and over pronation, over time with continued wear and foot strengthening I can reverse some of the damage done.

Solved my knee pain.
The SOLE products were recommended by my physiotherapist for pain in the knee and the ankle. Not only do I have the insoles, I have 2 pairs of slides and I find them most comfortable and so convenient to wear both in the summer and in the winter inside.
Marcia Carpenter
Sooooo comfortable!
Comfort and support in one! I wear these inside from when I wake up to when I go to bed. Helps with my lower back, knee, and ankle pain. I can’t live without them!!!!

Jeremy JD Shibata
Restaurant worker
I wear these for work and I stand for long hours. It will form to your feet but still provides the support. The material is good too!! Durable material and cool designs! Would recommend the met pad for problematic foot people like myself!! It helped with the other leg pains bad support caused to knees, ankles, or hips.

Effective replacement for custom orthotics
After several ankle sprains, I consulted a doctor who prescribed custom insoles. As an active tennis player, foot stability, particularly ankle stability, is very important. Recently, I had worn out those custom orthotics and looked for replacement options. The SOLE deep heel cup, and excellent arch support (I have high arches) provide what I need. And at a fraction of the cost of going the custom route again, I’m very pleased. These insoles are excellent for tennis, and the cork provided some nice natural cushioning.

Nicholas Bontorno
Just what I needed
I have very flat feet and tried out these books to help with my walking and some pain I have in my left ankle. I've had these for about a month and wear them most days and they've really helped in how I walk and how my feet and ankles feel. The leather is very stiff and has taken a while to soften up, and it rubbed against my legs a lot at first. But besides this, I'm very pleased with these boots.

Expect break in period
I am a runner/athlete. Have been for decades. I'm 60 years old and very fit. I run about 25-30 miles per week. I do not have flat feet but my arches are NOT pronounced. Without support under my arches my feet get sore quickly. I have used MANY different types of insoles to support my arches. I have had relatively good luck over the years with top line athletic Dr. Scholl's and also expensive custom orthodics. Dr. Scholl's are a bit heavy and a bit squishy, due to the Gel component and lack of a hardened bottom, but have been okay. Customs have all been a crap shoot and have all been costly. $500 range. A friend made me aware of the SOLE product. I did a lot of reading and photo gazing and concluded that this is a product certainly worth trying. I am a shoe size 10.5 so had to trim the front of the insole to fit. No problem. They cut relatively easily with a good scissor and because I've had to trim about a hundred of the Dr. Scholl's I did not mess it up. I have put approx 50 miles on the SOLE's. They are light weight and have not caused any chaffing or callousing. Although the first few runs there was a bit of instep and toe rub. At first they did not fit my foot shape and seemed VERY ridged. But they have done what SOLE claims and have molded to the shape of my foot. I played hockey for years. I understand how this material works as Hockey Skates also need to be oven baked a couple of times and then worn to adapt to your foot and ankle. At this point everything is great. They're light weight, provide great arch support, there is no squishiness due to them not having a gel component, no heel bruising or tenderness, no foot odor. All good... I've ordered a second pair as well for my daily walking around shoes. Thank you SOLE for a great product.... 5 stars...

Priceless!
I spent my summer training for a six day backpacking trip. When I started hiking with backpack weight the insoles that came with my boots did not provide enough cushion or support. I have six pieces of metal in my right ankle and three in my left knee. When I put these SOLE insoles in my boots my world changed. They were comfortable, supportive and custom molded to fit my damaged feet.. They had over a hundred miles on them when I started the trip. I hiked forty miles on rugged terrain with a heavy pack and my feet never complained. I wear KEEN boots because they have a wide toe box, These insoles fit great with minor trimming. Highly recommended if you have wide feet and are looking for a quality comfortable insole.

SOLE arch support insoles
One foot has a fallen arch as the result of an ankle injury a few months back. It was suggested to me by an athletic trainer to try the SOLE product before going the route of seeing a foot doctor. This might mitigate the pain in my ankle and across the top of my foot, and on the inside of my foot. There was also considerable swelling on the ball of the foot causing some minor numbness. I have been wearing this product for a month or so and can attest to the fact that the pain is negligible and most days the swelling is much decreased, which also lessens the numbness. It is by far the best insole I have ever used...very comfortable. In fact, I am going to order two more pairs for other shoes. Once you warm the insole, slide it into a pair of shoes, and step into the shoe, the insole is definitely shaped to your foot but also then seems to be shoe specific. Thank you for making such a good and affordable product.

My Sole therapy
I love all SOLE sandals...my orthopedist told me about them years ago when I broke my ankle. I have MANY pairs and styles...I recently bought this one for my husband to try....he has torn his achilles tendon apart....had 4 months of casting, boots and therapy. Now he needs good support. We went to the Caribbean, he had good support in the sun and beach activity. Thank you SOLE.

Game changer
These custom heat-molded insoles are by far the best product that I'm aware of for my collapsing arches and uneven pronation. In fact, a shoe expert in North Carolina recommended them when I was attempting to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 2016 (but was having a lot of ankle and hip pain and didn't know if I could continue). After I got SOLE insoles, I was able to backpack another 1,500 miles with none of the same pain I'd had. Now, after a few years of wear (and many more miles of use), that pair wore down and I ordered these for everyday urban use, and they're just as amazing. I feel so much relief, all the way up to my neck, when I wear these. It's well worth the few extra dollars for these. I wish more podiatrists and sports retailers knew about just how much of a game changer SOLE heat-molded insoles can be. Thank you SOLE! - Ben (Pittsburgh, PA)

Great!
I put these in some work boots that had zero support and they were much improved. I have high arches and a weak right ankle from an old injury. I got the insoles with the hope of improving support for my bad ankle as the more I exercise the more discomfort I feel on it. So far it has helped. They fit the boots well. The size ten insole required minor trimming to fit. I think the cork is a great material. I am happy to use anything that is recycled or helps the environment in any way.

Wonderful
I put these in some cycling shoes that had minor support and they were much improved. I have high arches and a weak right ankle from an old injury. I got the insoles with the hope of improving support for my bad ankle as the more I exercise the more discomfort I feel on it. So far it has helped. I am able to ride further and my feet don't go numb. I think the met pad is a great addition. I was not sure if it would help or fit in the small shoe but the people at sole are right. It just helps your foot conform naturally. It doesn't just take up space, it fills the space and helps your foot feel natural. They fit the small shoes well. The size ten insole required minor trimming to fit a 9.5 shoe. I think the cork is a great material. I am happy to use anything that is recycled or helps the environment in any way.

Best garden boots ever!
I have pins and plates in my one ankle. Balance and spending lots of time on uneven terrain have been an ongoing issue for me all the years since my foot surgeries. Wet ground and garden beds are the most challenging areas for my feet to spend time. I bought these Repel boots to try and replace my rubber gardener boots that have been killing my feet. Mid way through life of my existing boots I had put a pair of SOLE inserts in them. This had provided some relief but because I had ordered thick ones to try and provide insulation from cold the boots ended up being too tight. These boots are water resistant and fabulously comfortable. I can spend a whole day in the garden and my feet still feel great! Much more stable so calf muscles, toes everything don't feel exhausted when I come in. Just wish I had got them sooner. Michelle

The insoles work great. I have little cartilage in my ankles and my arches have fallen made walking sore. This the the 5 pair of these I have bought because they are so effective in mediating and managing my foot problems. I walk pain free after every meal 6 to 8 miles a day.

Great product
I have had these insoles for about two months. At first they felt awkward, especially in a well loved pair of shoes. But they broke in nicely in only a few days (I chose not to heat mold them). I was struggling with pain in my ankles and feet. These insoles greatly helped relieve the strain and made it so I could actually walk and not just hobble. I have since gotten a few more to put in different shoes. I can't recommend them enough.

Can't do without these!
I suffered from foot pain for WAY TOO LONG. My orthopedic doctor recommended these many years ago and I absolutely can't do without them. If I go one day without, my feet, ankles and legs just ache. It's amazing that one little addition like this insert makes a HUGE difference in the best way possible.

Comfortable shoe!
I love that the materials are not animal products. They fit like a kid glove. The footbed is very firm and gives a sense of enclosing your foot, but be warned that it is not a cushiony feeling. The sole has grip on dry surfaces, but I have a feeling I won't be using it in the winter. All in all a terrific ankle boot.

Love them!
I really like these - I like these more than my 400 dollar custom orthotics. My favourite thing about them is that they make my gait feel more natural. I've always had foot/ankle problems, including overpronation, peroneal tendonitis, os trigonum issues, etc. I always feel awkward when I walk. These help my bad foot do that natural heel-to-toe motion properly. Overall, they reduce my foot and ankle pain a lot - I can't believe how affordable they are. Only problem is that now I hate walking without them.

They're great!
My right foot has problems; a pronounced bunion and no arch at all. When I walk, it's like walking on my ankle, and is painful. At the end of the day, there's a huge swelling on the outside side of that foot. I have been through so many insoles I've lost count. None provide support where it's needed; they concentrate on being squishy, and what I need is firm support. I bought your insoles on a chance, fully expecting that they'd be the same as all the others. WOW! They weren't! They were firm at the arch and helped counteract the flatness. They're comfortable! The only thing missing is a wedge on the inside side of my heel, to tilt the whole foot outwards. Thanks people! I love them.

Incredible
I've suffered from hip pain and tarsal tunnel syndrome for years. Then I read about supination, which is walking on the outside of your foot. I realized I did that and looked up ways to correct it. SOLE's website came up and I ordered what was recommended. After just TWO DAYS my hip pain had receded to the point where I barely noticed it. I also found that my tarsal tunnel syndrome symptoms (caused by nerve compression in the ankles) were drastically reduced. When I took off my shoes and socks to go to bed, I was amazed that I could actually feel the texture of the carpet under my feet for the first time in years. AFTER TWO DAYS! I immediately ordered a second pair. It's rare that I've been so satisfied with a product, especially one ordered online. THANK YOU SOLE!!!

Great Insoles
I have had foot and ankle pain for years. I was using expensive orthodics untill I found these insoles. When I first received them I compared them to my expensive insoles they were almost the same. The arch height was the same - the only difference I could see was the heel cup was not quite as deep. The thickness was a little softer. In my opinion these are better then the expensive ones. I have them in all my shoes and work boots.

Great Insoles
I have been using this type of insole for approx. 2 years. After I purchased a pair I compared them to my $500 orthotics. They were almost identical. The instep was the same height and the heel cup was just a little shallower. My feet are pronated really bad. Had ankle fusion 8 months ago and have since bought a few more pairs and have them all my shoes. IMO these are just as good as the expensive ones if not better. I find them very comfortable for my situation. They my not have cured my condition but they have made it very bearable. GREAT INSOLES

Nice shoes
These are great shoes and my second pair from the ReCORK collection. Firm shoe as I already knew would be the case. Great for casual use with moderate walking. I would not wear these for extensive walking. With that said, they are very comfortable and have made my feet less achy. I have had stress fractures in the past from high impact sports with lots of change in direction and these have alleviated some ongoing discomfort. One of my ankles (not both for some reason) was a little chafed from the top of the boot. I wear them a little looser to prevent rubbing and after breaking them in this stopped.

Supports Entire Running Frame
This is my second pair, two pair of shoes. After trying the 1st pair I found that I no longer needed my sorbothane heal pads. For those who don't know what they are, they came to market over 40 years ago. They absorb sock in a great way, used to protect the body from they wear of various prosthesis and ballistic vests. I have used them for over 40 years with no running injuries. SOLE replaced them without any issues. The SOLE Active with Med Pad keeps my ankles, legs, and hips in alignment. My quicker recovery from runs can be attributed to their use. Try them

I love these insoles
I have been a loyal user of SOLE insoles for years now and I buy them for my elderly father, who too swears by them. The sizing always fits, it takes the pressure off my feet, my ankles and enables me to take some great back-country hiking trips. A must-have for anyone who spends their time on trails, work, I never leave the house without wearing SOLE insoles.

Don't Leave Home Without SOLE
I have worn SOLE in every pair of shoes for several years. I grew tired of moving 2-3 pairs around between shoes so I recently purchased 2 pair of thins for my dress shoes, 2 pair of mediums for tennis shoes and a pair of thick for my work boots. I moved my old ones to my golf shoes and snow boots. I believe so strongly in the product that I purchased 2 pair for my wife, 1 for my child and 1 for a coworker with some lower body pain. Taking care of your feet impacts several parts of your body up to your neck (ankles, knees, hips, back and neck). SOLE are money well spent.

Helped to cure my plantar fasciitis
I spend countless hours on my feet at work, and I've been in my role for 23 years. I suffer from plantar fasciitis. My chiropodist recommended that when I'm home to try the SOLE flip flop rather than walk barefoot. He sold them in his front store at his clinic. So I bought a pair. This was 15 years ago. The flip flops played a huge part in curing my fasciitis and I've bought 2 other pairs since then. My most recent purchase was a Christmas gift for my sister who also spends quite a lot of time on her feet and now suffers from plantar fasciitis. I swear by sole products to aid in this condition. The quality of the product is unbeatable, and the comfort: well let's say that I will not wear any other shoe at home. They are the most comfortable shoes that I own. I also experience less ankle pain than in the past and I attribute this to the ergonomics of these shoes. I am interested in trying a sole product as my shoes for work.

Very satisfied !
I was do for a new pair of $400 orthopedic insoles and I just couldn't justify spending the money so I did some research and and chose these which I'm glad I did. I ordered 2 pair ... 1 for work shoes and 1 for good shoes . I molded the right away . The material seems to be very durable and after wearing for more than a month they still look new (no wear what so ever) I have a history of a bad ankle and once in a while it flares up and bothers me . Once I started wearing these my ankle felt so much better. I'm also a technician and I stand on a concrete floor ALL DAY . Definitely recommend these and I will be buying again in the future.

Saved my ankle!
Having purchased a pair of Merrells for everyday winter wear, my left ankle became bruised. After a week of pain and now a very bruised ankle, I put these SOLE Work Mediums in. Not only did they feel good, but my ankle seemed less painful. In a week, the bruise was gone and there was no pain. Truly, it was blessed relief. I should have thought to do it sooner. Duh! I love these products for the comfort they have given me over the years.

INSOLE FOR WIDE TOE SHOES
I normally wear Altra wide toe zero drop shoes. I'd worn SOLE's in the past and after visiting the web site I found the wide toe option. I purchased both thin and medium. The insoles are well made and fit my shoes perfectly. With over 500 miles of backpacking and normal everyday wear they are holding up very well. I wear a combination of lite to mid weight socks depending on the season and both insoles get the job done. I've been fighting a slight Achilles Tendon issue and these insoles provide some support along with my padded ankle brace.

4th Pair - Love Them!
I love these flip flops, and have bought multiple pairs over the years. I wear them every day (I'm in a warm climate) and they hold up pretty well. They REALLY help with my feet (bunions) and ankle problems. Since I've purchased SOLE products my foot pain is a thing of the past. I was super skeptical when my doc said I should wear supportive footwear only. I really didn't believe it. But now I do. SOLE is the ticket!

These saved me!
I hike about 5-6 days every single week, in the Appalachia mountains. Due to this, my ankles and feet were taking the hit! I was looking for relief without more podiatry visits, cortisone shots or PT expenses. I found SOLE insoles during a search for help and decided to try them. I am so pleased with their success! I can keep on hiking (my favourite weight loss exercise) and my feet have relief! Arch support is perfect and the metatarsal pad is just right to support my neuroma. Yay! Try these- I'm so glad I did!

Finally wore out a pair of my socks
I picked up 4 pairs of socks some 15 years ago when I was introduced to sole insoles. I have worn the socks for casual wear and exercise at least once a week since that time, and finally wore through my first pair of the thin ankle length black socks. (No special care was taken...machine washed and dried (Low heat) always with no problems) Comfortable, supportive, and still fitting true after all these years. I will most definitely be replacing these with some of the newer ones. My Sandals that I had also had and worn exclusively over the years were stolen from the poolside while at a resort two years ago. The most comfortable thong sandals ever!

Solid choice for those with high arches and PF!
After having success with the non-cork Active Thins while recovering from PF, I grabbed a pair of these due to the little bit of extra padding and the additional natural shock absorption of the cork. They have quickly become my favorite insole choice for both road and trail. I have used these for at least 60 miles and can say they work in pretty much every shoe (Salomon Sense Ride 2 & 3, Hoka Speedgoat 4, Saucony Peregrine ISO & 10 and Ride ISO). I've also tried them in several other brands and models just in the house, and they fit well in those, as well. Heel-to-toe offset does not seem affected heavily by these, and the amount of heel lift is minimal. Overall, the fit is excellent, and these do not affect lockdown. One note on sizing: my SGs and Saucony Rides are a men's 10, all other shoes are a men's 9.5, and I use the men's 9 in these insoles with no issues and no need to trim. These actually aid toe-off in my softer shoes and allow good flexibility at the forefoot. However, the arch and heel area provide just the right amount of semi-rigid support necessary to allow me to run with no strain to my plantar fascia while still allowing some natural flex in that area. Materials have held up well thus far, but I have yet to really run them through ankle deep water and mud yet. PNW rainy season is ramping up, so I anticipate a chance to really run these through the ringer soon.

Very nice
I bought these for my boyfriend as more formal shoes than his running shoes. They are very nice. He hasn't worn them much yet, a bit around the house to mold the shoe. He finds that the back of the shoe digs in to his ankle. We will buy the cushions you can stick in and it should help, it is what I did with the wool flats in women's section and it solved the problem for me.

Happy Joints and Happy Feet
I am flat-footed (and pronate), and while I love thongs, they simply don't do the bottom of my feet and rest of my body any good. I usually end up with lower joint problems from my hips down to my ankles when I would wear traditional sandals. The arch support in the Costa Flip allows me to comfortably wear them (and actually walk long distances) without any pain during or after. It is such a nice change. I wear them often on walks that are often a good hour or so -- not just to wander around in! The bed has a nice amount of cushion, and I never experienced any blisters! Not even after my first wear.

great alternative to Flips
I love these. There are times when I come in from doing outside chores and need a support 'slipper' after taking off boots. These work perfect with socks. I am dealing with an ankle injury and it hurts to walk on hard floors without some arch support. I started wearing a year ago and have since bought 2 more pair. Can have a pair by each door.

I love these!
I have an issue with my right ankle, I broke it badly when I was a teen and it has been off ever since. All SOLE insoles help me to be more comfortable day to day, and I have them in most of my shoes. The performance ones are my favourite, I love the added cushion the cork has. I like how Nike Air Max look and these are the perfect thickness to fit in them, so I have about 4 pairs now.

Recovery & rehab
My physio turned me on to the Sole footbeds for post surgical recovery so when I noticed SOLE had flips near my size I had to try them out. So great to be able to walk without hot shoes and socks all summer and still get excellent support to hold my ankle and knee in the correct position for a better recovery and rehab! The flips are comfortable and sturdy. Though I'm grateful for a size 14 offering, the sizing might be slightly on the small side. It would be fantastic if SOLE could increase their offerings by a size or two...

Best socks ever!
I can't say enough about these socks! They are super comfortable and the perfect stretch. I was having swelling around my ankles from generalized weak ankle support and these socks eliminated the problem. The double layer adds extra cushion and keeps me from getting heel blisters. Love them!

True comfort
I have been wearing SOLE flip flops for almost ten years due to ankle issues and plantar fasciitis. This sandal is the most comfortable SOLE sandal I've purchased. The footbed of the sandal has ridges that keep your feet from slipping when sweat is an issue.

I Love SOLE Flip-Flops
I've probably purchased 10 pairs in the past few years. They really help with my feet conditions (bunion, bad ankle) and they are very stylish. These ones are wonderful. I would definitely order more.

They convinced me
I bought this insole for my teenage daughter. I had noticed while walking behind her that her ankles caved inward each step to the point that it was disturbing for me to watch. I asked her if it hurt, and she said her knees and back hurt when she jogged. After some research I bought these for her. She told me that she can definitely feel the difference with these insoles, and that her knees and back no longer hurt. That convinced me enough to buy a set for myself.

Be different
These shoes are a great way to be comfortable with fashion in mind and have a different option than all the other ankle boots on the market. The sole is obviously super supportive. They fit a touch narrower than most SOLE products but I think they will actually mold to my foot perfectly.

Knee problems solved
I owe a lot of respect to SOLE company. For some unknown reason I started having ankle pain on my right foot a few months ago. I was referred to a foot doctor, the same that had seen me during my childhood during 12 years and that fixed my problem having feet looking inwards. This time, the foot doctor made me those super technological orthodics that cost $400+. After 5 adjustments trying to improve them, because I was starting to feel a very painful pinching sensation in my inner knees (somewhere I NEVER had any problem before in my entire life), I came across SOLE footbed in a outdoors sale. I bought it thinking I had nothing to lose. I was pretty desperate at this point, nothing was doing it. My knees were in pain if I wore the foot orthodics or not, and the best solution was just not to walk at all : not an option at 32 years old! So I started using the SOLE footbeds, and all of a sudden, my knee pain disappeared! It was, and it still is, honestly so marvellous. I never told the Podiatrist I stopped using my custom orthodic, but now I got SOLE footbeds and my doctor was pretty happy I found my solution, so he wrote down the company name and went on recommending his patients the footbed. SOLE, you saved my knees! Thanks a lot!

Perfect for Joint Pain of all Types
I have been using SOLE insoles for almost 20 years. They're comfortable, affordable, and they prevent ankle pain, tendonitis, and now that I'm older, all kinds of other joint pain. Thus, when I purchased another pair for myself, I also purchased a couple of pairs for my husband. He has been complaining of foot pain from bunions and knee pain. He works in HVAC so he is on his feet all day at work. He also lifts weights for multiple hours a day. Since he started using the insoles, he isn't complaining about his bunions anymore. He says they are comfortable, and they have definitely helped with his pain.

Best Insoles on the Market
A physical therapist recommended SOLE to me about 20 years ago. I had repeat ankle sprains and tendonitis in my Achilles tendon. Some of that was due to sports injuries, but I also have high arches. I needed better foot support. I was also an undergraduate student, so I had very little money. Thankfully, the student health center sold SOLE insoles. I have been using them ever since. If you have any type of joint pain, including back pain, you need these insoles. Since I have multiple pairs of insoles, they tend to last me for about five years. The benefits far outweigh the costs of SOLE products.

Very Supportive
These insoles are on par with my custom orthotics. They support my arches through a long day of walking and standing. They may take a little getting used to for someone unfamiliar with orthotics but it's worth the adjustment period. Your feet, ankles, hips and lower back will thank you. Definitely worth the investment.

Great product. Really forms your feet well and helped my ankle pain a lot!

Pleasantly surprised
I have had a lot of shoe inserts promise to relieve foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain. None ever delivered. It was a pleasant surprise to realize that after a few weeks of using the SOLE inserts, I was walking further and enjoying it more. I'd love to be able to get SOLE inserts for every pair of shoes that I own!

Every shoe every day
SOLE insoles have changed my life. I have put them in at least 4 pairs of shoes so I rarely have to move them to another pair. They support my arches very well and have made a big difference in my ankle and knee strength. I never go without them. Thanks for a great product.

Love then
I have struggled with plantar fasciitis for 20 years due to an old ankle injury. Once my podiatrist introduced me to SOLE, there was no going back--I only wear SOLE flip flops, and all my regular shoes have SOLE inserts in them. These Monterey flips are no exception--I love them. I can wear them all day and my feet never hurt. They fit my feet perfectly and run true to size.

Supportive
I own three pair of SOLE flips, the Del Mar is my latest purchase. This product came recommended by my physiotherapist as I had an ankle injury a few years back. These flips are of top notch quality and support my feet in every way. I like the new fabric and the tasteful colors in the Del Mar flip. The employees at this company go out of the way to be helpful and courteous. These people honestly want you to have the best fit. And, I really appreciate the excellent customer service provided. We are a SOLE family as hubby owns more pairs of sandals and insoles than I do!

Love these foot beds!
My physical therapist recommended these to me years ago. I have a chronic pain due to an ankle sprain, that didn't seem to be getting better. I've had a much easier time improving my ankle strength wearing these. I have had them in my walking and hiking shoes for nearly 9 years now. Wearing SOLE footbeds provides comfort and stability. I highly recommend!

Finally, a shoe insert that works!
Tried numerous shoe inserts to resolve my foot pain. Found Sole shoe inserts during a Google search. Researched the product and ordered one pair. Sole insert worked for me and helped rid my foot pain. I ordered 3 more pairs for my different shoes. When my daughters had foot pain issues from soccer I ordered both girls Sole inserts. Both girls are pain free. I ended up ordering the Sole slip on sandals and strap on sandals for days I don't want to wear socks but still have my arch and ankle support. No issues with the Sole inserts to date. Have been using them for many years. I don't heat my inserts I just put them into my shoe and over a short period of time they form to my foot.

Relief
I have planters, heel spurs, aquinis ankles, arthritis and arch problems. I have tried lots of different brands some help for a while but eventually the pain returns. However I discovered the Sole Sport Slides in 2011 and have been buying and wearing them ever since. I can wear for an entire day and have no pain. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are fantastic!

Best arch support ever
I found these from a review on Amazon about my normal Orthaheel shoes. The reviewer felt these were much better, which sounded hard to believe to me. So I was shocked when I tried these on to learn that they ARE better than any shoe I've ever tried. (A lot!) these are better than orthaheel because not only do they have perfect arch support but they allow for that natural place under the toes that also needs support, the heel bed is deep enough to support proper ankle position also. An old ankle injury and severe plantar fasciitis is getting amazing relief since wearing these shoes. I love them and I bought 4 (don't judge me ;) foot pain relief is no joke!) I have 1 pair for outside shoes, 1 pair for inside shoes (we don't wear outside shoes in the house) and an extra backup for each in case these get discontinued like happens sometimes. Brilliant design!

Love my DualLayer
I used both the ankle single layer and a pair of crew dual layer for a 24 hr bike race. This is the first time I had no blister issues. Still waiting for dual ankle socks to be in stock so I can order some. My only issue with the dual crew is that all the dead leaves and brush like them too. Having a hard time getting everything off of them. I still really really like the socks so it is something I can live with.

Thank you
Thank you Sole. This spring I dislocated my ankle and broke my leg. When the cast finally came off I found that I had developed severe pain in the bottom of my heal. The only shoes that I could wear were my Sole sign and my sport flip flops. I can't say thank you enough. Thank you Sole

freedom of wearing flops
Ever since I tried on a friends pair of SOLE Flips few years ago, I've thrown out every other flop I owned. From a car accident, I suffer the remnants of a right-ankle injury and your flops arch and support are wonderful. They literally gave me back the freedom of wearing flops comfortably. And I can assure you , as a South Florida outdoor enthusiast I live in flops J.
Jennifer Berndt
great for kids too
My 11yr old daughter had constant nagging feet and ankle pains/strains while playing competitive soccer. We tore out the existing soccer cleat liner and added these inserts with complete resolution of complaints. Now we will add them to all her shoes when possible.

Good for you SOLE and FEET!
I was introduced to SOLE socks after having inserts made during a speed skate competition... WOW! For any type of skating we like nothing better for performance, support, breathability, and best of all no blistering! Now we stock both ankle and crew height socks in our shop for skaters. Seriously, something about these magic socks will make you empty your old sock drawer.

Love, Love, LOVE These!!
These are the best pair of shoes I have EVER owned! I have a bad back and ankles that have been broken/sprained numerous times. These SOLE Flips (bought with a Groupon) were the best money I have ever spent! I even got a pair for my husband and he loves his too! My Chiropractor was even asking me about them since she was the one who suggested I look into an orthopedic-type flip. I never want to take these off! If you could make a dress shoe that fits as well as these and as comfortable, I'd get one in every color!

I was able to walk for hours using the sole footbeds
I do not know the mechanism of action however the following may be relevant.30 years ago I had surgery on my forefoot with removal of 2 toes. I believe the stability of my transverse arch and longitudinal arch was compromised minimally. With time and perhaps a slight weight increase the collapse of both of these arches occurred . The sole insole has helped to restore the arches .. By trial and error I have learned that using boot type shoes I can further stabilise the ankle joint, However this alone is not adequate to relieve my pain. Prior to using the sole footbeds I was often unable to walk for long distances on flat concrete without moderate or worse pain. I have just returned after visiting 3 European cities with most of the walking surfaces cobblestones. I was able to walk for hours using the sole footbeds. (particularly the Ultra products.) As a semiretired academic surgeon who has practised surgery for over 35 years I have conclude in the treatment of my patients that any procedure or technique that works is worth pursuing if there is no risk of worsening a condition even if the exact mechanism of action is not known. I believe the Sole footbeds meet this criteria! Thank you very much.

Great comfort
Similar to Amanda from Phoenix, I had a stress fracture of my ankle and was looking for comfortable summer shoes. When the Groupon offer came in, I decided to try Sole. I have not been disappointed. Though it isn't even close to summer in PA, I have been wearing the Casual Flips in the house as sandals because they feel so good. Thanks for making such a terrific flip flop!

VERY GOOD but . . .
I bought these because I felt I needed more support in my shoes for playing badminton. Since badminton is very intense on the knees and ankles, when you play at a high standard. Before I used these insoles I used to get knee pain every so often , but now since i got them, I haven't had it since. SO THEY WORK IN MY OPINION!! I do have a few small problems with them though They are quite thick, it may not sound like a lot on the page but trust me they will make a normal shoe tight to wear for a while untill the shoes break out a bit (especially badminton shoes). Also it may not be a problem for most people but in badminton these will only last as long as your shoes really i have burned through the cushioning down to the plastic on some parts. Lastly they weigh quite a bit for an insole, i measured them and one is 80grams, a normal insole is roughly half that. BUT. . . these problems are minor compared to what they give you in return (no pain). I will be trying the sole response next time.

Happy Troops
I am a Physician Assitant deployed to Iraq right now and we have a stock of Sole inserts and they have been a Godsend. I have seen more plantar fasciitis over the past months than in the past 5 years of practice. I tried some insoles because I was having some foot pain and I fell in love. We have gone through over 100 pairs for our troops and we keep ordering more because word got out and they are helping everything from foot, ankle, knee, hip and even back pain. I can't say enough about these insoles. Every other PA and Doctor here also has a pair in their shoes after hearing me and my patients rave about them and they are all in love now too.

Long Lasting cusion and high arch support.
In the last couple of years, foot and ankle pain have set me back. I'd been going back and forth to the podiatrist, getting new casts for custom orthodics, walking on the gel for a high tech casting for orthodics, etc. Everything always came back with the arch starting in the middle of my heel and giving me no arch support. I have size 14 feet and I think the shoe companies imagine people with bigger feet still have their arches in the same spot as little feet. Anyway, I got a new Podiatrist who is the favorite of the Northwest Ballet. He recommended Softec Ultras. They've made a huge difference. The arch started at the edge of my heal but it molded to me just fine. I didn't use the oven for fear the arch would fall a bit, I just let them mold to me over time, which they did nicely. They have the feeling of a brand new pair of Asics Gel Nimbus, but with a higher arch and more cushion. They last longer than the Asics standard 3 months. I've had these in my Asics for about 9 months and the Asics were about 3 months old when I put in the Softec Ultras. Which brings up the thought that the Asics don't wear out so fast, the Asic footbeds are what wears out. They really helped with my, sitting, standing, ankle-knee-hip board work, walking, and drumming endurance. Life is a lot better than I thought it would be by now.

BETTER THAN PHYSICAL THERAPY?
During a terrible car accident, in which I should have died, my right ankle was crushed. After 2 weeks in a trauma unit, I went home with 5 pins and a plate holding my ankle together, while it healed in a cast. I came out of the cast 2 months later, on my way to an amazing miraculous recovery. My foot survived, but is now pronated to the inside. (at least I have it. Doctors thought I would lose it) I went to a podiatrist during physical therapy and he suggested I try Sole Inserts before resorting to $500 custom orthotics. After wearing these inserts for 2 weeks, I walk without a limp. These are amazing and have given me new hope for a relatively normal life!! Thank you

I first purchased these for my snowboarding boots
I first purchased these for my snowboarding boots as I the outside of my ankle had too much pressure in my boots. After I put in the footbeds, that pain went away almost entirely. I have high arches, and I don't even mold the footbeds. I feel like I could use even higher arches on the footbeds to make me even more comfortable.

Far Exceeded my Expectations
My company moved to a new building in June 2008. The floor are hard concrete. I began having foot pain(plantar fasciitis) in my right foot. After a few months I began to walk with a limp and by the end of my shift my ankle was swelling and in alot of pain. The price was reasonable. I felt I would try this before paying hundreds of dollars on custom orthotics. Having two coworkers highly recommend the product also played a big role. After wearing the footbeds for two weeks, I no longer was limping around at work. I could walk normal. Before I was trying to walk without my heel touching the ground because the pain was so great. After a month of wearing the footbeds, my ankle no longer swelled. After 5 weeks, I no longer had to wear my ankle brace. This product far exceeded my expectations.

Better than Custom Orthodics
I have had several pairs of custom orthodics that run more than $400 a pair. But I keep reaching for the Soles I bought here. I even took the Soles to the Doctor to see if they could make the arch in their orthodics like the Soles. No luck. The Soles still felt better than the expensive custom ones. The deep heel cup keeps my ankle more stable than anything I have ever tried. I'm buying another pair. No more custom orthodics for me.

Thanks for introducing a great product
I'll be 45 in a few weeks. I began running when I was 20. Like many, running has become my focus, obsession, daily routine. I currently have a 13 year streaking going of not missing a day. A few (20 - 30) of those runs were 3 miles or less due to injury/sickness, having to get my run in before an early morning flight, or dangerous weather (electrical/hail storm or -25 temps with -50 wind-chill) Most of my weeks average 45-55 miles a week. Most of these miles I run alone. I go at different times of the day due to work, travel, family events or pace, since I train at a 7:15 pace and most of my friends average 8:30 - 9:00's. I get sore if I run too often at a pace other than my own. Now you're wondering why I'm boring you with the details of my running obsession. 2003 was a difficult injury year for me. I pulled my left hamstring which resulted in aches and pains all winter. Later that summer, I strained my left thigh and soon after that I sprained my left ankle on acorns in the dark. I continued to run every day, but I felt achy and out of balance. I had been using Spenco insoles for years and decided maybe it was time for orthotics. I had stopped into Runner's Edge in St. Paul, Minnesota, and noticed your product. The feedback from the salesperson was that he had tried Sole insoles and they were great. I knew him for a while and I felt I could rely on what he said. I decided to give them a try for $40 before spending $100's on orthotics. After all, I still need to keep my streak going and the aches and pains were making it hard to get motivated. Well, needless to say, I've been using them since October '03 and I'm feeling better than I have in years. I feel more balanced and my aches are now the result of hillwork or increased distance changes! I've worn them all winter and into a second pair of shoes and they still feel good! I'm hoping to get back to my 43:00 - 44:00 - 10K times this spring (if aging the additional year doesn't slow me permanently!). Your insoles have given new life to my running and I am looking forward to a much better summer than last summer! Thanks for introducing a great product! Best wishes for a long and prosperous business for you!

I really do think they are an improvement over the custom orthotics
I am on my way to becoming a huge advocate of your product. I've been wearing custom orthotics from a doctor since I was 16(34 now) to correct pretty severe overpronation. The orthotics were pretty much a miracle cure for the last 18 years. I'm a regular, though not fanatic, runner and cyclist. Among other tings, my old orthotics got me through 4 years in the Marine Corps, One marathon, and a lot of training. I stick to the if it ain't broke, don't fix it" principle, and never considered changing anything until I started having some chronic tendenitis(I think) in my ankle a few months ago. It was really going out on a limb for me to try your product after all those years of success with my old orthotics. I am pleased to say that they are an absolute success so far. I've been running or cycling in them on a daily basis. no shin splints, the tentonitis has gone away, and I really do think they are an improvement over the custom orthotics. Anyway, I think you have a great product and that opinion becomes stronger with every passing mile!

Thank you so much for this product
I purchased a pair of the heatable soles yesterday on the advice of my orthopedic surgeon. Here is some background about me. I have worked in a factory for 30 years. My feet are shot!! I have arthritis in both feet and ankles. I have fallen arches so badly that I have had to have foot fusion on the right foot. I now have a 3 inch screw from my heel to my ankle. I have had joint replacement on the great toe of the left foot. I also have had polio as a child. I have lived with foot pain for over 35 years....until NOW! I worked all day today and I have NO PAIN in my right foot at all. My left one is sore because I had surgery just four weeks ago. This is a real miracle for me. I have been thanking God all day for these soles. You may think I am exaggerating but you have no idea how much pain I have been in until now. I went to the store and bought a second pair right after work!!! Thank you so much for this product. I have told all my co-workers that have foot pain about these soles.

They are now the ONLY sandals I wear
Having pain in my inner shin area above my ankle's when wearing traditional style 'flip flops' esp after long runs. Was virtually eliminated after my Sole purchase. They are now the ONLY sandals I wear.

Met pad support
SOLE now offers footbeds with a built-in metatarsal pad. This is an added element of forefoot support that sits under the transverse arch, the arch behind the ball of the foot that runs across the width of the foot. It lifts and separates toes, putting them back into their natural resting position, to relieve pressure and pain in the area that can be caused by issues such as Morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia. This added support also increases circulation and reduces discomfort caused by ill-fitting footwear.
