So happy!!!

This is the absolute best little boot ever! I have struggled for years with foot, knee, hip issues unless I wore my running shoes. Then I found SOLE! These cute little boots are heaven to my feet! Comfortable, easy to put on (zipper at the back) and look super with leggings, tights etc!

Amazing

These are by far the most comfy flips I have ever owned and they don't hurt my feet. Was suffering from planter fasciitis, that is now a thing of the past with these shoes and several of their insoles in every other shoe I own. Its comfort for my feet from now on. My foot is wide as well and the flexible bands on these are perfect. Tried the Balboa but sadly don't fit my wideness.

Not for wide feet

I purchased a pair of Costa flips and LOVED them so much. The straps are flexible so they move with you. I then purchased the Balboa and the straps are not flexible and unfortunately don't fit my wide foot. Better to go with the Costa if you have wider feet like me. Too bad cause I love these products. Also love the insoles. I have purchased several sets for all of my family. Great products for comfort and the environment.

Awesome inserts

I have used SOLE inserts for many years, mostly in my running shoes. Recently I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis and decided to order some inserts for all of my shoes with the MET pad. Glad I did, they work really well and my foot problem has gone! Highly recommended!

Awesome - Helped heal a foot injury

I got these at the recommendation from my physio because of a foot injury due to over-walking (ridiculous injury.. I know). I couldn’t get my feet to heal for months until I got these to help with support when I’m on my feet. Could not recommend more.

Thank You SOLE for giving me my life back

I have numerous issues with my feet. Ball of the foot pain, heel pain and bad arches. I had tried many different products in the past with very limited results. Then I discovered the SOLE products. Instantly after inserting these into my shoes I got some relief. As the insole wore in some more, they got more and more comfortable. I was never able to spend many hours on my feet before getting the SOLE product. This product allows me to function again! I was so pleased with the results that I ordered some more for spares, as I now know that I can't survive without them!

Made a difference

Had weight bearing episodic pain in ball of foot in proximal third metatarsal joint. The Thick met pad Sole reduced the pain when used with a wide toe box shoe. Can't notice a difference from heat shaping the pad as instructed.

Comfortable Sandals

I’ve been using these since April 2, 2022 and find the sandals are comfortable to use despite bunions on my feet. These wear-moldable, water-friendly sandals made of Bloom Algae Foam makes it light and the surface feels good on the feet. The cushioning is sufficient plus the padded microfiber strap is super comfortable. As advertised, the METATARSAL SUPPORT PAD relieves pain and pressure in the ball of the foot by lifting toe bones into natural alignment.

Perfectly comfortable

I love this flip!! The past several years I have looked for quality in a flip flop to usher in Spring. This is my main slide on, kick back, be able to do light walking anywhere…. I have been wearing SOLE flips on and off for the last 2 weeks and highly recommend them. Instantly comfortable, shaped for the sole of a foot and well made. They also seem like they will last the season and not stretch and get loose.

These are great!

I’ve been using these for a couple years. I’ve always needed shoes with extra support but hadn’t found the right inserts. I had some pretty significant foot and ankle pain a couple years ago and saw a podiatrist who recommended these. These help a lot with my pronation, yay

Always Impressed

I have used SOLE products for the last 5 years and have always been impressed with the product. I used to wear orthotics, my Physio recommended SOLE and I've never gone back. I have recommended this product to friends and family who also have enjoyed ending foot pain. Every pair of shoes I wear has SOLE insoles

Finally, relief from foot pain!

I am one of the numerous sufferers of peripheral neuropathy. For years I have endured foot pain that has taken me from an active runner to rarely going for walks because of constant foot pain. I prefer to stay clear of the pharmaceutical pain relief strategy, and decided to try a set of SOLE footbeds. Not sure which product to purchase, I used the SOLE Product Guide to determine which product was best for my condition. Sure enough, the Active Medium with Met Pad was suggested. I purchased the product and it was delivered to my home in just a few days. Following instructions on how to form the footbed to my foot shape, I set the footbeds in the oven at low temperature for a few minutes. Next, I placed each footbed into a pair of my shoes, put the shoes on and waited for the material to conform to my personal foot shape. Skip forward two months, and I can say that after years of foot pain, I am much relieved. Not only can I now go back to long pain free walks, but I have more energy, because I am not in constant pain. These soles are great. The Actives with Metpads easily transfer from one pair of shoes into another. Now that I am satisfied with how well they work, I plan to order another pair for my runners. Relief is a great thing!

Still Happy!

I started using SOLE insoles when I started having foot problems from lack of arch support at least 10 years ago. They have been 5 star the whole time, relieved all my pain. I have worn SOLE sandals as well and they worked great for me. I highly recommend SOLE products and have been in my shoe repair shop as well as sharing them with friends and family. Thank you SOLE!

indispensable

I use these insoles in all my shoes: runners, boots, dress shoes because since I've been using them for at least 4 years, my Nortons neuroma has not bothered me. Metatarsal pads in your shoe inserts and removable metatarsal pads can also offload the ball of your foot where you are having pain. They are comfortable & I use a variety of thicknesses depending on the shoe and activity.

Best fit best value EVER!

I have been wearing these in ALL my shoes for 5 years. I have 6 pair that stay in each set of shoes. Dress shoes, hunting and fishing boots and cross training shoes. These SOLE inserts have saved me from years of aggravated foot pain. They fit my foot and shoe size perfectly. They are comfortable - I have had custom made inserts from other companies, made for much more money (thousands $$), and they didn't work and they weren't comfortable or durable. I tried these out of desperation and now I wouldn't leave the house without them. Thank you! SOLE!

Comfortable insoles

This review is on the "Performance Wide Thick" I also bought the Active ones, but I haven't used them yet. I suffer from lower back pain (sciatica). This pain hit me pretty hard. I see doctors about my lower back. That's all they are focused on: my lower back. I started to think about my childhood and how I needed arch support in my shoes. Knowing general construction and basic biology, a improper foundation leads to a poor construction relying on that foundation. I started looking at arch support inserts. Most are just a heel cup with a partial sole. The ones that were a full footbed were gel or memory foam as padding. Gel leave your foot in it's own sweat. That creates foot rot. Foam collects the sweat and grows bacteria. I came across a "SOLE" ad online. It caught my interest. I started to read these reviews on most of the different styles to order from. I did the fitting questionnaire to find what I might be looking for. I ordered both that came up being that they have the return policy also they are both different materials. When I received them I looked at both and felt the cork ones would be more cushion. I work on my feet 6-8 hours straight per shift. I heated the cork ones in the over per instructions and I haven't looked back. It's been a couple months now and from day one of wearing them my back pain has subsided. I still need surgery on my back, but I believe with these "SOLE" inserts I'll have a better foundation to help strengthen my frame during healing. Yes I would recommend these inserts to those looking for comfort and support. Also those looking for lower back pain relief. I wear a whole size in shoes so I just order that size of inserts. They fit my shoe like it belongs. Nice bed for my foot to sit on. The cork is very comfortable they seem to form to your foot and hold it in your shoe.

Great for snowboard boots

I bought these specifically for my snowboard boots after my old foot beds were making my feet hurt incredibly bad. My issue with the old foot beds was lack of arch support, despite buying ones that matched my arch perfectly. However, when I snowboarded the beds would push down and provide zero support. That's when I did some research and found out about SOLE, and bought a pair online. They took a little getting used to but I could immediately tell that my issue with arch support was gone. The SOLE foot beds kept their form and relieved the pain that I had dealt with before. Great product for snowboard boots

Nice looking Sandle

I have feet that lean inward and when wearing flip flop's I was a little worried that it would get worse. The sandal is made of cork and is comfortable once you get use to the position your foot is in as it is correcting the foot. It fits true to size and is made very well! I really like this sandal.

Great Product

From working from home as a result of covid-19, I was in slippers all the time and my feet were not getting the support they needed. As I walked with my husband he noticed how bad my foot leaned to the inside and I realized that my right knee especially was sore all the time. I realized I needed to get an insole that could help me correct the problem. That's when I ran across SOLE. I really like the thin insole as it fits into any shoe. It offers amazing support and is comfortable to wear. I have been wearing them them for several months and they are still are holding their shape beautifully!

All about the forefoot

From a tiny functional foot clinic serving Yukon Territory and northern BC, SOLE Active Medium is the only insole recommended. Recently purchased 5 pairs to have on hand for clients. Bonus dollars will directly benefit remote harder to reach clients. :) I no longer wear the product - which is a good thing b/c my foot, with the assistance of SOLE, is now barefoot. I like SOLE b/c it helps people's feet, lower limb, pelvis and lower back regain function after years of foot binding. SOLE provides the heal cup, active arch support and the vital forefoot needed for people to regain mobility while comfortably supported. Specific injuries and pain I recommend SOLE treat are the forefoot - which is stabilized when the heel, in the heel cup of the SOLE anchors the foot allowing the forefoot (metatarsals) to regain their beautiful full function - all the way to the tips of each straight toe - which is why I often recommend the wide.

Thank Goodness!

I'm a martial artist, training and teaching karate and I'm an acupuncturist in private practice. I'd suffered an ankle injury years ago, which was acting up and affecting my knee and lower back and foot beds from the physio therapist were going to cost $400. It was then someone told me about SOLE Footbeds. When my first pair of Active Medium with Met Pad footbeds arrived in their slim, environment conscious packaging, I got them in my shoes and I immediately felt relief and comfort. It took just days for all my pain to disappear! Now I recommend them to all my patients with back or lower extremity joint pain and I wear them in all my shoes. It's been about a year now that I've been wearing the footbeds and I'll keep wearing them forever.

LOVE THESE FLIP FLOPS!

This is my fourth pair of SOLE Sport Flip Flops. They have great arch support and hug the foot snugly. I am able to walk long distances in them while travelling where my previous footwear would cause the arthritis in my hips/knee to flare up. I stand on my feet all day for work and I wear these as they provide shock absorption on the hard ceramic floors. Highly recommend!

Giveaway Review

-I bought the product because I have had flat feet my whole life and would like to avoid any issues with pain down the road as I get older. -2 Months Daily -I like how the sole forms around the foot and offers daily support -The sole fits perfectly around my large feet -I think the materials used were combined for a perfect design -The sole is very comfortable!

Great flips!

I wear a 7.5 shoe normally. Went with 7 in these flips and they fit like a glove. Foot comfort is excellent. I've been wearing around the house (winter) but look forward to some spring/summer outdoor wear soon.

Ball of Foot pain

Bought these insoles to see if they would help with pain in toes and ball of foot. They have helped a great deal and have now purchased three pairs to keep in different shoes. They are comfortable and fit perfect in my shoes.

Relieves foot pain

My podiatrist recommended these insoles and they help with foot pain . I need to get more for the rest of my shoes as currently I am just using them in my hiking boots. I wore deck shoes today without the insole and my feet really hurt!

Foot pain is gone

I purchased these insoles several weeks ago after having significant foot pain for many months. The discomfort when walking was gone after one week of wearing these insoles. I have purchased two more pairs for my other shoes as well.

Worth it!

These are worth every penny. I used to run the Active versions in my military boots which really changed my life. I didn’t know anything about flat foot or plantar fasciitis back then. I have had issues my entire life with shoes. With these, I no longer have issues just walking. The Thin version is perfect for my dress shoes and some sneakers. It really depends on your shoe design what you want between the low profile and medium. Some might cry about them being hard, but you need to break them in. I run with these Thin soles and they feel perfectly fine. I have invested in a few different soles just for convenience to not constantly change them out of my shoes. Invest in yourself!

Solved my foot pain

I’ve been using SOLE footbeds for a few years now for pain related to over-pronation. Recently I began to have pain on the ball of my right foot. After doing some research I discovered that this was likely due to metatarsalgia. I decide to look to SOLE for help and found these Performance footbeds with built-in metatarsal support. I’ve begun using them regularly and my pain has disappeared. I’ll continue to buy the footbeds with Met Pads from now on.

Life-changing insoles

I've always had a problem with foot pain wearing shoes, ever since I was young; I just thought it was normal to have aching feet after spending a day in shoes. Sneakers, flip-flops, dress shoes, boots, it didn't matter; everything hurt. When a shoe sales person at The Right Shoe in Vancouver suggested in 2016 that I try SOLE footbeds, I was skeptical because I didn't really believe they could help. She told me to trust her, that they had a return policy if I wasn't satisfied, and that she thought the "aggressive arch support" design would really help my tired, aching feet. So I listened to her and got a pair of Active Thicks for my Bluntstones and I was converted overnight. Those Bluntstones went from being those cool boots that I really liked but always avoided because of fatigue and pain, to becoming my daily shoes. No pain or fatigue, even after hours and hours of walking in them, day after day! Transformative and life-changing. I went back and got a pair Active Thins for my Cons too, and when I started spending more time in dress shoes, I got some for those as well. Now, every single pair of shoes and boots that I own has a pair of SOLE footbeds in them—Thursdays, AEs, Clarks, Vessis, chukkas—and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that SOLE is designed locally (I'm in Vancouver, BC); I love their company philosophy of reduced environmental impact, carbon negativity, wine cork recycling (I make and bottle my own wine too, so it's a real plus for me), planting trees, giving to charities, donating to the needy, and social and ecological responsibility in general; I love the fit and the design; I love love love the comfort. They literally transform any pair of shoes from being totally insane torture devices into comfortable, meaningful footwear that reasonable people can actually wear, walk around, and stand in. Amazing! I mean, what's the point of even wearing footwear if it makes your feet worse and causes pain? And why did it take so long for me to discover SOLE? Seriously. Just get them. Thank you, SOLE, for making my foot life pain-free! I will always be grateful, and I will always have your footbeds in my shoes!

Amazing !!!

I have had two different SOLW products. Both have been amazing and have helped me tremendously. The first was before foot surgery and without it I would not have been able to work the way that I did. After surgery I did not need as much support and they had something for that as well. The met pad is a life changer and it fits perfectly to my foot even without heating in the oven to form it. I will have to have insoles for the rest of my life and this will definitely be the place I will get all future insoles for myself and family!

Extremely Helpful!

I had been dealing with foot pain for quite some time and tried a few products but the problem was never truly resolved. Then I heard about SOLE from the Darkhorse podcast and I have faith in their endorsements so I went for it! It was a great call. I have been using the footbeds for several weeks now and the results are very noticeable. The foot pain is basically gone and I'm on my feet for hours at a time. Also, they're very easy to transfer from shoe to shoe. Highly recommend!

Best inserts EVER!

I started with one pair of these, you know they're pricey so I wanted to make sure...Well, I made sure and I've ordered more because they are great and I need them for each pair of shoes that I have! I am flat footed and pronate, I have spent 10x this much on inserts that don't work or don't last. These are totally worth it, do yourself a favor and get them now!

Great Product

My wife and I are both using the Medium with met pad and they really help with foot pain. We normally walk 4 miles a day and found that SOLE has helped with eliminating foot pain. We are wanting to try the Thick next.

Just buy them!!!!

My son has plantar fascitis and could hardly walk after practice. We have tried many different insoles and finally tried these. I can honestly say that these were the only ones that worked. With in a week he could go to practice without foot pain afterwards. We are getting ready to order him more for his other shoes!!!! He wears a size 8 basketball shor and the size 8 insoles fit perfectly with out trimming. They do not slide around and he has zero complaints!!!! Trust me.....we have tried them all and these are the only ones to help him.

No more evening foot rubs

I am impressed by my SOLE inserts. My husband bought them for me because he saw how sore my feet were after my 12 hour shifts. I really felt a difference in how my feet felt. They were not as sore and the fatigue I felt in the arch seems to have gone away. I would recommend this product as would my husband who does not have to hear me complaining after each shift.

Pain relief at an affordable price

It was a foot doctor who told me I had flat feet and the same doctor that told me about SOLE footbeds. I was looking at cortisone injections for bursitis in my left hip and within 2 weeks of wearing the inserts, all the pain went away! When I stopped wearing them the pain came back. I started wearing them again and the pain went away. Why I stopped it beyond me, and I cannot live without these! I also used to switch them between shoes but it doesn't always work as they mold to the shape of not only the foot but the shoe as well. So I just bought 3 pairs for my new runners and a spare to tuck away.

Great FIt!

Really love these insoles. The Met Pad is a nice addition and adds a nice "bump" in the middle of the pad that supports the padding of my foot. Super durable and super form fitting. Great value!

AMAZING product saved my feet

I am very flat footed. Add to that I had MAJOR ankle surgery on my right ankle (all 3 sides opened up, bone removed, ligaments cut and re aligned, screws in heel area) so it’s safe to say I have daily foot pain. After resting my foot is stiff and sore like a peg leg. For an active person like myself it wasn’t good. Tried all kinds of creams, pain killers, even other inserts and orthotics…. Today I wore my SOLE inserts for the first time in my steel toed work boots…. It was LIFE CHANGING! After 8 hours on my feet, ladders, hauling heavy items…. NO FOOT PAIN!!! I’ve been home and rested… went to get up and it’s honestly like I have been given a new right foot! I am so thankful for my friend referring me to your company!!! I only wish I would have done it about 4 years ago!!! I can’t even thank you enough for these SOLE inserts…. You have given me my full life back! Thank you doesn’t seem appropriate, I will tell everyone I know about your amazing inserts. Lifetime purchaser here.

No more ankle pain when snowboarding

I was getting horrible ankle pain in my front foot while snowboarding and my trainer told me it was because of my flat feet. The SOLE thin beds fit in my boots perfectly and now I ride all day with no pain!’

Great fit for high arches!

I bought this product after I realized the old orthotics in my shoes had caused my foot to have plantar fasciitis. The SOLE inserts have been a significant part of my recovery and I will definitely be able to keep running now! The custom fit that you are able to do was great and my foot doctor didn’t even require me to get custom orthotics!

COMFORTABLE SLIDE SLIPPERS

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE COMFORTABLE SLIDE SLIPPERS. I WAS TOLD BY MY DOCTOR TO WEAR AN ARCH SLIPPERS, AND WHEN I ORDERED IN INSOLES, I SAW THE SLIPPERS OFFERED, I ORDERED AND IT HAS BEEN MY ONLY SLIPPERS I WEAR. VERY COMFORTABLE AND HELPED MY FOOT PAINS

HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSOLES

HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. CURED MY ACHING FOOT PAIN

Decreases my foot knee and back pain!

I have been using SOLE supports for years, because they help control my pronation and plantar fasciitis. In turn my knee and back pain are reduced by 80% and 40% respectfully. They keep me active and I can't thank you enough.

Changed Everything!

Great purchase! They fit well in my shoes and eased my foot pains. They are very comfortable and significantly decreased my flair-ups with plantar fasciitis.

Too Thick

Wanted more support in my running shoe and this footbed was highly recommended by several sources and the footbed finder suggested the Active Medium. I found this footbed to be too thick and it raised my foot too much and caused a lot of rubbing around my heel and I couldn't get my shoes to fit comfortably any more. I swapped to the cork thin footbed and it helped a lot.

Great insoles. Super customer service.

My Podiatrist recommended SOLE orthotic inserts. He said they were as good as the custom ones his office could order. He knew the price and told me which model to order. He also told me to not go barefoot. He said SOLE had a flip flop with the orthotic built in if the inserts worked. I ordered just the inserts at first. They came within 3 days They were easy to adjust to. I have been wearing them for 2 months. It seems to be correcting my foot issues. So I ordered another pair of inserts and the flip flops. They took longer to arrive. I emailed the company about the order. They responded right away. I am very satisfied.

No SOLE means no foot comfort!

I have been using the SOLE Active Medium w/ Met Pad for years. I have always been extremely satisfied with this product. I did venture "off course" and tried the ReCORK prior to my latest purchase and, while comfortable, they were noisy (squeeky), so I returned to the Met Pad and 100% satisfaction!

Love this product

I wish I knew about these sooner! I can run long distances again without any discomfort on the bottom of my foot.

Love my Soles

I have been wearing my soles for a month or so. I have them in my Ugg boots and sneakers. I'm on my feet all day at work and they really help. The soles are so comfortable, I love how they mold to your foot and the arch helps so much... If I could afford it I would buy the soles for every shoe I own.

Awesome insoles!

This was my first purchase of SOLE insoles. I heard about this company by doing a Google search for ski boot insoles for metatarsal foot pain. I've been suffering from foot pain in the balls of my feet for a number of years and my ski boots exacerbate the pain. I've tried other insoles in my boots which has helped a bit, but I still experience some pain after a day of skiing. I purchased these insoles prior to this year's ski season and so far, they have helped tremendously! I just returned from a 4-day ski vacation, which normally would cause a lot of foot pain, and I was so impressed with how comfortable these insoles are in my ski boots and that I was able to ski for multiple days in a row with hardly any discomfort. I plan on purchasing another pair of insoles for my street shoes as even regular shoes cause discomfort when walking.

Great orthrotic

I hurt my foot a couple of months ago and couldn't find an orthotic that was tolerable. SOLE provides great support without being too hard or soft. I have tried everything from $5 gel inserts to $100+ orthotics and I must say that these are noticeably better than anything I've used in the past.

LOVE SOLE

Love SOLE inserts. So comfortable and easy to fit. I am extremely flat footed and used to have to spend $ 800 for lift but my doctor recommended SOLE inserts, I love them and no longer have back or knee pain.

Great Insoles!

I'm always looking for insoles for my boots. I have high arches, narrow heels, and am prone to plantar fasciitis. I have spent a lot of money on custom insoles throughout the years for my boots, with mixed results. I have been very pleased with these insoles. These fit the boots well, size wise. I have purchased them in thick, medium and thin thicknesses to accommodate different sock thicknesses for warm to cold seasons. I use these in my mil spec boots, my hunting boots, and my hiking boots. I haven't had much luck with heating them to form to my foot faster, but I just break them in with a few miles walking, and they seem to form to my feet pretty quick. These are new for me, so I can't speak for durability yet. Very pleased with them so far. Get some!

Solved some issues

Have been wearing these for several months and has resolved some Met pain issues in my foot. Comfortable and fit well in hiking boots that I have with almost no trimming and adjustment. Would like to see different Met levels. Could use a bit more Met padding for me personally. All in all, a good investment for foot comfort.

Firm, supportive yet comfortable

I have been a SOLE product user for 10+ years. Recently bought a couple of new pairs. Me and my wife love them. I think they really help with my asymmetrical foot pronation and reduce my neckpain. They are made with quality materials, comfortable to wear and most importantly orthopaedic grade as I prefer good stability and support.

Ahhhhh!

I have loved SOLE Flips for over 13 years. I first began using their footbeds a short time later. I just found their Active Wide Thins last year. They fit beautifully inside of my Keen summer and winter shoes. The are comfortable right out of the box. Of course heating them and fitting them to my foot is even better. My whole family of five is now using them.

Cork feels great!

I had a torn tendon in my foot. My podiatrist prescribed me orthotics which were too aggressive and hurt my foot. I researched inserts and realized that cork, a more natural element, would give my feet support but yet give some "give" for the natural walking movement. I decided to try SOLE and I am very pleased. They are thin, give support and the "give" I need to keep my tendons flexible.

SOLE is the best product for your feet

Starting from the beginning, about five years ago I got plantar faciitis on both my feet. Having to deal with the pain while working on feet for 8 hours a day was rough. Almost a year later I found SOLE products through a foot specialist. My life changed and I was cured of this issue within 6 months of using your insoles and sandals every time I was on my feet. Now with these clog style shoes I use for work everyday I feel confident my feet will never have any issues ever again. I highly recommend SOLE to anyone who works on their feet for any length of time. These shoes are made with high quality materials, the pair of sandals I wear only when I'm home I've wearing for 6 years and it's still in great shape. Extremely comfortable and fit very well.

Cycling Insoles

If you’re looking for an insole for cycling shoes the Performance Thin with met pad is your answer. These fit great in several different pairs of shoes without taking up a lot of volume. I have noticed a significant reduction in ankle/ foot soreness during long rides over the winter. The lightweight cork is great to keep the weight down as race season approaches. Every level of cyclist should own a pair of these!

Works great for Mortons Neuroma and tendonitis

The Active Wide Medium insoles have helped me with Morton's Neuroma and foot tendonitis a lot. Even before I did physical therapy, which cemented my recovery and as soon as I put these in my sneakers or shoes my foot felt much better. With the therapy and Soles my foot issues are practically gone. I use these insoles for everyday walking, running, and extremely challenging hiking in Drakensberg.

Comfortable and supportive

I bought the Men's District by ReCORK for my grandson who requires orthotics due to extra-wide, flat feet. He absolutely loves the shoes. He doesn't have to have any additional support structures with the built-in footbeds. The contemporary style gives him the opportunity to have support without the obvious "orthotic shoe" look. Unlike previous shoes we've tried, he hasn't experienced any foot pain or fatigue during long wear use. I'm very happy with the quality, value, and durability of these shoes.

Great Soles!

Very comfortable shoes! Despite what seems like a lack of padding in the foot bed it’s shape and contour maximizes the natural padding of your feet.. I have one fallen arch and one that’s not so bad, but they’re comfortable and both of my feet with no additional insole. The fit is a little snug, but I prefer that, you may go a 1/2 size up if you like your shoes a little loose.

Great for all day

I have been using the thick foot beds for at least three years. I am a big guy and my feet would get tired and sore by the end of the day. Before I started using this SOLE product, I would frequently have issues with plantar fasciitis. Now, going for a two mile walk is no problem. My feet are not sore the next day. I have a couple pair of these. They are easy to get them into my shoes and to conform to my feet. Also, I know this might revoke my man card but, I even have a pair in my house shoes.

Amazing footbeds!

I'm blown away how great these footbeds are and they have exceeded my expectations. Way better then any you will find in the shoe stores. I'm using a pair of Active Thin insoles in my Wolverine 1000 mile boots and my 8 year old boots are now oh so dreamy to walk around in and feel brand new again! I have a fairly narrow foot and medium high arches. I lean towards going barefoot a lot ( I do a lot of yoga) and actually love the arch support which has become more subtle after the break in period. these soles get better the more I wear them so do give a bit to break them in properly.

My feet are smiling now

I recently visited the podiatrist 3 weeks in a row for a pain in my left foot right at the heel. They tried inserts, shots, wraps helped a little. But I was kind of shuffling around and not walking the 6 to miles daily as I had in the past. On the last visit one of the young ladies who assisted in my various treatments told me I should check out your website and buy the “Active Thick” version of their insert. I did and I was immediately better. I was so pleased I ordered a pair of your shoes and I am very pleased with them also. I am back to walking 6 to 8 miles per day with no pain. Thanks

Best I've found hands down.

I've been wearing these for a month or two now in my work boots, and a pair in my big rubber boots. I'm size 15 almost 16 and these are one of the few arch supports I can wear that actually fits my foot size. These last about a year or so with constant daily usage around the farm. Much easier to get used to than the hard inserts, and I have no arch pain since I started using them years ago when they were made for Redwing. I can't live without them. Does take about two weeks to get your arches used to some real support though, and if your arches are shot, wear them for an hour a day for the first week. Once I got used to them, my arch pain stopped and my knee pain got significantly better.

Red Sole inserts

I have used SOLE products for about 4 years . They were recommended by a foot doctor. I usually purchase the black SOLE inserts. The shop where I purchased them closed so I used the online site and did the online help for selection . It recommended the red SOLE Inserts because I have pain in the ball of my foot and need arch support. I've been wearing the red inserts for about 2 weeks and they do help with arch support and metatarsal pain. Since I do most of my walking in my neighborhood sidewalks & streets, sometimes I wish I had the added cushioning of the black inserts.

First Time Buyer

I was recommended this brand by my podiatrist. Bought these (my first insole purchase from any company) for the first time, put them in my hikers, and instantly foot pain receded. Every day there was less and less foot pain. until I have not had any problems now for months. I will be a lifetime user for sure!

Better than the old plastic soles!

I was a long time user of SOLE inserts for correction of over pronation associated with flat feet. They have made a huge difference for me as far as foot pain and allowed me to walk and jog comfortably for years. I was so excited to discover the they now have a recycled cork product - it's such a great model to have people return their wine corks to stores for re-use. I find that the new ReCORK soles feel springier and more comfortable that the old soles that I relied upon. I have been using them in my Saucony running shoes for 2 months now and they feel great. I wear size 8 1/2 or 39 shoes and found that the size 7/9 insert fit perfectly without trimming. I hope that more companies will follow this model of using recycled materials to create an excellent product.

Out on walks again

My husband has had foot pain for about 2 years now and it just stopped us from going on our walks. Although he still has some pain, the Active Medium soles have allowed him to get back to walking. He has a pair in both of his shoes and will definitely get more as needed. These slipped into his shoes perfectly after the heat up. After standing in them for the few minutes required to form he knew right away these were going to work. Comfortable enough he could wear them all day. No issues of any kind

Active hunter.

I have been using SOLE insoles for about 5 years now. I used to spend hundreds on orthotics. I liked them so much that when I purchased a pair of winter hikers I wanted a pair for them. I purchased the medium thickness as the thicker ones fit a bit tight. They are a perfect fit and give me the familiar support I need for my high arches. I would recommend them to any one with foot problems.

Highly recommended

Really helped for pronation & knee misalignment. It’s all connected, so great for my low back pain as well. I have wide foot & high arch, the Thin insoles are ideal for most of my shoes & run true to size. I love that the heel is NOT elevated which can be common in other brands. It’s wonderfully comfy & I really appreciate SOLE getting on board with Eco friendly materials.

SOLE is the best footbed brand

I have been SOLE customer for 15 years I am also a physical therapist and not only use SOLE myself but also recommend to my family and patients. The arch support and the level of comfort helps with any routine walks, runs, work outs, long standing activities and makes it all less painful. I have recommended SOLE to patients with knock knees, pes planus, plantar fasciitis, foot pain and also knee pain and back pain. They are very comfortable and not to forget, durable too.

Great Insoles

I had a foot issue and was awaiting an appointment to get an orthotic made. Since the pain was increasing and I had an upcoming backpack trip, I needed something for the interim period that might alleviate this pain when hiking. I took a chance on some SOLE Active Medium inserts and couldn't be more pleased. When I showed them to my Podiatrist, she was very impressed and told me to continue using them until the orthotics were made. Well, eventually the orthotics arrived, felt extremely uncomfortable, had to be modified several times, and eventually were abandoned. I have since bought 5 pairs of SOLE insoles over the past year and couldn't be happier. They have eliminated my foot pain, are super comfortable, and are very affordable when compared to custom orthotics.

Nice

Purchased these insoles (size 11 U.S. fit is exact), because my $200 pair of Asics AWL size 11 US, were causing extreme pain to my Achilles tendon. I needed a winter shoe and although the shoe fit great at the store when I purchased them, they certainly didn't after the first 10km. I was forced to go up a half size with my shoes because my right toe was feeling cramped. Decided to purchase both the Active Medium and Thick, because I wasn't sure which would be enough to fill in the extra room in my shoe and possibly elevate my foot to keep the back of the shoe from touching the upper rear portion of my foot. Ran 100 km in the Active Medium and my feet started to feel great after the first 20km, almost instantly (I didn't heat fit them to my feet). After 100km, I decide to try the Active Thick and they filled the extra space in the shoe that was needed and elevated my foot ever so slightly. First impression was a full shoe and feeling like I was 1 inch taller. At first, when I put in either insole, they felt lumpy. After about 20km, they tend to mold to your feet and feel very natural. You can, of course, heat treat them to fit, but I wasn't sure I was going to keep them, so I decided to try them, out of the package. I do get Achilles pain once in a while, but this is probably due to my running technique and not the insoles. I use my Active Medium Soles in my summer runners (Mizuno Wave Sky Waveknit 3 in size 10.5 U.S.), which fit me perfect before inserting the Soles and fit snug after installing. 450km now and still great. I'm sure my shoes will wear out before these Soles will; they will be going in my next pair of Asics AWLs. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Initially I found them to be expensive, now not so much because they work.

Goalie Skates

Returning to the ice after COVID, I was suddenly dealing with constant foot pain every time I put my skates on and I tried different things. I’ve been using Medium SOLE inserts in my field hockey turf boots for about 10 years and started wearing a pair in my everyday shoes about two years ago. I decided to try out the Thin, hoping they would fit comfortably in my goalie skates. With the added foot pain in the sole and forefoot, I also tried the met pad for the first time which only took a little getting used to. The Thin soles fit just fine in my skates and have definitely helped the foot pain. I do remove them after every ice time so the skates dry properly and the rivets don’t rust, which is the only issue as it’s a tight fit around the heel and arch, so it can be a little hard to remove them. I worry a bit that the friction will speed up the wear on the skate liner and/or the insole. I’m trying to figure out an easier way to pull it out with a tab or something, but the pros definitely out way that one con.

Love them x5-6!!!

I have flat feet and the insoles gave me the support that I needed. I initially purchased one pair and now I have purchased approximately 5-6 pairs in 2 years. Once I wear a pair out (3-4 months) I slide in a new pair. They fit great with minimal cutting. I also love that my foot does not slide around in my shoe.

Mortons

I have been diagnosed with Mortons neuroma on my right foot. My chiropractor has the same issue and recommended your insoles with the met pad. It has kept me from having the surgery to sever the nerve on my fourth toe. I wear them 24/7 and it has been miraculous. They are holding up well and are easy to slip in and out.

Bought for work

I have a wide foot and have difficulty with finding work clogs. I been wearing them for several months they are comfortable, the material strength is great and easy to form with the foot. I will purchase another pair in future.

Saved me from years of pain

Highly recommend the SOLE products. After years of off and on pain on my left foot, a friend recommended SOLE to me and I decided to give it a shot. After only a week of using the Active Mediums, my pain went away. I’ve now been a loyal customer for three years and I have been pain free for three years :)

I even use these in my clog slippers

I had developed uncomfortable nerve tingling in the side of one foot beneath the ankle. My podiatrist said I needed to use insoles with support for high arches virtually all the time. I started using SOLE Softec Response insoles not only in my sneakers and boots when I'm outdoors but also in my clog slippers (which fit snugly at the arch with room in the toe box) when I'm at home. The Softec Response insole cover material is comfortable and durable, and the insoles support my feet/arches well and comfortably. They appear to be very well made and look like they will last a long time. After about a month of wearing these insoles, the nerve discomfort went away. I have now been wearing them for three months, and the relief has held up. The SOLE Softec Response insole sizes match my footwear sizes. They have the roomy toe boxes I need for my broad forefeet yet hold my narrow heels in place. I'm going to keep buying the Softec Response soles and wearing them pretty much all the time. What a relief!

My Happiness!

I have used SOLE products for a long time. 7-8 Years with one bottom line: COMFORT without PAIN! I have had foot issues since I was 50 years old ! SOLE was the answer! If you are having any foot pain is good for anyone who is approaching a painful problem with one's feet! Best move I have made for my overall health

These are WONDERFUL!!

I broke my foot many years ago. Years of pain and problems lead me to try the SOLE inserts and FINALLY, I am free of foot, leg and back pain. Thanks to SOLE inserts, I can walk and hike for miles and I'm back to a normal life. I have these soles in all of my shoes and because they're so comfortable, I have purchased them for my family as well. THANK YOU SOLE!!

Great addition to cycling shoes

Put these in my Sidi road shoes. Thin enough to fit well, and a huge improvement in arch support over the stock units. Had to buy a larger size to ensure the arch support fell in the correct spot on my foot, which necessitated a fair bit of trimming to have them fit my shoes. Luckily I could try them on in a local shop, otherwise that trial and error would have been a pain. They’ve been brilliant ever since. Improved stability, power transfer, and no more hot spots or numb toes on longer rides.

Softec Casual

Looking for an insole with arch support. Surface area is very comfortable and moulds to the shape of my foot. Very light materials so they don't add appreciable weight. Highly recommend and will purchase again.

Aussie boots fixed

I had recently replaced my 'Australian' work boots and found them to be painfully uncomfortable compared with my old pair. Assuming that they just needed to be broken in, I bore with it for months. I'd hoped my 12h+ work shifts would break them in and back to the feeling of my old pair. Didn't happen. Nor did trying the old footbeds from my previous boots. I ordered the SOLE footbeds with the most cushioning and the met pad. Had a moment of regret thinking the met pad would be a mistake but a rep coached me to keep the order as is. Essentially the SOLE footbeds have fixed the misery caused by my work boots. I no longer have foot and hip pain from my long shifts. It's been maybe a month now and I'm loving them. Only slight issue is that now my feet are a bit snug against the uppers. A quick tap at the heel moves my toes off the steel toe cap and it's fine. These footbeds have taken away my workboot pains.

Great product

I purchased these for my pre-teen son, his feet grow so quickly that this is a great cost effective way to provide him with the support that his growing feet need. They have been great and offer support to his high arches! The fit his shoes great and have really help to relieve his foot pain.

Will keep buying them

I’ve got a bunion on one foot and bad ankle on the other. After purchasing these soles years ago, the conditions finally became manageable. I have them in every pair of shoes. Pain free walking is a gift that you owe yourself!

Excellent Product

As someone who occasionally suffered from foot pain, I needed a more sustainable solution than prescription orthotics that need routine replacement at a very high price. While perhaps not as precise in foot correction as a customized orthotic, the SOLE Active Medium was a perfect solution for me. A very reasonable price for an excellent product by an outstanding, thoughtful company. I can highly recommend these insoles for anyone needing greater support or an alternative to overpriced orthotics. They resolved my foot pain issues and I'm a happy customer for life.

Perfect for flat foot

I have flat feet and this footbed helped me to reduce the pain while wearing for long periods of time. I recommend this footbed as it has microbial and warm wool properties as well as the arch support.

❤️ SOLE

I ordered the Active Thin for my casual flat Bobs and they fit perfectly! I have metatarsalgia in my right foot and without my SOLE footbeds I can't wear them. I have been using SOLE products since early this past summer and have recently gave a gift of slides to my dad for planter fasciitis and he loves them.

Fixed my feet

I was a little skeptical for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. My arches were collapsed from years of flat insoles, so my feet were pretty sore the first couple times I used these. But after a week or so, the pain went away and my feet straightened out. I now can walk and stand for hours without foot pain.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I can not write enough good things about my SOLE sandals! They are so comfortable and I no longer have back pain when I wear them. I actually love the men's sandals more but only because the straps are a bit looser than the women's and my foot isn't wide but more rounded on the top. I even have my family buying them and loving them! :)

Flat foot insert

This was a replacement. I am not sure it was the exact one I had before but my flat foot is not hurting so I am happy with it. It fits in my shoe correctly.

I wear them all year long!

I just love your sandals. I have gotten my 4 sisters to wear them too. I'm flat footed and used to wear orthotic sandals that were very limited in design. I just LOVE my SOLEs! I think I have been wearing them for about 7 years or so. I use to only buy 1 new pair a year. I use them like slippers during the winter. Great support and love the new colours. I wear a 9 and they always fit just right.

Women’s Mendocino slide support

Very comfortable fit. Purchased to help relieve foot and lower back pain. Works great, full support sandals that are adjustable. Thank you SOLE for your support!

Every Pair of Shoes

I have a very high arches, arthritis in my feet and a tendency to get plantar fasciitis. I have to wear innersoles in my shoes all the time. I have used SOLE for years. They give me the best support and prevent any foot pain. Grateful.

Great Insole

I have been using inserts for decades. I have low arches. I have tried MANY different products including $500 custom orthotics. I am also a runner. 20-25 miles per week. Expensive customs wear out. Not unlike any other. It can become a money drain. Off the shelf insoles from various suppliers are very generic. Too spongy, not light weight, not enough arch support and wear out quickly. A friend passed along to me a recommendation from his podiatrist. "SOLE" insoles. I looked over a lot of info from the SOLE website as well as from other sources and decided to try the SOLE Active Medium. SOLE provides a wide variety of insoles, as well as other products, to suit MANY different needs and foot and body designs. This alone separates SOLE from other offerings. It is also very obvious that they have done their due diligence on R&D and have included some very smart and experienced people into the works to develop products for a wide dynamic of people and purposes. I have low arches and a knee that has had cartilage repair and a torn stretched to useless ACL. (Skiing injuries from my youth). The soles obviously won't repair these things but provide support and alignment that allow me to run comfortably and vigorously without pain. I bought my first pair, used them for about 2 months and then bought another pair. All total I have been on them for about 5 months now. I also played Hockey for decades. Skate providers went away from traditional leather outer shells quite a few years ago and adopted moldable outer shells. You warm up the skate in an oven, quickly put them on, lace them up tight and the skate adopts the shape of your foot. Providing a very custom fit. It took a minute but once I got used to them I fell in love with the technology. The EVA base in the Active Mediums is very much similar. I did not put them in the oven I just put them in my shoe and wore them to shape. It took running on them about 10 times until they formed to fit. This wear in period was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning but since then they have been awesome... Now they fit great and are beyond comfortable. They are super supportive, lightweight, and I can trust them to be perfectly in place with every stride. I love the product, I love the price point. Customer service has been excellent. I am absolutely a SOLE customer for life. You might think that I am just a shill for SOLE who is being somehow compensated. I assure you that I am NOT. I'm a very satisfied customer who is simply illustrating my experience with their product. This is a product that I truly need and very much appreciate. I am 61 years old. A life long athlete. This product allows me to continue to enjoy training and competitive athletics... Priceless.... Thank you SOLE

Great support

I have very high arches, narrow feet and plantar fasciitis. I gave been told I am high risk for collapsed arches, told that's very painful, and have been going to physiotherapy for foot and related knee pain. Custom orthotics were quoted at $300 with Insurance only covering maximum 50%. I thought I'd give these a try first! I did not heat fit them as I was worried about getting it right, instead choosing to fit them by wearing. First few days were an eye opener, my toes clenched and I was uncomfortable wearing them for long periods if time. 2-3 hours at once was enough. I am on my feet, running after kids all day at work so I needed more support than drugstore insoles. After wearing them for a week my feet felt so much better at the end of the day! I really needed the extra arch support and my feet have relaxed, no more toe clenching! I will be getting another set for my ski boots and anticipate a much more comfortable downhill ski season this year. 100% would recommend trying these before getting expensive orthotics if you have high arches.

Made a huge difference

I had tried every non surgical / non drug solution for my planter fasciitis without success. I tried SOLE fully expecting it to not to make much of a difference but I was surprised. SOLE has reduced my foot pain by at least 75%. I would say that is a huge win. I was disappointed that the mediums wouldn't work in some of my shoes and so I ordered some thins and the problem is solved. I am totally pleased with my experience with SOLE

A very good buy

I bought from SOLE because I needed orthopedic mule for a problem I have with a foot for many years. The product fits my criteria : shoe support point, comfortable to wear every day at home. My previous pair lasted 2 years. Very good buy that I recommend.

Foot saver!

I have suffered for a year with plantar fasciitis, and wasn't aware of these inserts until my daughter suggested I give them a try. What a relief! The support they give has remedied my pain and I can now walk distances never considered prior. I am in process of now ordering inserts for all my footwear, they are a lifesaver!

Game changer

I have genetic flat feet. I'm 44, and have lived the "strenuous life." Very active - hiker, power lifter, stone mason, former Marine. Over the last 4 years I've developed pttd, and over the last 5 months it's gotten very painful. As someone who can usually physically do whatever I want, having to avoid simple things like stairs has been very difficult physically and mentally. I have tried lace up ankle wrap braces, custom rigid orthotics that cost 1000.00 dollars, special shoes, and been religious about foot strengthening- they all sort of work, but there's always some pain. I have routinely been told "otc" orthotics aren't effective. Regardless on a whim I bought a pair of SOLE insoles, and after I put them in my gym shoes -INSTANTLY - the pain went away almost completely. I bought a second pair for my Danner hiking/work boots, with the same result. I can't wrap my brain around how there can be such an immediate dramatic change, but running up and down my stairs without a second thought or wincing in pain is absolutely amazing. I haven't worn them long, but they seem durable. I hope they hold up, though for this level of regained mobility, I'd buy a new pair every month if I had to. My hope is, as they are clearly relieving the strain on my tibial tendon and over pronation, over time with continued wear and foot strengthening I can reverse some of the damage done.

Amazing foot bed

I've been using this product for 2 years. I started having sore feet and legs.. tried everything until I came across these footbeds. So I jumped in and I will never go back.. amazing. Gave me relief. I just need more for every shoe.

Life-changing

Before using these inserts, my feet hurt every day, all day long. After a few days of using these inserts, I have zero foot pain. Truly life-changing.

Best flip flops ever

This is my second pair of the Balboa flip flops (black) and I love them. They are sturdy and very comfortable - especially if you have a medium to high arch. I hate a flip flop that feels like its going to slip off your foot - not these! They are tight fitting - but not too tight that it is uncomfortable. You can wear them with jeans, shorts, swimsuits, and dresses. Yes, they cost a bit more than your typical flip flop, but well worth it. The ONLY reason I bought a 2nd pair is because my dog decided it was toy. Otherwise, these are long lasting. I also bought the Baja Flip (bone) and love these as well. Figured I'd try another type of flip (and color) and I was not disappointed. Buy your next flip flop from SOLE - great service and the product is 2nd to none.

Good Footbed

The SOLE Active Thick was comfortable from the 1st moment I slid my foot into my boot. It has remained comfortable. The cork helps keep feet cooler working on hot pavement. I purchased them for more support, and they deliver.

Del Mar Sport Flip

The flip has a metatarsal cushion which definitely improves my comfort. I experienced pain in the metatarsal area of my foot and the flip resolves this issue.

Comfortable with support

I got these for my work boots and regular shoes. They are both comfortable and supportive. The met pad also adds some extra cushion mid foot area

Best slippers

I have previously used Superfeet, and custom orthotics. I tried SOLE, and found that they are as good or better than even the customs. As I am into my 50's, my arches have fallen, and my feet hurt. Occasional bouts of plantar fasciitis also cause me grief. I have put SOLEs in most of my shoes/boots. Depending on the fit of the boot, I have used thin to thick SOLEs with great success, and even improved fit. I also bought "slippers", the SOLE flip flops that I wear in the house as much as I can remember to. These made a huge difference in my foot pain, or lack of. Highly recommend to ease your foot pain.

color of sole

Just looking inside my shoe to see the flash of red is fun. And the custom (heat-) molded sole works wonders in multiple shoes. This 'find' could have saved me from months of foot discomfort due to supination. The few times I have forgotten to insert the sole into the shoes I'm wearing, by the end of a couple of hours I'm not comfortable. I've worn the soles 2 months and counting. Too many choices: several price and material options concerned me at first, but were easily narrowed down with the SOLE online personal quiz. Glad I finally found the right shoe soles to make walking comfortable.

Best Sandal Ever

Catalina Sport Flip sandals are the best. They have an arch which gives your foot support. The material is comfortable. The look is classic. I have been buying these for years and need no other sandal.

Great footbed

Great inserts! I have been wearing them now for a month or more. My hard orthotics were uncomfortable. I wasn't able to stand for long periods, which my job requires. My feet were always tired and sore at the end of the day. These are very comfortable and my chronic foot pain has diminished significantly. It's like wearing the right shoe with the right amount arch support. They fit perfectly into any shoe. My old orthotics were very wide and stuck out from my instep stretching the shoe. These basically replace the shoe's original foot bed. I wear a 9.5 shoe and bought a size 9. i will be buying another pair for my hiking shoes but will get a size 10. I can feel the end of the insert in my sneakers. It doesn't bother me or cause any pain but I will get a size bigger and trim if need be. Price is right too considering the price of hard orthotics.

Very helpful

I have had the Active Thick pads for a couple months and they have really helped me with my Morton’s Neroma. It is a quality product and really gave the area in my foot that neede the proper support exactly what it needed and it feels so much better. It was also a great experience on ordering and getting the product. Thank you sooo much!

wonderful

I absolutely love my Catalina sport flips! I will wear them all year long. I had foot surgery and required orthotics but these saved me from having to wear closed in shoes all the time. They are not only comfortable but sturdy and supportive. So fabulous that I have to hide them when I'm not wearing them so that my daughter doesn't make off with them. I may have to get her some for Christmas!

The best insoles available

These are the best insoles available anywhere. I started out using the SOLE DK Signature insoles and switched to these when they were discontinued. All of my SOLE insoles have been great, but these are my favorites. I have them in all of my shoes, boots and running shoes. Since I switched to SOLE from Superfeet I’ve had no more issues with plantar fasciitis, and no foot pain or fatigue. They aren’t cheap but they are worth every penny. Try them. You’ll be glad you did.

Immediate Results

The SOLE insert with met pad has really eliminated my heel and foot pain. I could see a difference the day I put it on. That achy heel and painful feet feeling is gone. Thank you SOLE.

Love mine!

Love these inserts! I found out about them following a foot injury and now I wear them everyday. I keep these in my work shoes for long hours on my feet. Fantastic rigid arch support for those hard concrete floors.

Foot support indoors

My feet hurt on the top, much of the time. Although I have good shoes, I was going barefoot in my home. I had these same sandals years ago, still do, as a great outdoor shoe. When a supportive slipper was suggested to me, I thought of the SOLE sandal. They immediately felt great and my feet have been much better since I wear them all the time indoors. The support is fantastic. I would recommend them for both indoor and outdoor use. The material is very comfortable; my feet don't sweat in them as they do in others. I purchased black though I would have considered other colours.

GO to Footbed

HI SOLE, Let's just say if you ever decided to discontinue this model of footbed, I would have to find a new "go to" SOLE product. The arch height, strength and forefoot thickness is ideal for a wide range of foot types and footwear options. Thanks SOLE for making such a great workable product Sincerely, Deanna Certified Pedorthist

Pad is in just the right spot

Needed a slider or flip for after a run or soccer game. Saw that these had a metatarsal pad and wanted to see if that would alleviate some of the post run abuse my feet suffer from. So far, so good. Solid construction, comfy padding (that included the bump for the metatarsal), the band over the top of the foot and between the toes is soft and comfortable as well.

Great for golf

I now have three pairs of these thin insoles. I use them in my golf shoes, hiking shoes, and walking shoes. My first pair was a size 8 (my normal shoe size) but then a salesperson at REI suggested I place my foot on larger sizes to get a better fit on the arch placement. Size ten actually fit my higher arch perfectly. So now I buy size ten and trim the toe end to fit into my shoes. This also fits my wider toe box shoes well. I used to buy the “Super” brand, but only buy this brand now. I naturally pronate and have a neuroma and my feet feel great. The material lasts a long time and the thin version fits in most of my shoes.

love this product

This product gives great support to my high arches. As a woman with very large feet (12.5ee) I have a heck of a time finding shoes and work boots that will fit my feet correctly... I wind up buying mens sizes that fit poorly. Your product is a complete life saver to help adjust the fit to my actual foot. Keep up the good work, I am a customer for life.

Supportive Sandals

I had foot surgery 3 years ago and have been wearing SOLE insoles ever since. This is not your regular flip flop. The sandals have excellent support and look good too. I can wear them all day and have no pain on my feet.

Game changer

I have been wearing the Performance Wide Medium in my work shoes for over a month now, and they have helped my foot pain at the end of the day. I am 57 years old and average about 15000 steps a shift, so I needed the help. The only drawback is this model does make a significant weight increase to the shoe. I just put my Active Wide Medium into my New Balance walking shoes. Within my first walk I knew this was a massive improvement to the performance of these shoes. They give the same feel as the thick model, without taking away from the shoe’s cushioning and do not add a noticeable amount of weight. I am buying 2 more pairs right away. If you are looking to try SOLE, I think that the Active Medium is the best place to start.

smiling feet

I needed quality XL size insoles to stop my foot pain. SOLE was a home run for me. Easy to buy and exactly what I needed. Life is good when you find a company that helps supply what you need without a hassle. My feet thank me everyday.

Foot Pain

Occasional foot pain was bothering me. I puchased the insole and it has helped tremendously. I can now enjoy golf and long walks with no discomfort

Metatarsal Pad insoles

I bought this product because I had pain on the ball of my foot and the Dr. Suggested a metatarsal pad insole. I have been able to hike again without pain. I am so thankful I bought these! My runner is size 7 and the insole is a size 6 and fits perfectly into my runners and even into my Toms.

Awesome!

This was my first purchase of a SOLE insole, and I must say I am happy that I did. Admittedly, I was hesitant to spend so much on something I'd never actually seen or touched. In 2020, I've spent hundreds of dollars on trying to find a product that actually did what it said it would do. These insoles DO! Worth every penny. Im a bigger guy and have a habit of quickly wearing out the arch support that exists in my shoes. Over the past year, I have been doing a lot of regular walking (7-10km daily) and hiking. I purchased the SOLE insoles to help support my feet in the Altera Lone Peak 5s that I bought earlier this season. After nearly 1000km of use, I am a hard-core believer in how well they work and how durable they are. My feet feel GREAT- no more planar fasciitis, no more foot cramps. What's more, the insoles still feel and function like they did when I first pulled them out of the oven to custom-fit them to my feet. They perfectly fit the wide toe box of my Lone Peak 5's, too! These will easily outlast my shoes and I'll be using them in their replacement. Thank you, SOLE!

Best sandals ever

I have bought 3 pairs of these sandals. I have problems with my right foot and they are probably the most comfortable shoe I can wear. The met pad helps my foot. If I put a regular pair of flip flops on I cannot walk in them. So thankful that I found these.

Good for plantar fascia

I have diagnosed plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Especially, I have heel spurs. I have used two different brand footbeds (Dr. Scholl's and Trek Support) for my injury. My PT specialist suggested putting a SOLE brand footbed. When I put on it in my regular shoes and wear it, it gave pressure on my foot arch a lot and felt really different immediately. It did not give me any pain in my heel spur. I used it only for seven days. So far, it is really positive. I just ordered three more to put in my all shoes (two Thin for tennis shoes, one Medium for working shoes).

Relief

I was recently in a lot of foot pain at the ball of my foot and was informed by doctor that it was matatarsal and to see a foot specialist. Without medical coverage this can cost a min of 500$ for appointment and orthotics… I found this company and decided to try them… I get a lot of relief from my Active Medium with met pad insoles and would highly recommend them!!

Perfect for runners

The performance line is excellent - the cork molds nicely to the foot using the oven heat method. I found the medium thickness to be overly bulky in both my road and trail running shoes and so tried the performance thin instead - much better. The cork provides a bit of cushioning along the bottom of the foot and is not too aggressive into the arch. Sizing recommendation is spot on. I’m a size 9 in most casual shoes, a 9.5 in most runners, and the 10 fits without any trimming adjustment required. Bonus that the cork is recycled. A great product to promote sustainability.

wearing for years

I used the Active Thick for work for about 6 years for work shoes as a server and in winter boots, now I use them for walking shoes too. I get pain in my heel when I don't have enough cushion so I like these best for walking in, especially for long periods. With the right shoes I can walk for many hours with no pain, even on harder surfaces. Not as good as the Medium for running in because they are more rigid, but much better for when I'm not running. I need to size up tight-fitting shoes by a half size to allow these to fit as my usual size 9 runners made me feel like I was losing circulation with these in them but feels great with a 9.5. My boots still fit them fine with a 9. Immediate improvement when switching to a fresh set and then gets better in the next couple wears as it molds to the foot.

So comfy, even for "hard-to-fit" feet

These flip flops are amazing! It's my second pair (in a different color). They take a couple days to get used to the support, but it's just what I need! My feet are VERY difficult to find sandals or shoes for. A bunion on 1 foot plus high-aches. My feet hurt everyday. Not saying these completely alleviate the pain, but they greatly reduce it! Thank you, SOLE. I'm a convert!!

Love these shoes!

These are great supportive shoes for everyday. They are very comfortable and light. You wouldn’t think you are wearing supportive flip flops they are just like regular everyday shoes - but they stop foot pain and plantar fasciitis. These are the only flip flops I wear and have worn for several years. Definitely worth the money!

Mendocino slide for foot relief

I had purchased an earlier model of the slide that had a fixed neoprene top which had stretched out making the fit too loose. When I saw the Mendocino slide with adjustable Velcro straps I was delighted. I have been wearing them around the house on wood floors to give my feet orthotic support and they are pure comfort!

Mimi Straka

Thanks SOLE!

The Mateo Sport Slide is very comfortable and is helping my foot pain on the balls of my feet. I've been wearing them much of the day for about a month. It fits pretty well, though it's a bit long for my foot. I usually wear a size 8. It's light, which is nice, so my feet don't get tired when wearing them. I would like it to be available in other colours though, especially a light, white or cream colour for the summer months. Thanks SOLE!

Great improvement on the sport slide

Bought these for Hubby as he had an older version of the Slide but after many years they definitely stretched out due to the type of material ( neoprene). These are a HUGE improvement in that the material is more firm, and they have the 3 velcro straps which can keep them snug on your foot. He loves these so much I had to buy him a 2nd pair just in case they sell out ! He wears them with everything and great to even walk far in them as they do have the arch support! Well done on this design, SOLE!

Totally works!

After years of tortured feet I went to see a real podiatrist. She recommended these insoles, and I got a pair. They make the shoes fit my whole foot in 3D, not just the outline of the footbed (length & width). I spend whole days in those shoes, without thinking about my feet at all. Truly a personal breakthrough. Highly recommended,

Awesome product

The Active Thin insoles are incredibly useful for me. I started to use them 7 years ago after a piece of advice from a podiatrist as I am having a mild flat-foot and I was getting sole pain after walking or running. Since I used them, my problem disappeared completely. I am using them in all my shoes, whether classic ones or sports ones. I usually remove the original footbed and replace them with my SOLE insoles and once they are in place, I am comfortable with no walking issue. I did not have to mould them as I believe they should maintain their original curve to support the foot arch. At least this worked for me. I have bought 8 pairs up till now to cover all my shoes. Highly recommended product.

Great support and comfort!

I had pain in my foot for years. Nothing seemed to help it until my doctor recommended this insert. I wear them for every workout, and walking and hiking. My foot no longer hurts. I recommend them highly!

Helps My Plantar Fasciitis

I recently bought my second pair of SOLE Active Thick insoles. Plantar fasciitis causes me a lot of pain in my right heel. Along with proper stretching and ice, supportive and well-cushioned insoles help keep discomfort at bay. The thinner SOLE insoles support my foot in the proper position to avoid trouble, but these are even better because they cushion that tender area that gets battered with every step. I just wish I had a pair for every pair of shoes I own!

Foot Support

Been wearing these around the house instead of UGG slippers. I work from home so was wearing the UGGs all the time. The SOLE sandals help my feet feel more lively when I am playing tennis and minimize some foot ailments I had been developing.

Foot Beds

Been using these for a couple years now. Get a new pair about every 6-9 months and put the old ones in my other shoes. New ones in my Tennis Shoes. Seem to help with support of my high arches and minimizes some foot problems i was beginning to develop from the jumping motion when serving i tennis. I'm 61 years old so need to take care of your feet!

Best sandals ever

I have bought 3 pair of these sandals. I have problems with my right foot and they are probably the most comfortable shoe I can wear. The Metatarsal pad helps my foot. If I put a regular pair of flip flops on, I cannot walk in them. So thankful that I found these.

comfortable

I was pleased to find these Catalina sandals that also can provide the metatarsal support recommended to me by podiatrist this summer when experiencing foot pain. Found these to be very comfortable, enjoyed just slipping them on first thing in the am and hanging out with them. Had a momentary issue with strap rubbing one area, didn't wear for a few days, and now just fine. So glad to have a supportive option for summer wear.

Best Sandal Ever

Having a larger foot with a high and long arch that is in need of a stability, I use the inserts in my work boots and Adidas sneakers, I was excited to see the sandals and they surpassed my expectation in comfort, fit and support.

Restaurant worker

I wear these for work and I stand for long hours. It will form to your feet but still provides the support. The material is good too!! Durable material and cool designs! Would recommend the met pad for problematic foot people like myself!! It helped with the other leg pains bad support caused to knees, ankles, or hips.

Effective replacement for custom orthotics

After several ankle sprains, I consulted a doctor who prescribed custom insoles. As an active tennis player, foot stability, particularly ankle stability, is very important. Recently, I had worn out those custom orthotics and looked for replacement options. The SOLE deep heel cup, and excellent arch support (I have high arches) provide what I need. And at a fraction of the cost of going the custom route again, I’m very pleased. These insoles are excellent for tennis, and the cork provided some nice natural cushioning.

Changed Everything

Attn: Fellow foot pain sufferers! I have for too many years, purchased prescribed shoe inserts at the cost of $300/pair plus and they never seemed to change the game. Let's face it, your feet grow and the prescribed inserts are supposed to be replaced every two years. That's $150/year for not much gain on the pain. I was just about to replace a pair (now $400 pandemic price) when I happened to walk into an REI store and was looking at shoes and talking about my feet and the salesperson recommended SOLE Performance. I will never buy another prescribed insert, full stop. My shoes feel completely different now. From the moment I pulled these warmed inserts from the oven and slipped them into my work boots I knew, this was/is the answer and at $60/pair a tremendous savings. After the oven treatment they formed to my feet and offered instant comfort, arch support and my general foot pain is diminished to an amazing degree. I now have 4 pairs in different shoes and could not be happier. At this price point I no longer have to switch one pair from shoe to shoe, I can now just slip on a pair and walk out the door. The comfort, form fit and sense that my feet are being hugged is invaluable, add to that I am recycling cork and it's a win all the way around. Thank you SOLE and REI salesperson for a life changing moment..

YES!!!

I’ve been rehabbing low to moderate plantar fasciitis on my slender low arched pronated foot. These insoles along with a dorsiflexion sleeping splint are doing the job. Progress accelerated after adding insoles. Planning to try same brand flips. YAY! Note, I’m a PT, had same condition 20yrs. ago - I know of what I speak.

Expect break in period

I am a runner/athlete. Have been for decades. I'm 60 years old and very fit. I run about 25-30 miles per week. I do not have flat feet but my arches are NOT pronounced. Without support under my arches my feet get sore quickly. I have used MANY different types of insoles to support my arches. I have had relatively good luck over the years with top line athletic Dr. Scholl's and also expensive custom orthodics. Dr. Scholl's are a bit heavy and a bit squishy, due to the Gel component and lack of a hardened bottom, but have been okay. Customs have all been a crap shoot and have all been costly. $500 range. A friend made me aware of the SOLE product. I did a lot of reading and photo gazing and concluded that this is a product certainly worth trying. I am a shoe size 10.5 so had to trim the front of the insole to fit. No problem. They cut relatively easily with a good scissor and because I've had to trim about a hundred of the Dr. Scholl's I did not mess it up. I have put approx 50 miles on the SOLE's. They are light weight and have not caused any chaffing or callousing. Although the first few runs there was a bit of instep and toe rub. At first they did not fit my foot shape and seemed VERY ridged. But they have done what SOLE claims and have molded to the shape of my foot. I played hockey for years. I understand how this material works as Hockey Skates also need to be oven baked a couple of times and then worn to adapt to your foot and ankle. At this point everything is great. They're light weight, provide great arch support, there is no squishiness due to them not having a gel component, no heel bruising or tenderness, no foot odor. All good... I've ordered a second pair as well for my daily walking around shoes. Thank you SOLE for a great product.... 5 stars...

Life saving insole

Love this insole. I’ve got a bad case of metatarsalagia and have been on the hunt for non-surgical relief without having to completely replace my sneakers, dress shoes, casual shoes, boots, running shoes and cycling shoes. This insole solved that problem. Easy to swap between shoes but always providing the net relief I need. I love the higher heel cup, the moment you put it in the shoe and lace it up you can feel your heel supported and hugged without being too tight. I cannot recommend the Active Medium with met pad enough!! If you have foot pain, pick a set up and watch the pain become more manageable and hopefully go away!

Really great pair of shoes

I have a very bad case of metatarsalagia in my right foot. I’m a runner and cyclist and have been desperate to find non-surgical relief. I had bought 2 pairs of SOLE Inserts (which I love) but wanted a solution for work where I didn’t have to constantly be trading insoles with other shoes. I came across these Districts and have them a shot. Wow! Very stiff at first but as they began to break in there become my go-to shoe for work and beyond. Comfortable as can be, super stylish, my boss even commented on how great they look. Great look while adding the net relief I needed so badly. It also made me happy to find vegan friendly, eco conscious shoes. I can’t recommend these shoes enough if you’re looking for all the foot support you need packed in a classy casual/dress shoe. I’m absolutely certain that I’ll be buying more products like the District shoe from SOLE. You should too!

Great support for marathon training

I switched from another popular insert to SOLE 3 years ago after a bout of plantar fasciitis & have not turned back. The Met pad provides an extra level of localized support other inserts lack. Even without performing the custom heat molding, the insert fits great! I use them in a stability shoe as well as a performance racing shoe for marathon training & racing. One down side, the cork base cracked across the ball of the foot region. Perhaps this is normal breakdown at the end of the inserts life (wearing period), but I continued to use them without a noticeable issue. Maybe time for another new pair!

Awesome

I was skeptical at first as they were tight in the top where the velcro is to secure my foot. After a few times it loosened up a lot. These feel like having custom orthotics on. Worth every penny and sizing was spot on. I wear a 10.5 and went with an 11.

Great pads

I now have 3 pairs of these for my shoes and 2 pairs for my husband. These are fantastic relief for foot pain, very comfortable and hold your foot in place without movement

Best insole I have ever worn

This is the best insole I have ever had. I threw my doctor made ones away a long time ago. I have been wearing SOLE for about 20 years and have a local foot doctor that sends patients in to get these. I highly recommend them!

Great support for flat feet

I bought these to use in my 'barefoot' style hiking boots, as I tend to overpronate in these. I kept my foot in a proper arch (gripping the floor) while fitting the soles out of the oven to ensure a larger support through the medial arch. This worked great - feet didn't overpronate in the boots any more. The arch support could've been a touch more, and the midfoot support could've been a touch less to be perfect, but overall I'm happy with the insoles. Time will tell how long the insoles will last, but the materials are good and are flexible enough to not interfere with foot movement when walking, so they should be good for a while.

Wonderful

SOLE insoles are the only thing that have helped my plantar fasciitis. I have been using them—mainly the Active Thick—in all of my shoes for over a year now. I highly recommend them to anyone with foot pain.

Amazing Foot Support

My first pair of cork footbeds. I put them in my Rockports and have an amazing combination of foot support. I also wear the SOLE footbeds in my Dunnam Battery Park Shoes to help keep the pain away. I love them and absolutely recommend them.

Better than custom insoles

Due to an old injury I supinate on my left foot. I've tried all kinds of insole products from custom to store bought. With out a doubt, SOLE has been the best insole for the money, hands down. My first purchase was for my walking shoes but I'm going to purchase a pair of the thinner insoles for my athletic shoes, which have a tighter fit. Give them a couple of days to mold to your feet - you won't be disappointed!

Living Pain Free

I suffer with plantars fasciitis and as long as I wear these insoles with met pad support, my foot pain is gone. I have been using SOLE insoles for 4-5 years. They are great in any of my shoes. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I don't even notice them in my shoes. You have nothing to lose except for the pain! I highly recommend buying these insoles for anyone with foot pain or even if you don't - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

The Bombdiggity of Flips

These are the bombdiggity! I have been wearing them essentially everyday for the last 2.4 years. The algae foam is insanely comfortable and molded perfectly to my feet. The synthetic nubuck strap holds my foot in place without being too restricting. The strap fits snug at first, but after wearing consistently in my house for a couple weeks, they fit like a dream! I love the lower profile for my flat feet, as the SOLE footbed provides all the support I need. If you suffer from tired feet and sore knees, these are a must buy!

Perfect fit every time

I have plantar fasciitis and I purchased a pair of SOLE brand inserts. They can be warmed and molded to your foot. They worked so well, I bought two more pairs. I no longer have to buy those rubbery one size fits all inserts. My feet feel so much better and I know they are the perfect fit every time.

Good quality, thick and supportive sole

I have been wearing these Active Thick insoles for about 5 years now. They're my go to. I work on concrete floors in a retail setting so it's extremely hard on shoes. But these are amazing. I used to pay upwards of 400 dolllars for custom fit orthotics but tried these at a fraction of the cost and honestly, they last longer than my orthotics did. They offer amazing support and if you suffer from foot pain, or plantar faciitis, trust me and try these. You will not regret it. I recommend the Active Thick insoles as I have tried 3 other types of thinner ones. These ones just feel better. I tried the met pad ones this time as I usually get the ones without and I love them honestly. Will definitely buy again!

No more foot pain

I put the Active Medium with Met Pad in my indoor workout shoes to see if it helped with my foot pain and occasional numbness. It took a few days to get used to them as my foot was forming them but after that - they have worked great. I no longer dread doing my indoor workout! I have no more pain in my feet.

Walking on Clouds

If you want to feel like you are "walking on clouds".....this is the flip flop for you. I completely forgot I had foot pain(corns) when I slid into these shoes. Soft, flexible with just enough form....heaven. Wore them for 2 hours the first time and the next day for 6 hours....now that's comfortable. The soft "spongy" form fitting base provides all day comfort. I wear them as slippers indoors and sandals outdoors. This is my 4th pair of SOLE Flips and I love them.

SOLE arch support insoles

One foot has a fallen arch as the result of an ankle injury a few months back. It was suggested to me by an athletic trainer to try the SOLE product before going the route of seeing a foot doctor. This might mitigate the pain in my ankle and across the top of my foot, and on the inside of my foot. There was also considerable swelling on the ball of the foot causing some minor numbness. I have been wearing this product for a month or so and can attest to the fact that the pain is negligible and most days the swelling is much decreased, which also lessens the numbness. It is by far the best insole I have ever used...very comfortable. In fact, I am going to order two more pairs for other shoes. Once you warm the insole, slide it into a pair of shoes, and step into the shoe, the insole is definitely shaped to your foot but also then seems to be shoe specific. Thank you for making such a good and affordable product.

So wonderful to be able to wear flip flops again

Having problems with my back and with plantar fasciitis, I hike and have five acres to look after. So back and foot pain was really hard to deal with. Years ago I had got my first pair of SOLE footbeds for pronation and they fixed my pronation which in turn ended my knee pain which threatened to end my hiking. I have a lot of faith in the SOLE product,. Now SOLE is first place I look when I have problems. Two days ago I climbed crossover pass almost 2000 meters of gain 20 km with SOLE inserts and my body feels fine today, I wear the flip flops around the property I am constantly gardening, mowing, pruning, etc and I feel great, by the way I am in my 70’s . Thanks to SOLE I don’t have to slow down

Like magic

My son's feet were hurting really bad after track season started and we were referred to a foot specialist who suggested SOLE. So glad he did because within one day of using Sole, my son was able to run again without much pain. We have only using SOLE for about 6-7 months and just had to buy a 2nd set but my son loves them as he has no pain when using these!!

Great foot bed!

This foot bed is incredible. I have been running and ski touring with it and I am very impressed. Highly recommend!

Finally, I made the right choice this summer

I have been using SOLE inserts with a met pad for a few years. Having bought inexpensive sandals year after year I wanted better quality and a met pad to deal with metalargica (sp?) SOLE was an obvious choice and the Mendocino is perfect with adjustable width, super comfortable foot bed and a met pad! I use these every day, $$ well spent.

No Problem

I would get discomfort and pain after standing all day for work. Since I started wearing SOLE Softec Ultra liners, I don't notice my feet at all. Not having to worry about foot pain is great!

Perfect for my work shoes!

I’m a paramedic on a busy 911 service so I’m on my feet a lot. I purchased these for my work shoes because I was having horrible left foot pain to the point I was wondering if I had a stress fracture and needed to see a doctor. I placed these in my shoes as soon as they arrived and the difference has been phenomenal! I no longer have pain. I believe a lot of my issue was coming from a lack of support for my arches and these insoles provide the missing link. I wouldn’t be mad if it was slightly more “cushy,” but it’s great support and I love that I’m not in pain anymore. Thank you for helping me take care of my feet!

Nice

I had these for about 2 months. Wore them on vacation to the beach and it took a couple of days for my feet and the sandals to adjusts and conform. Now that they have they feel great and I reach for these over my Olukai’s. Now they just need to make a couple of versions of these in brown with a sweat absorbing foot bed!

Huge improvement

I got these footbeds because I have incredibly flat feet and I get a lot of foot pain on my road bike. These are perfect! They give just the right amount of support and cushion. My knees track straight now instead of pronating. I'm using these in Shimano RC9 shoes and they fit perfectly.

Comfy

I've been wearing the Performance Wide Thin insoles for a month and I'm in love. These insoles are so incredibly comfortable. it truly isn't exaggerating to say they've changed how I thought about all my shoes. I used to have no insoles in any of my shoes despite being someone who walks everywhere, and I don't think I'll ever be able to go back. The insole molds to my foot perfectly hugs it without making it hot.

Most Comfortable Sandals

I have had problems with foot pain for years and the SOLE products has brought me much relief. I have 4 pairs of SOLE slides and unless it is snowing or unless I am going to church - I am wearing them. I use them on dry land and at the pool. Thank you

Comfortable

New SOLEs are comfortable. Just had hammertoe surgery and the new footbeds are helping rehab the foot.

Catalina flip flops

I bought these flip flops as I have heel spurs and was in a lot of pain when walking. Have been wearing these for over a month and love the support and look of these and they fit perfect. They are well made and worth the money as I find them very comfortable and the pain in my foot has lessened so much that I wear them in the house and outdoors! I would highly recommend these for anyone suffering any foot pain,

Kimberley Biddiscombe

Foot pain

These slides are comfortable, and fit true to size. They offer support and allow me to find relief from foot pain and swelling in my foot during the day. I like them so much I have one pair for inside and one for outside!

Incredible reduction I'm foot pain

The foot supports I bought are simply amazing. I work as a mechanic for heavy injection molding machines so I'm on my feet all day carrying heavy parts, driving bolts using my legs and feet for leverage and jumping and climbing onto machines. It put a lot of pressure on my feet and I would go home to pounding, swelling feet every day. After I tried these, it was instantly better with the burning pain replaced by only soreness as my feet adjusted to the mold. After about 2 weeks of my feet adjusting to the pads all my foot pain is gone and I go all week without them burning, swelling or hurting so bad they cause a limp anymore. Overall an amazing product especially for the price

My Shoes

I really like the feeling of comfort I get from the shoe, the foot is just right along with where the arch is,it gives me the support I need along with the balance. The reason I bought the product is I have plantar fasciitis and I was looking for a comfortable shoe for the summer. The material is just right for the summer weather. I found out about your shoes from the internet. Thank you

Pure comfort

This is my third paid of SOLE flips and they are the answer to my foot problems. My plantar fasciitis is resolved wearing these.

Great replacement for the spongy factory insole.

Great product, needed more arch support than what came with my work boots. I did go with the met pad, which took some getting used to. Basically the met pad is a small bump on the insole between the arch and just short of the ball of your foot. If I order again, I will not order the met pad. It does not show up on any pictures on the website, it would be nice if the website offered some side profiles of the insole, showing the detail of the met pad option.

Excellent foot bed

I have been using these footbeds for years now. They fit both my shoes and my feet perfectly and are very comfortable. The arch shape is exactly right for my foot and allows me to stand and walk without pain. The material used to make the footbeds is the right combination of flexible and rigid. An all around good footbeds for me.

Great support

I love the support of these with the metatarsal pad. I don't have metatarsalgia or other foot pathologies, but these are quite comfortable. I wish these came in the wide as they're even more comfortable to me than the plain version. I bought these for my new hiking boots and they fit well within the boot after trimming. They bring my heel slightly out of the heel pocket, but as I'm breaking in these new boots, I don't expect to see a problem with rubbing.

Ahhhhhh!

Love these! Comfortable and good looking. Been wearing SOLE sandals over a year now and they are worth the extra price over cheap flip flops and sandals. Glad I got this flip flop style to add to my collection. The met pad makes a difference for me when it comes to alleviating foot pain from chronic osteoporosis and arthritis issues. And they wear well too. Been to the beach and all over wearing these beauties. Good quality material. True to fit. Purchased black but there were other cute color choices too.

Very comfortable

I purchased these flips in June, and find them very comfortable. I wanted something I could walk into to go out to the garden, and kick off when I was done. They 're even comfortable to drive in. I have plantars faciatis and knee arthritis so I needed proper support. The cork footbed is very helpful and I am experiencing less foot and knee pain. I have even work them all day out running errands, and have much less knee pain than before.

Perfect soles

I discovered these footbeds several years ago and loved them. I have high arches and these insoles are perfect for support. They shape to my foot. I have these in all of winter boots and the lifestyle model are in my shoes.

SOLE is number one

SOLE has delivered where others have failed. I have had foot issues for most of my life. One of my major problems is supination. Most insoles address overpronation. SOLE takes care of both. I have been using Performance Medium with Met pad (cork) for about 6 weeks. The medium works great in a pair of shoes I have that are very roomy. I then ordered 2 more pair in the Thin Performance for shoes where I needed a little more toe wiggle. My balance has improved and the achilles heel pain in my right foot is gone. I only wish I had discovered SOLE insoles years ago.

I can count on SOLE

I got my first pair of SOLE inserts maybe 10 years ago. I teach motorcycle riding, and when I do that, I'm walking about eight miles a day on pavement, and I have to wear boots. I got my first pair of SOLE inserts then, and what a difference they made. I actually felt like doing something other than sitting after teaching. A few years later I ended up with surgery for a Morton's Neuroma, and the doctor would tweak other inserts for me to use. Those worked for a little while, but I've had issues for a while with a metatarsal as a result of the surgery. Wearing any shoes that aren't made for problem feet doesn't work. Ahead of an important motorcycle event where I had to dress for the period, I purchased a pair of high top Converse, which I thought I'd wear once for the photo and that would be it. I purchased the Active Thin with Met Pad for the shoes. Perfect! I wore them throughout the week for the whole event and had no foot pain or discomfort. I never thought I would be able to wear shoes like that, but thanks to SOLE inserts, I can.

Husbands feet are happy now

I purchased these for my husband who was having pain in ball of foot. He has not had any pain in that area or his entire foot since the first day of use. He loves these insoles!

Pain relief!

My husband developed plantar fasciitis; we stopped in a local running store and the owner highly recommended the Active Thin inserts. What a difference they have made for him! It takes a few days but with the inserts, stretches and exercise his feet are so much better. When I woke up one more with my feet feeling cramped and on fire, he told me to try the same inserts. Within two days, my pain was significantly less (plus no more bare footing for me). We both have custom inserts from our foot doctor, these Active Thin inserts work so much better for us and last several months. We’re definitely sold!

Significant improvement in foot pain

These sandals are great for anyone who needs a metatarsal pad for comfort. The feeling is night and day compared to standard flat sandals which caused unbearable pain. Time will tell how durable they are, but so far I am very happy with them.

Best out there…

I have been purchasing SOLEs for years and tell everyone I know they are the only brand to buy for not just a good fit, but if you have any issues, back, hip or feet etc, they are the best for proper support. They last for years, so when I say I have been buying them for years, I just have many pairs. The quality is by far the best on the market and they mould to your foot and are so comfortable from the first time on you can wear them for long walks with no issues. Also, the customer support is fabulous.

Excellent

I had been looking for these for a while, as my size wasn't readily available, so when I saw they were in stock, I didn't hesitate. I have morton's neuroma, particular in my left foot, and have to think about proper footwear constantly. I already use several pairs of SOLE customized insoles, so I knew the quality and effectiveness. I've been wearing the Mateo Sport Slides for about a month now, and they're excellent. Fit is perfect, support is exactly what I need, and the quality is great, so they should last a long time. The look is nice also. Very happy with my purchase.

Wonderful

I put these in some cycling shoes that had minor support and they were much improved. I have high arches and a weak right ankle from an old injury. I got the insoles with the hope of improving support for my bad ankle as the more I exercise the more discomfort I feel on it. So far it has helped. I am able to ride further and my feet don't go numb. I think the met pad is a great addition. I was not sure if it would help or fit in the small shoe but the people at sole are right. It just helps your foot conform naturally. It doesn't just take up space, it fills the space and helps your foot feel natural. They fit the small shoes well. The size ten insole required minor trimming to fit a 9.5 shoe. I think the cork is a great material. I am happy to use anything that is recycled or helps the environment in any way.

Foot problem corrector!

I had been having bad foot pain in my big toes when I went to bed after running. I have a high arch, and the podiatrist recommended a metatarsal pad, which helped a little. After adding these insoles to my shoes, toe pain and hip pain went away. I deleted the extra metatarsal pad since these had them built in (a plus for me). Pretty great, and a surprise as I had just accepted that the pains were to be expected with my advancing age (55). I've been using the Performance Thin with Metatarsal pad for about a month now, and it took about a week for me to normalize with them. They didn't have any break in period per se, they just worked fine out of the box. Had to do a little trimming to fit my shoe exactly, but no big deal with a pair of scissors. The cork base is good, and appears to be very durable (I have plenty of cork shoes that last well). The rigid nature seemed like it would be an issue for shoe flex, but I haven't noticed anything different. Glad to be back in the happy zone and out of the pain zone!

customer journeys

I bought my first SOLE footbeds, heavily discounted, at a Sierra Trading. I had never purchased a footbed (that wasn't for ski boots) previously. I actually never even thought about buying footbeds for my regular shoes. I have a low arch and low volume foot so found that the first SOLES did a nice job of supporting the arch and also taking up some room in a slightly-too-wide dress shoe. Let me say that I'm in my 50s and drink a fair amount of wine, so the "ReCORK" initiative struck a cord with me as we're avid recyclers. Fast forward a year and I see an ad for SOLE and notice that my first pair are shot. now I buy TWO. And I love them! Great fit and support and I can rotate them in and out of various shoes. They make good shoes better. The title is "customer journey" and I feel that there are lots of people out there like me...who don't really consider paying a premium over the cost of the shoes for footbeds. But trying is believing. Anyway, great product! I like the frequency (1-2/month) of marketing outreach, and keep up the good work!

Best flip flops I ever had

I had a pair of balboa flip flops for several years without them breaking despite me wearing them every day and in rugged conditions. I hurt my foot a few years ago surfing so a stable footbed is important to me especially since I wear flip flops year round every day. Unfortunately my first pair got stolen at the beach. So I decided to get the same pair again as I was so happy with it. Doing so was a bit of a struggle as I am now living in Mexico and Sole doesnt ship here. As I was going to the states a few weeks later I just had them shipped there and waited a few weeks for them. I love that they use nuissance algae for the footbed, that way I can help clean up an environmental problem.

Worth the money

I just purchased my 2nd pair of these flip flops. The first ones I had, lasted about 3 years. I had originally purchased them to help get past my foot injury which required a lot of support. (Plantar Fasciitis). That problem is long gone & now I just buy them for the quality. I would recommend them for anyone that needs good arch support.

Able to Hike Again

I started using SOLE footbeds three months ago and couldn't be happier. My bunions and flat feet used to get so painful from skiing, hiking, and long walks. I put the Active Medium with Met Pad in my shoes and never looked back. I was able to hike 20 km a day, several days in a row, with zero foot pain or discomfort. Before using these a 20 km hike would have had me in tears and out of commission for a few days. I did find the thick pad took a few days to fit properly to my foot but it was so worth it!

Best garden boots ever!

I have pins and plates in my one ankle. Balance and spending lots of time on uneven terrain have been an ongoing issue for me all the years since my foot surgeries. Wet ground and garden beds are the most challenging areas for my feet to spend time. I bought these Repel boots to try and replace my rubber gardener boots that have been killing my feet. Mid way through life of my existing boots I had put a pair of SOLE inserts in them. This had provided some relief but because I had ordered thick ones to try and provide insulation from cold the boots ended up being too tight. These boots are water resistant and fabulously comfortable. I can spend a whole day in the garden and my feet still feel great! Much more stable so calf muscles, toes everything don't feel exhausted when I come in. Just wish I had got them sooner. Michelle

Liked previous version better

I have been a great fan of SOLE. I own a dozen pair of footbeds and have them in all my shoes, but favorites have been the Mateo Slides. I am on my 5th pair of them and recently purchased a new pair. I like the previous version better and the tops were more rigid and kept the foot in place much better. The new versions seems much more stretchy and more difficult to keep on my feet, especially when i am driving.

Super comfy, good support

My feet are impossible to find a comfortable, supportive fit for. But these sandals fit great! I have bunions and high arches. Often experience sore feet and sometimes arch cramping. When I first tried them on, they felt a little lumpy. But turns out, they are lumpy in all the right places. They provide me great support and keep my feet pain-free! My only complaint is that when my feet sweat or get wet, the sandals feel a bit slippery (where foot meets sandal, not where sandal meets the ground). Love them and highly recommend to others. Wish they came in more colors (light or dark brown, teal).

Happy feet

I bought the SOLE inserts as I needed a full support insole following foot surgery two years ago. My feet have gone through a lot. I have a high arch and most shoes do not. I bought two pairs and have them in my most used footwear. The support is ideal and the materials used feel great. The SOLE inserts are continuing to prove a great purchase for me and as winter arrives I will be on them every day.

Foot comfort

Been using SOLE insoles for a long time, only insoles that I have. All my athletic shoes, hunting boots and casual shoes have them. They have prevented many potential foot problems.

Perfect for morton's neuroma

I was leery buying the foot bed with the built-in metatarsal support. I have never had any luck with shoes with built-in supports, so I was afraid these wouldn't work. (I generally buy a regular foot bed and add the support.) I've been wearing these for weeks, and they are wonderful! They are very comfortable and I have had no pain.

helped relive bottom foot pain

After carrying twins my foot shape changed. Barefoot shoes fit great but I needed more support. My arched were screaming by the end of the day. These helped relieve my foot pain right away.

The definitive answer to foot pain

After spending over $600 on custom orthotics that were horribly uncomfortable and frankly, brutal for athletics. Hundreds at the physio to sort out a neuroma and tendinitis- THESE INSOLES have me my sport life back! My job requires serious fitness and on my feet for hours- I have little to no pain thanks to these insoles. I am gobsmacked at the quality. if you are on the fence- GO FOR IT

great product

I have been wearing orthotic inserts for 20 years. I have tried every other product out there, SOLE inserts the best by far. I have been wearing the Active Medium with Met Pad for 3 months and they perform VERY WELL. I have also worn the Work Medium insoles for 2 years, they are great! I have a collapsed arch in one foot. these insoles are made of very resilient materials. I highly recommend the product.

Ms

I am flat foot and my feet were hurting me so I decided to try SOLE to see how good they are. When I put them in my sneakers they were so comfortable and my feet didn't hurt. I love my SOLE footbeds and I am looking down the road to ordering more!

Saves my feet and ankles

The insoles work great. I have little cartilage in my ankles and my arches have fallen made walking sore. This the the 5 pair of these I have bought because they are so effective in mediating and managing my foot problems. I walk pain free after every meal 6 to 8 miles a day.

Great insole!

I have been suffering from pain and numbness in my middle toes and pad of my foot for a while now. I recently read that it may be Morton's Neuroma. I started looking around for a foot bed that would help and found the SOLE with met pad. I cannot believe what a huge relief they have brought me. I ended up ordering three pairs. for everyday walking shoes, golf shoes and hiking shoes. Since I go them, my right foot has gotten progressively worse so I have started the process of going to a specialists but it is confirmed as Morton's Neuroma. It is worse without shoes and, honestly, my only real relief is when my feet are up with no weight on them or in my shoe with the SOLE foot bed. I've now had them for about 4 months and they are holding up amazingly well. Besides helping with my toes they are comfortable in every other way. They make you really laugh at what comes with your shoes or what they sell in a pharmacy.

Extremely comfortable

I have a broken bone in my foot that is always painful. It is attached to the outside foot tendon, which keeps it from healing. I have to give you all two big working mans thumbs up, Between your foot inserts and your flips, I have a very active life. I recently even ran most of a 5K . Thank you so much and keep up your excellent service also😃.

Immediate relief

I find the SOLE insole with Met Pad provided relief for my foot issues. The insole sneakers with no trimming and seem to be of a high quality Shipping was reasonable and the company provided transactional feedback in a timely manner

The BEST flips in the WORLD!

I have bought SOLE flips ever since my accident that damaged my left foot. My Physiotherapist recommended them and I have worn them since 2009. Only recently both pairs finally wore out and I immediately ordered two more pairs. Unfortunately I couldn't see what size the old ones were as the number wore out so i guessed wrong and they were a 1/2 size too small. But they still kind of worked and in a week they felt fine. i still ordered the next size up and they were perfect. As a bonus , the smaller ones fit my granddaughter who also loves them! So 5 stars!

Happy Feet

These insoles have been exactly what I have needed. I have battled several years of foot cramps while skiing and hiking. I learned from a foot specialist my metatarsal pad needed more support. He told me about SOLE company. I purchased the cork and non cork versions of the met pad-medium-and loved the cork. I liked the non cork but have purchased -a total of 4 of these. They fit perfectly in my ski boots and skates as well as, my hiking boots and tennis shoes. I swap them between lots of my footwear and will not go out without them. LOVE THEM!! Buy these!! GREAT company-they TOTALLY stand behind their product. I have told so many of my friends about them. Be active, be comfortable, be in SOLE products! The sizing is right on!!

Answer to foot issues

I had Plantar Fasciitis about eight years ago which is very painful. My daughter recommended SOLE products as it had helped her. I bought my first pair and my foot problems stopped. I wear them faithfully around the house and outside and highly recommend them to anyone who has problems with their feet. I have tried several different types and do like the cork soles the best.

Great flips!

I love to wear the Beach flips at the end of the day, because the anatomical shape cradles my foot like a custom orthotic.

Can't do without these!

I suffered from foot pain for WAY TOO LONG. My orthopedic doctor recommended these many years ago and I absolutely can't do without them. If I go one day without, my feet, ankles and legs just ache. It's amazing that one little addition like this insert makes a HUGE difference in the best way possible.

Great product

These insoles feel like they would be great for someone with metatarsal pain. They're firm and very supportive. Sizing was accurate. This is a quality product. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis shortly after receiving these so I can't give a proper review on comfort. The firmness actually makes the pain worse but these insoles are not meant for rheumatoid arthritis pain. My mother has metatarsalgia and she swears by SOLE products. She has multiple pairs of sandals and insoles and she says they have helped with her foot pain immensely.

Great purchase

I have Plantar Fasciitis. My feet were hurting non stop for months. If I sat down for five minutes I could barely walk when I got back up. I bought these inserts and wore them a few hours a day for a few days and then every day. I have NO foot pain. I am absolutely, totally amazed!!! If they are a little uncomfortable at first do not give up. These are life changing!

I SWEAR by SOLE !

SOLE insoles are the best I've found for my particular feet: I've had a bunion since my twenties, 50 years. It was painful off and on but not now for several years. Since then I've developed a hammer toe and the start of overlapping toes. I recently declined a surgical option when it was revealed I would be off my feet for 10 months postop!! The foot surgeon referred me to a local store that carries supportive and orthopedic insoles. I DISCOVERED SOLE! and the rest is history. They make my feet comfortable in my shoes again. The ongoing changes in my feet have stopped. The bunion and hammer toe are easily managed with SOLE insoles. I'm ready to buy SOLE sandals next!

60+ hours a week on your feet? These are yours!

I work 60+ hours a week in an industrial environment, and these have been a life saver. No they have never “saved my life”, but they have saved my feet. This is my third pair in almost 20 years and I wear them to the breaking point. I highly recommend these if you are having foot pains in a work style boot.

Liked the soles so much I got the shoes

These SOLEs, and l like both the thin and thin + meta pad inserts, are awesome for running. They fit easily in my shoes, and I didn't even need to trim them. My feet feel better as well as my knees after a 5 mile run. I'm an older runner, so support in the feet is needed. I liked the SOLEs so much that I ordered two of the ReCORK shoes with the same foot beds. I used to be a superfeet fan, but now will only get SOLEs for my shoes.

Comfortable shoe!

I love that the materials are not animal products. They fit like a kid glove. The footbed is very firm and gives a sense of enclosing your foot, but be warned that it is not a cushiony feeling. The sole has grip on dry surfaces, but I have a feeling I won't be using it in the winter. All in all a terrific ankle boot.

Bye bye foot pain

I’ve never used a met pad insole and was a little worried I wouldn’t like it. I thought I’d feel it and it would be uncomfortable. Boy was I wrong. Not only did I not really notice it but after a long day on my feet instead of being sore and tired my feet felt great. I can’t believe what a difference it made. Buy with confidence that you’re getting a great product 🤙🏽

Days Without Foot Pain

Ordered 3 pairs of Softec Response to use in various casual shoes. Have use inserts by SOLE for years in work footwear (in response to planter fasciitis issues) & have been 100% satisfied. Have also used SOLE Hiking inserts in my hiking boots and have been very happy. Also, have worn their flip flops with wonderful success. However, am not completely sold on the results of my recent switch to the Softec Response for my work boots. Have experienced a little return of planter heel pain and am still trying to get it worked out. I will continue to remain a SOLE customer however because of all of my past successes. When you are 68 years old and have always worked on your feet, you realize that your days with out foot pain have far outweighed those with and applaud the reasons why.

No more pain

I am a barefoot girl, I like to exercise my feet, and I'm a stickler for posture including movement dynamics. In spite of all the care in my body alignment, and buying no heel shoes, I still experienced pain every time I wore shoes. Up until now! Since wearing SOLE orthotics (and SOLE sandals are now my house slippers) my feet feel amazing! I have tried all sorts of premade and custom made orthotics, foot taping, etc, and nothing helped until now. I might even try heels again, on occasion! SOLE gets my highest recommendation.

Opinion

Received the product in very quick time. The product is as advertised. The only problem was the fitting. First, it is very tight to get your foot in and once you manage that, the fitting is extremely tight, especially with your small toe being squeezed. Yes I did buy the right size and have not had any problems with other products that I have purchased. Unfortunately since it was bought on final sale I can not return it.

Walking in clouds

I use these for my military job and when I say it's helped my knee pain and foot issues, it's a complete 180 degree change. I was prescribed a pair during basic training and have finally bought new ones. They lasted almost 8yrs in boots for me and are extremely comfortable. You guys definitely saved my military career.

Love them!

I really like these - I like these more than my 400 dollar custom orthotics. My favourite thing about them is that they make my gait feel more natural. I've always had foot/ankle problems, including overpronation, peroneal tendonitis, os trigonum issues, etc. I always feel awkward when I walk. These help my bad foot do that natural heel-to-toe motion properly. Overall, they reduce my foot and ankle pain a lot - I can't believe how affordable they are. Only problem is that now I hate walking without them.

Great sole

Comfortable. Molded to my foot. No rubbing or red pressure spots. Made sneakers better than ever. Loved the materials. Durable.

Love Love LOOOVE

I work in a hospital and i spend up to 12 hrs a day walking on nasty cement floors , I have Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot, and these insoles have SAVED ME!! After only a couple of weeks of having them in my work shoes my pain level is DRASTICALLY REDUCED! If you suffer ANY foot pain you can't go wrong with SOLE, just give their products a chance. You WONT REGRET IT!

Great insole

I have very flat feet and have struggled with foot injuries because of it. This insole with the met pad feels a bit different at first but ultimately relives my foot pain I have had for years. These insoles offers such great support. I have been fitted for very expensive custom inserts from my foot doctor but I hate wearing them. My custom made inserts are hard as a rock no padding and squeak like crazy. I have worn my SOLE inserts for a few weeks now and I'm sold on these. I love them. I have since bought two more pairs and sandals from SOLE. I hope they are all just as great. I'm so glad I found this company. Life changing.

They're great!

My right foot has problems; a pronounced bunion and no arch at all. When I walk, it's like walking on my ankle, and is painful. At the end of the day, there's a huge swelling on the outside side of that foot. I have been through so many insoles I've lost count. None provide support where it's needed; they concentrate on being squishy, and what I need is firm support. I bought your insoles on a chance, fully expecting that they'd be the same as all the others. WOW! They weren't! They were firm at the arch and helped counteract the flatness. They're comfortable! The only thing missing is a wedge on the inside side of my heel, to tilt the whole foot outwards. Thanks people! I love them.

great product

I was given this information from a friend and decided to try SOLE as nothing else has worked for my constant foot pain. After putting the Active Thin Wide one in my loafers that I had not been able to wear for very long at a time, I can now wear when shopping, for longer stretches of time. My feet still hurt but at least I can walk with less pain. Thank you for your product.

Fabulous foot comfort

I really don't like squishy inserts. I have high arches and a narrow heal and these help cup my heal and support my arch. They are now in my running sneakers, shoes, and hiking boots. I won't wear shoes without them if I'm going to be on my feet for hours!

No More Foot Pain

I am very thankful to my co-worker that suggested SOLE insole. I was having terrible foot pain in my toe area. I tried wider toe boxes which helped a small amount but after wearing the Softec Response insoles for a week or so I no longer have any foot pain! I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

return customer

no complaints here, this is my second pair [1st pair is still going strong, I just got sick of switching insoles every time I switch my shoes, and these have a little more cushion which is appreciated]. I have very high arches that lead to a foot injury last summer and stopped me in my tracks. My podiatrist recommended insoles all the time, not only while running. I'm able to walk/hike/backpack/run/race comfortably now, and I appreciate that SOLE is sustainably minded.

Versatile Insole for a Great Price

I've been buying SOLE foot beds for years now and have used them in a variety of applications : hunting, cross country skiing, mountain biking, trial running and hiking. I love the heat moldable feature as well. I am grateful for the quality of SOLE!

Cute and comfy

I received my flips a month ago and practically haven't taken them off (I wear them like slippers around the house then outside in the yard) . They are casual, sexy looking, completely neutral and give a nude look to my feet! They stay on my feet quite well when I'm walking, but I would love another pair with a back strap so that I could do some serious walking with them. And most importantly - absolutely no foot pain!

Incredible

I've suffered from hip pain and tarsal tunnel syndrome for years. Then I read about supination, which is walking on the outside of your foot. I realized I did that and looked up ways to correct it. SOLE's website came up and I ordered what was recommended. After just TWO DAYS my hip pain had receded to the point where I barely noticed it. I also found that my tarsal tunnel syndrome symptoms (caused by nerve compression in the ankles) were drastically reduced. When I took off my shoes and socks to go to bed, I was amazed that I could actually feel the texture of the carpet under my feet for the first time in years. AFTER TWO DAYS! I immediately ordered a second pair. It's rare that I've been so satisfied with a product, especially one ordered online. THANK YOU SOLE!!!

Great for running

I have high arches and was having pain under the ball of my foot. These insole fixed that immediately. Highly recommended.

works great

I had purchased the red SOLE insoles on the advice of a foot Dr. (I needed met pads but not found on the red ones) I found them so thick that my shoes were tight. I had no clue that there were grey ones that were thinner so tried them and they work great! I would advise anyone that needs thinner and especially with met pads to try these out. They are comfortable and thin!

Feet are in love

I purchased a variety of SOLE products for all of my shoes. Boots, running shoes, work sneakers, casual sneakers. I did the oven/heated custom fitting as recommended, and the SOLEs have formed to my feet perfectly (I have a medium arch). I'm finally at a place where I love putting on any shoe and moving around without pain and discomfort. I can finally purchase stylish shoes without looking like I rolled out of the foot doctor! My running game is back on, and the impact absorbing material doubles my recovery time. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone.

Great Insoles

I have had foot and ankle pain for years. I was using expensive orthodics untill I found these insoles. When I first received them I compared them to my expensive insoles they were almost the same. The arch height was the same - the only difference I could see was the heel cup was not quite as deep. The thickness was a little softer. In my opinion these are better then the expensive ones. I have them in all my shoes and work boots.

Fallen Arch Saver!

Could not survive without these insoles. Showed them to my foot doctor years ago and he was even impressed. Keep up the good work!

Orthotics

I've been using SOLE orthotics for years and have not had a foot problem. Previously I suffered from plantar fascitis. The only question came from an orthopedist friend who questioned the benefit of stepping into the orthotic to mold it to your foot. She said that the right was to mold an orthotic was to create the correct foot stike, not just mold the misaligned one. But, so far, so good.

So far so good!

Originally I bought these to alleviate toe pain from an old turf toe injury. I liked that they are made from recycled cork and that they are molded to my foot. They fit great in my On Cloudboom runners without a need to trim them. I've had them for about a month and, granted I haven't done much for long distance, I haven't experienced any toe pain and really like the added support they provide. Only issue is I notice they make a low squeaking noise when I walk. Don't really notice it when I run though.

Game changer

I have had several foot surgeries and have lived with foot pain for years. My SOLE inserts have been a game changer for me. My pain is much better and I can do more active things again!

technical review

My name is Chrissy Brewer and I am a Certified Pedorthist and a Certified Orthotic Fitter and I love SOLE flips and slides. I have been a fitter for over 27 years and many people just want something easy to put on and lets their feet breathe, especially in the summer. The way SOLE supports the foot and the way it aligns the body is exceptional. I recommend them to anyone who wants sandals and I also recommend them to the diabetics I fit for shoes to help them stay compliant with wearing something on their feet, even when they get up at night to go to the bathroom. I wear them myself and have gotten them for all of my family. Make more, they run out of stock quickly and don't ever stop, I wouldn't know what to do without mine. :)

A MUST HAVE!

Love, Love, Love these insoles! Was recommended to them initially by a sports doctor for my son's bout with Sever's 2 years ago. They truly helped him get through that time, until he grew out of the illness. It didn't stop there for us, however. They are in every sneaker I own as well as my son's. I walk 5 miles or more a day, at least 3 times per week and my son is a very active teenager with baseball and other sports. They are well made and insure incredible comfort in our footwear but for us, also help with foot and leg fatigue due to our athletic lifestyles. I cannot recommend them enough. At this point, they are so crucial in our footwear, I stock up on them to insure they're here waiting in our home for any new sneaker purchases that come in, a MUST HAVE!

Offers Stability

I have paralysis in both of my lower legs and feet. The insole provides arch support and stability. Otherwise I would stand and walk on a hard, flat carbon fiber footplate. The insole provides support arch support and decreases nerve pain. Also prevents my foot from moving side to side within my shoe.

Walk again

Can finally walk again without foot pain. I now own six pairs of these in all the different styles. Will not walk out the door without them.

Worth every penny

I feel Softec Ultra insoles have saved me from a lot of foot problems as I have gotten older. We have high arches and am on our feet a lot. We are in our 60's. I first bought them in a military clothing store. Many military members were using them during overseas deployments. I used them during my deployment. I have tried some of the other types, but come back to the SOLE Softec Ultra. It's been over 15 years and I have some of the original soles in boots that don't receive lot of use. Now my wife is sold on them. She had a pair of hiking boots ready to be thrown out. I replaced the factory insole with a Softec Ultra thick and she said they felt like a new pair of boots! We don't heat them, but let them form to our feet over time. They are expensive, but save money over the long run.

just the right product :)

I needed some new insoles. My friend told me how her new pair of SOLE Active inserts way fixed her foot pain and showed me her pair. They looked exactly like what an active shoe insert should look like so I bought a pair. Wow! What a difference! New life to my old shoes. Better life to my hiking boots and way happy feet to my work boots, all from one new pair of SOLE Active inserts. I've had 'em for about 2 months. They're durability seems to be great (looking forward). The fit is good for 4 out of 5 pairs of my footwear. And yes, they are comfortable! My fifth pair is just a bit small for the insert so I have to stay with my old pair of inserts. Exceeded my expectations for comfort. In my opinion, BUY 'EM!! They work!

Active Thick

Product is very good. Really helped with my foot pronation. I have been wearing them every day for about 6 months. They are made of a pretty robust material so I think they will last for a long time

A new beginning

I have suffered with a left foot Morton's Neuroma for years. I could never hike more than 4 miles (with or without backpack)....UNTIL NOW!! These inserts are no joke and there is absolutely no hype in the claims. Proof? I just returned from a backpacking trip to Sedona, AZ & the Grand Canyon with newly installed Active Thick with Met pad. It was trial under fire. Result? Zero foot pain....and I mean ZERO. Canyon hike alone was 16 miles with steep descent and ascent. That hike was followed up with long hikes in Sedona...again with zero foot pain SOLE is truly a game changer and I highly recommend them!! - Charles Dyke, Winthrop, ME

Works very well for my metatarsal pain

After an increase in snow shoeing and cross country skiing frequency, I began to feel acute pain in my metatarsal head when walking, especially barefoot on hard surface, but then it progressed to walking at all times unless I taped my foot to lift the metatarsal heads. It's tough to tape your skin daily so it was time to finally get orthotics. I bought a thin pair with met pad for my every day shoes and the thick ones with met pad for running. With the insoles I was able to KEEP running in spite of the injury (although I taped at the same time at first) but soon stopped the tape and the orthotics alone were enough to give me relief. After about 6-8 weeks it had healed enough that I could walk barefoot indoors occasionally without pain. I still prefer to wear the insoles on a daily basis as my transverse arch has chronically dropped and it is more comfortable to walk/run with them supported by the insoles. I am also a physiotherapist and I recommend these SOLE moldable arches as a first resort before spending hundreds of dollars on custom orthotics. Great service also!

The Best Foot Support

I have severe flat feet and this support is the ONLY one that actually works for me. I have been wearing this support for over 10 years now. I hope they never discontinue this GREAT support!

A little hard

I have two pairs of the Catalina Sport flip and just love them. However, the cork sole for me on this pair are a little hard. I am older and need more padding for wearing all day at work. Nice and narrow footbed and stay on my foot well. Look great!

Worth it

These insoles for plantar fasciitis work great. I've had PF for over 5 years and have tried everything. Rested, stretched, iced, and even bought $300 professional insoles from the podiatrist office after they scanned my foot for perfect shape. These insoles worked just as good as the $300 pair for much less money. Buy them. Follow the instructions and heat them in oven before stepping in them for a perfect fit.

Nice product

I'm on my feet a lot between work and activities. I've had knee and foot issues over the years so I've tried a few options including custom orthotics. I don't know that these will make all my issues go away but they have helped and they are more comfortable than my custom orthotics that cost 10x the price.

Love these SOLEs!

I've used my SOLEs for years and just reordered for my new sneakers. I love them, super comfortable, great support, easily fits inside any tennis shoe.. most importantly, I have plantar fasciitis and they save me from foot pain daily!!

No more foot pain

I have for many years used support insoles. I was using the Barefoot Science product and really liked it. The reason for the change was price. I decided to look around for an alternative support. I was looking for a Canadian product and the bonus was SOLE used recyclable material. I decided to try a couple or pairs and I am very satisfied. I walk to and from work with a backpack for about 2 Km each way. I've been doing this for about ten years. I started to suffer from foot pain (plantar F) because I was carrying more in the backpack. I'm happy to say that since using SOLE my the foot pain is almost totally resolved. The Performance Mediums I purchased for my golf shoes. I also purchased Thins for my dress shoes and about six pairs of Thick for walking shoes and snow boots. I also bought slip on shoes that I use for slippers, they are great. I recommend the product to all the sore feet. Thank you SOLE!

10 thousand kms and counting

Stumbled onto the Signature DK responses 8 years ago at the early stages of my appalachian trail thru hike. I had undergone an achilles tendon surgery and was quite nervous about my foot. Tried these on in North Carolina, fell in love with them, and walked the rest of the 4 million plus footsteps to the finish line, 2000 +miles later. I've now hiked well over 10 thousand + kms world wide since and every one of those footsteps have been with the support of SOLE foodbeds. I have size 9 wide feet that pronates on one feet and supinates on other due to my injury. To make it more interesting, one foot is slightly smaller and flatter in arch than the other. These footbeds are so perfect as they custom mold to my feet which changes in width throughout the course of a lengthy thru hike. The Performance Wide and Active Mediums work really well for me. I can't wait to test them out tree planting this summer in a totally different environment and footwear conditions.

Saved my snowboard boots

Had foot pain when wearing my snowboard boots. Replaced the old liners with these and the pain is gone! Super comfortable, I can't recommend them enough!

Focus on strength and support

If you are one of those people that, like myself, you can hear them before you see them because they walk so heavy on their feet then these are the perfect modality! They help with the heavy foot impact that can have just as heavy impact on the rest of the body. Just the right amount of strong cushioning and support for those of us that love to take long walks and enjoy the scenery without discomfort!

Great for chef shoes

Bought them for my son who as a chef works 11 hours on his feet. Previously his socks would shred under the balls of his feet from all the pressure and cause a lot of foot pain in that area. After using the active medium pads he can't believe how much better his feet feel! He wants pairs for his non work shoes because his feet ache without them.

Bunion Suffering, Foot Care Nurse Recommended

I have had bunions since the age of 13 and am now 36 likely related to flat foot arches. I first purchased one of these insoles to place inside my K-Swiss shoes (which I purchase in men's sizes despite being a women due to the larger toe box) a few years ago. I absolutely love these insoles. LOVE. LOVE THEM! I have had virtually no bunion-related pain since using these in my work shoes when previously I was on the surgical wait list for bunion removal surgery. For more context, I am a nurse who works acute care; 12 hour shifts most of which is spent speed walking through the unit. I can't say enough good things about these insoles. My feet are no longer in excruciating pain by the end of my shifts -- and this has remained true through the 2-3 years that I have used them. I am still happily using my first purchased SOLE insole in my work shoes and ended up buying another pair for a video review and to use in a new pair of work shoes that I am currently breaking in. I tell EVERYONE about these insoles because I love them so much.

Very happy!

I broke my foot 6 months ago (Lisfranc mid foot multiple bone and ligament injury) and the recovery has been brutal. I tried many therapies, but the constant aches and pains have not yet gone away. The SOLEs made such a big difference for me, I no longer wake up with stiffness in my mid arch and toes, it helped tremendously! Very very happy I found these, thank you!

Substitute for average custom orthotics

I've been wearing 3/4 custom orthotics for 15 years. Many of us who have them, got them for arch lift/support to address plantar fasciitis or mild to moderate pronation, or general foot soreness and fatigue with activity. There's nothing that special about these $500 custom inserts (unless you have a very specific, hard-to-correct problem) that a thoughtfully designed, non-custom insert cannot help with. SOLES are it. I have Active Med, Thick, and Thin for different shoe types with Met Pad. They work for all my activities - hiking, walking, jogging, or just standing in the kitchen. The quality is excellent, no fraying around the edges, resist odors. Once in my shoes, I forget about them. Met Pad: it's minimal. I can't tell the difference between a SOLE insert I have without it and the ones with it. For a reference point, the German shoe maker Finn Comfort makes cork orthotic inserts for their shoes (standard) with a metatarsal hump that is more substantial and you can feel the difference.

My sole inserts

I have been wearing SOLE inserts for a few months now. I stand all day at my job and the inserts seem to conform to my foot and take a lot of the pressure off. They are very durable and hold up in my shoe. I play tennis and they don't slide around and help with protecting my heel.

Encouraged

A couple of years ago my brother started telling me about how much he enjoyed both the SOLE insoles and some of their footwear that he had started wearing. Since that time he has made repeated purchases and continued to rave about how much better his legs felt when using/wearing their products. I have suffered with serious back issues for half of my life and finally decided to give your insoles a try placing them in a good sturdy pair of Salomon hiking shoes. While my back issues continue I have to say I find I'm able to walk further and with less discomfort than was previously the case. I did purchase 3 pairs of insoles and will be using them in my other footwear. I like that I am able to heat the insole making it more pliable and better able to conform to my particular foot dynamics.

Joe Byrnes

I am a cyclist and I have been having knee and metatarsal joint pain for over a year. When walking my left foot tends to land on outside edge first and then collapses towards inside. This puts a lot of stress on my left knee and met joint especially when I am on the bike. I read about cycling shoe insoles and SOLE was highly recommended. I decided to try and ordered a pair of Active Thins with Met Pad. What a difference they made in a week. I wear them in my cycling shoes and metatarsal pain has decreased a great deal. My knee also tracks straight as opposed to making an elliptic travel during up and down strokes. Met Pad in my case helped a lot. Despite my left leg being the stronger one I was only able to push 32% on the bike. It's almost at 50% right now. I guess my foot was all over the place. I ordered a medium ones for my walking shoes and they work great also. It has been only 10 days but the difference is big. Custom molding them is very easy, great soles at very affordable price. I highly recommend this product.

Foot pain no more

I have purchased 2 SOLE cork foot beds now and I will never buy another brand. Last year when I was experiencing foot pain in my functional fitness shoes I decided to give them a try. I was sold nearly immediately. They confirmed to my foot and soon after all of my pains and aches had disappeared. There was no question in my mind when the insoles of my beloved boots folded up that I replace them with the Thin footbed. Nothing short of amazing. I could stand all day without issue. I only wish I could have these in every pair of shoes I own. On the fence? Don't be. You'll be glad you tried these.

Can't live without them

I have really high arches and having to wear steel toe work boots for 10 hours a day is excruciating. I've been using SOLE insoles for years now and I can't imagine wearing my boots without them. I recently tried the Met Pad version and it helps with the pain I would occasionally get in the outside area of my foot right below the toes. These insoles are thick so make sure there is plenty of room in the toe box if you plan on using them.

Great for sneakers; too thick for Crocs

I am recovering from hip replacement surgery and have learned that I need arch support to correct my leg alignment from "duck-footed" to straight ahead. This Active Thick SOLE with Met Pad is perfect support for my daily walks when placed inside my sneakers. I first tried them inside my Crocs, my "inside shoes," and this was painful, as the Crocs have surprisingly little give. So now I know I need a Medium thickness with Met Pad for Crocs, Thick with Met Pad for sneakers. I don't know how I managed without this support for so long! Thank you, SOLE.

Met Pad is awesome

Tried a SOLE with Met pad this time - it has really helped with my foot neuropathy. It has gone from frequent to occasional since I started using it.

Best walking SOLEs

I had been wearing my Thick SOLEs for about a month now, unbelievable. I have 2 dogs so I am walking twice a day 7 km total, no foot pain, it all resolved. Prior to Thick SOLEs I had good runners on but always had heel etc .pain, these SOLEs are life savers, I also have slim ones for my flat shoes and medium for my high boots, I love them all and they all work for a different shoes.... very well made. With the thick SOLEs I will order half size bigger my runners... the comfort is so amazing for my walks... love my SOLEs!

Happy feet

I work 8 hours a day on my feet on concrete floors and at the end of the day my feet and legs are tired! The SOLE Work insoles fit easily into my shoes and molded to me foot shape perfectly (I used the warm oven method they recommend). They definitely support my arches and help my feet and legs to feel a little springier at the end of the day! Great value for insoles that work just as well as my orthotics.

Relief from pain

I was already feeling metatarsal soreness which would be relieved with a taping technique I used. I was considering orthotics since taping my feet regularly was starting to irritate my skin. Then with winter boots and a cross country ski day, I further irritated my left foot and was feeling sharp pain at my first metatarsal head. I ordered the Active Thin with Met Pad and instantly could walk without the pain. This is helping me walk more normally again. Customer service was AMAZING when I had an issue with the medium thickness pair I ordered. Definitely recommend this product! The shaping of the orthotic in the oven was actually very easy to do also. Happy customer here!

Foot pain no more

I have purchased 2 SOLE cork foot beds now and I will never buy another brand. Last year when I was experiencing foot pain in my functional fitness shoes I decided to give them a try. I was sold nearly immediately. They conformed to my foot and soon after, all of my pains and aches had disappeared. There was no question in my mind when the insoles of my beloved boots folded up that I replace them with the Thin footbed. Nothing short of amazing. I could stand all day without issue. I only wish I could have these in every pair of shoes I own. On the fence? Don't be. You'll be glad you tried these.

Exactly what we needed! So happy we found these :)

Bought these for my mom as she's been using SOLE inserts since she injured her foot/leg. The local shoe store she usually gets them from recommend her the medium active & price gauged them. Active Medium have been working for her, but coming straight to the website we found so many different options & she herself picked these Thick ones out. Got them quick & she loves them. We will continue to order these from here for now on. Even though she has surgery in March to correct her foot issues, we're ordering a second pair for my house. She NEVER takes her shoes off (her arch is really bad) due to the pain, so we're putting them in some recovery sandals and then she'll have a pair for inside and outside. Very satisfied with the quality, fit, and quick delivery.

Very functional

These boots are super waterproof. I have foot neuropathy and the souls provide great comfort. Lightweight and very easy to slip on, make these my go to wet weather boot. Liked them so much, I bought a second pair.

Greet insole for cycling

I use these for cycling and they've turned a once so-so pair of shoes into very comfortable shoes that i can use on 3+ hour rides. I used to get pain on the outside side of my foot after a few hours but this insole has helped get rid of it. Plus my higher archer know feel nice and supported.

Best insoles ever

These insoles are excellent. I had to give up my daily 8 Km walks for 8 days and ride the stationary bike because of extreme pain from metatarsalgia in my right foot. This condition had been undiagnosed but getting worse over the last few years and I googled the symptoms, which brought me to your website. I followed the oven instructions and fitted the insoles in place of the factory insoles and began using them that day. The met pad made a 100 percent difference and I am now pain free when I walk or hike. I have a pair in my hiking boots and my trail shoes. My only regret was that I had not found your company 5 years ago when the metatarsalgia started.

Great footwear

I was on the hunt for a shoe that has no latex in them. I have foot psoriasis. These shoes are the most comfortable with cork soles. I can wear them all day with no flair up. You've got to try them! I was skeptical at first but no doubt SOLE shoes are worth every penny!

Good boot to provide support when outdoors

Bought the boot since I needed stability support for my flat feet and one I could use outdoors in the winter. I have the SOLE shoe and because of the support quality, using the boot will allow me to use it during winters in Wisconsin. SOLE shoes have shown to last long as far as continuous foot support and keeping its wear and tear quality.

Cycling Shoes and Ski Boots

I have these in my road cycling shoes and they've eliminated any discomfort and keep my feet feeling good on century+ length rides. My 11 year old son complained of foot pain in his ski boots so we inserted a pair and he's commented on the comfort ever since. The Met Pad is particularly important for me and not something I've been able to find in any other option. Great products I will continue to buy well into the future.

Best non custom footbed!

I am a retired Physical Therapist and this is the best foot bed I've ever purchased!

Great product

Amazing product I don't get back pain like I had before and no cramp foot and legs i highly recommend this product I got 3 insole and 2 sandals and can not be happier . Thank you SOLE!

Thank Heavens for these insoles!

Oh I'm so happy to have found these insoles! I've struggled with plantar fasciitis pain for the last year or so. I've tried wearing a walking boot 24/7, wearing a variety of different night splints, and have tried a couple of different insoles, and these have made the most difference! I love that the SOLE Active Thin w/Met Pad fit into more of my shoes than the other insoles (the size 8 pad fits perfectly in all my size 8 and 8.5 shoes), and after wearing them for a little more than a week, my foot pain is GREATLY REDUCED! While I can't speak to the longevity/long term use of these insoles, I'm optimistic and I've planned on order a couple more sets so I don't have to take them in and out of different pairs of shoes.

Love it!

I have plantar fasciitis and it was bad enough that even my running shoes didn't feel good after a few hours. I got these insoles about a month ago and my foot pain is gone! Unbelievable, been fighting this for two years and wish I'd pulled the trigger and bought them sooner. Totally worth every penny.

Morton’s Neuroma Reflief

I've been trying different insoles from different companies for over a year trying to find one that worked. This one does! It fits in my runners perfectly without filing them up with too much padding on the bottom. The metatarsal pad and arch support really improve the discomfort of the neuroma. I've been exercising in them for 2-3 weeks and I've noticed a huge improvement in my foot pain lessening. Easy to break in.

Happier feet healthier pets

We offer a pair of SOLE to dog owners who commit to a weight control program for their pet. We are excited to help improve foot comfort so that the owners are not inhibited from exercising their dog. Our dog owners and their dogs are getting healthier one step at a time. Thank you SOLE!

Joint pain went from a 7 to a 1

I've had lower extremity joint pain for years (I'm only 19), including patellofemoral syndrome and foot supination. Putting these in my work shoes has changed the game for me, truly: I noticed an immediate difference and my pain has subsided in the two months that I've been wearing the inserts. I chose to let the inserts mold to my feet over a few days and they worked perfectly. They give the shoe more of a firm footbed, which I like. 100% would recommend and would buy again.

narrow but crazy comfortable

i was surprised at how narrow these were in the toe box. even for my Nikes that run on the narrow side my big toe slips off the edge. that being said i will not be taking them out of my Nikes any time soon. they are so comfortable! I feel like my foot is being hugged. I originally bought them for my Altra hiking boots but I'm glad they found a home in my other shoes. I will be ordering them in wide for the boots soon.

The BEST

Absolutely love them. I have had problems with my feet for a few years now, and found it a pain to switch my orthodics which are very expensive from show to shoe. I have SOLE insoles in all my footwear now and have no issues with foot pain any longer.

Perfect Comfort

I had surgery for a torn posterior tibial tendon which caused my arch to drop. I needed something that would form to my foot while having solid arch support. I've been wearing SOLE inserts for my shoes for about 2 years now. I absolutely love them! They are so comfortable. I like that I don't even need to trim them down to fit my shoes. I have recommended SOLE to family and friends.

Comfortable

I have an arch problem and subsequent foot pain. This cork based support provides good cushioning and has reduced any pain I formerly had. I would buy again

Very comfortable

I have arch problems and foot pain. This Active Thick product is nicely cushioned and provides excellent support. I have had no pain since wearing them. I would definitely buy them again.

Quality footbed

I use SOLE foot beds for a variety of applications and now own several pairs. I appreciate their support and heat molding capabilities.

Why pay 500.00 dollars when you can wear SOLES

I have had plantar fasciitis and achilles problems. After trying many things the doctor decided that I needed to see a foot doctor. I then purchased insoles at 500.00 dollars which in a bit of time worked. The sad part is before my 500.00 expense I had purchased your product but did give your SOLEs enough time to work. The foot doctor asked me what I had tried and I told him SOLEs and he asked how long had I used them for. I then knew I could have saved me money and pain I have recommended them to my sister and friends. I recently bought a pair for my son as a Christmas gift, (he wears the 500.00 ones! and I told him SOLEs where as good) I have purchased them from a couple of stores in Winnipeg (Canadian footwear and Legacy) before buying direct from you. I like the thin SOLEs because they fit nicely in my shoes with great support as I wear them in all my shoes every day. Great product

Amazing Insoles

I suffered from plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I would limp in pain when I got out of bed in the morning. I would hobble when I walked. I had tried other insoles but they only gave me temporary relief. Then I tried these insoles. They saved my feet! Within 2 weeks the pain was gone. I could walk and move without pain. The insoles fit like a glove. I can now walk 18 holes of golf and suffer no pain that day or the next. I have them in all my shoes and now I can say goodbye to foot pain. For over a year now. They work!

Saved my feet

I have had orthotics made for me, I found them so uncomfortable and my foot slid around on them. These SOLEs saved my from so much pain. My feet and knees have never felt better. Not only that but they fit in most shoes so easily because they aren't big and bulky. I don't leave home without them now and will use them forever. Highly recommend!!

Incredible

I purchased these for cross country and downhill skiing, as I have flat feet and suffer arch pain. Since the first time I wore these I have not suffered from arch pain or cramping. Bonus is that my feet are less tired; I no longer have pain radiating from my heels and under the ball of my foot after skiing. Absolutely transformative experience

Excellent Product

As a long term sufferer of flat feet and plantar fasciitis, foot pain used to be my norm. I then discovered custom orthotics but with limited application and use. When I discovered SOLE my life changed! I could go back to doing all of the things I loved. And wear multiple types of shoes and sports equipment! SOLE products are amazing and my go-to now! Thanks

Saved my feet!

I have been a SOLE wearer for about 15 years. During my first pregnancy, I had the worst Plantar Fasciitis and could barely walk. A local store recommended that I put a pair of sole insoles inside every pair of shoes...and it worked. Completely cured my foot pain. Thanks SOLE!

Happy Feet

I love the SOLE products. I have high arches and find these inserts to be support my feet perfectly! As my foot changes or I change athletic shoe, I can also adapt the sole to my needs. I highly recommend this product for all active activities. My feet are so happy!

Cork is the way

I've tried many of the SOLE products now and I found the cork footbeds to be the best. I'm not sure why exactly, but I have much less foot pain with this bed. I feel a little spring back with them, a little shock absorbing. Cork is unique and none of the other pads feel this way. Sadly I see REI is closing them out, I hope that doesn't mean this product is EOL.

My second pair

I purchased it at the recommendation of my dr for my foot issue! These are the first real soles with a good enough arch to support my arches! My foot is getting better, especially when I'm wearing my SOLE footbeds! This is the second pair I bought and since it work so well for me I bought them for my son and husband, my son is a wear house worker so they were good for his work boots!

First time and feels great

With a recent foot injury, I was recommended SOLE products. In discussions it was found these would be best fit and value. I find them comfortable and am happy to support a Canadian company with high values in ethical products

4th Pair - Love Them!

I love these flip flops, and have bought multiple pairs over the years. I wear them every day (I'm in a warm climate) and they hold up pretty well. They REALLY help with my feet (bunions) and ankle problems. Since I've purchased SOLE products my foot pain is a thing of the past. I was super skeptical when my doc said I should wear supportive footwear only. I really didn't believe it. But now I do. SOLE is the ticket!

Stacey

Comfortable and functional

I have terrible foot pain if the ball of my foot is constricted at all and these slides are super comfortable and cause me no pain. Yet they stay on well even though they are not constrictive. I am very happy with them.

Even better than the rest of my SOLE sandals

Due to back and foot issues, I have been wearing SOLE flip flops exclusively for over 10 years, which explains why I own more than 10 pairs! These are sleeker and lighter than the ones I normally wear and I love them so much that I am wearing them inside instead of slippers. I have one leg slightly longer than the other, so my shoemaker fits the right one with a lift - not something you can do with cheap sandals. They are sporty yet delicate enough to wear with a dress. I have already ordered another pair! I am so glad my best friend, who was dealing with a foot injury, turned me onto these. My sister, who also has foot issues, is now a fan thanks to me. I bought her a pair for Christmas this year, because she wears the ones I bought her exclusively as well. All this style, and the reduction of pain makes life super sweet.

My favorite shoe

I was at a bicycle race in Big Bear CA several years ago. I needed a pair of flip flops and saw a retailer selling SOLE flip flops. I thought they were fairly expensive compared to what I have paid in the past. I tried them on and decided to make the purchase. They were so comfortable I decided to challenge myself. How long can I wear them day after day. I wore them to work, weekends for three months. Unbelievably comfortable. I bought a second pair. My first pair is tan and do have a different foot pad then the second pair. My favourite is the tan pair I am finding them harder to find. None the less, I am sold on SOLE flips flops.

Custom orthotic hiller

After a diagnosis of low arches by a podiatrist I was putting $350.00 orthotics into my shoes. This meant romoving the original insole and buying larger shoes to get my foot and orthotic into the shoe. I compared the arch height and support of the orthotic to the SOLE product. They were the same! So my first purchase were in my work boots for one year. The same support as the ororthotics but with a more comfortable fit. These things are great. Easy to trim to match the "footprint" of the original insole. Super comfortable. Super supportive. Great price.

They beat custom inserts

I have been wearing SOLE inserts for 3 years now. I am very flat footed and have tried many different kinds of custom inserts, never getting the relief I have found using SOLE. I am on my feet many hours of the day, on a cement floor and uneven grounds. My feet are much happier using SOLE than my custom inserts. This time I tried the Met Pad and it is even better! I bought 2 more right away. If you haven't tried SOLE inserts yet, you should definitely give them a try. You won't regret it.

Beyond expectations!

I bought these for my boyfriend who has struggled with foot pain due to having flat feet. It's been two months since he started wearing them and they have done wonders for his pain. They fit great and seem to be holding up very well. I was hoping they would help even just a little bit but they've helped a lot and I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Awesome - Comfortable and Stylish

I used to hate wearing Flip sandals. My feet would ache due to a lack of support. This sandal is amazing because it is minimalistic and supports the arch of my foot very well. Thank you SOLE for another awesome product! I wear your products everyday in all of my footwear! My feet and hips and lower back thank you!!

Insole review

I had went to my foot doctor for a yearly checkup and had talked about the fatigue and pain of being on my feet all day and climbing ladders at work. My doctor recommended I check out the SOLE site and recommended the insole I should look at. I went on the site and ordered a couple of pair of insoles. Since wearing them for a couple of months my feet and legs are feeling much better. I could not believe the difference! I am very happy with the product and the difference it has made in my life.

Great solution to a painful foot problem

I've been using SOLE insoles for years and they have been great. I now walk over 30 miles per week and over the past 18 months, I've started to have foot pain. I do have Morton's toe and suffered with a neuroma. I tried several different approaches to support and cushion my metatarsal area but all were problematic - slipping pads, pads that didn't conform to my foot, etc. I discovered the SOLE with built in met support about two months ago. They have been a lifesaver. I have them for my walking shoes and also for my everyday shoes and they have completely erased the foot pain. I also bought a pair for my husband's walking shoes and they have worked for him as well. I highly recommend these SOLE footbeds to alleviate ball of the foot and toe pain.

LOVE

Within a few days of wearing these foot beds, my heel pain in my right foot was gone. It's so nice to walk without pain! They are comfortable and fit my shoes just right. SOLE has a repeat customer in me.

LOVE!!!

I absolutely LOVE these flip flops. I live in SW Florida and thus live in flip flops. There is nothing like the arch support that is in these flip flops. My plantar fasciitis does not flare when I'm wearing these...even for hours! I have a narrow foot and have problems finding flip flops that fit my feet well and I have no problem with the Balboa Flip. So comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great flips

I had a lot of foot pain from a severe case of planters fasciitis and my Podiatrist recommended wearing these SOLE flips as slippers on the hardwood and tile floors of our house. After wearing them for a few months around the house my fasciitis is 95% better. The Monetery flips fit well and are very comfortable to wear. They are very well made and look good as well.

No more pain!

So happy with these! Helped my toes and top of my foot feel so much better. Love that Met pad and the lining is cozy and comfy. I like the way they feel and look!

SOLE Sandals and Footbeds

I have been wearing SOLE sandals and using the footbeds for a number of years now and love them. I have foot issues and this is an affordable way to ensure that I have the proper support at all times. Just purchased the Mendocino Sport Slide and love them. A perfect "house" shoe. I highly recommend SOLE products, especially if you have issues with your feet or are on your feet for most of the day.

Instantly comfortable

The ball of my foot always gives me a great deal of pain. I immediately felt these helped the issue, and now that I've worn them for hundreds of hours on the job, I am going to buy them for life. My big toe was sore for a bit, as it's adjusting to proper alignment. This is easily fixed by doing toe crunches, such as picking up foam and placing it in a bowl with your toe.

Awesome insoles!

Such a great insole! I used to have superfeet insoles and they weren't the best. However, the Lifestyle Medium insoles help with my knee pain (due to pronated ankles/feet). They're also very soft and give my whole foot support, especially the arch. It fits perfectly in all my shoes, and has started to really form around my foot. I'll definitely buy them again.

My go to shoe

My foot doctor recommended the SOLE footwear for times when I need arch support around the house, I have had 4 pair now and love the feel

I would recommend

These are great. They helped with foot pain. Super comfortable right away. I also use them as house slippers.

Great footwear

I have been wearing the Monterey flips for about a year and just purchased a second pair. I had a bad case of Plantar fasciitis and started wearing these as slippers around the house and now I have very little discomfort in my foot. They are very comfortable to wear and fit really well. They are constructed with quality materials. They are the only flips I will wear now.

Inserts

This is the 3rd Pair I have bought for Ed Hicks to put I his rubber boots. Rubber boots with steel toes are hard enough to walk in but with the SOLE inserts gives the boots structure. This product is comfortable and fits the foot well.

Comfort

Love it! Fits my foot really well. Is tighter fitting than the Costa. Costa is better if you have "tall" feet. Leather is good, after the first seeking wearing it stretches a bit and becomes more comfortable and fitted. I have tailor bunion pain and helped

Super comphy

Love those casual thin inserts, they were a bit longer in some shoes , so It is very easy to adjust the thin ends at the top of them, they fit so great snd feels marvellous when u standing all day in flats.. the cork feels soo great on bare foot also ... truly great thins, thank you SOLE!

SOLE for my Soul

I purchased the Active Wide Thick inserts for my everyday, go-to running shoes because this was a cheaper option than replacing my shoes altogether, especially the shoes themselves were still good - they just needed new beds! The Active Wide Thick inserts fit perfectly into my New Balance 860s (v10) and made my feet feel like I was stepping into a brand new pair of shoes. I'm so glad I did this! The only thing that I wish I'd done differently: placed the beds into the oven to mold them to my feet a little quicker (as prescribed in the instructions). How cool! Otherwise, my right foot for whatever reason, it took a few days to break them in as it would for any new pair of shoes. I've had my footbeds for a month now and they are so comfortable. I will continue to buy from SOLE as I have for years now. LOVE their Cork sandals too!

Better for slender feet

I bought these shoes because I love the feel of the SOLE footbed. I ordered my usual size 8 but found the shoes to be a little short and narrow in the front so that I couldn't spread and relax the ball of my foot as well as my toes. I thought of ordering up to an 8-1/2 but decided to try the men's version in a size 7 instead. They fit perfectly as the toe box is wider and much more comfortable. Plus , I prefer having the laces to customize the fit of the shoe. The 8-1/2 women's might have worked also but, with shipping, is difficult to try on.

I love this flip!

The Laguna Flip is thinner and lighter and the support is not quite as substantial as the Sport Flip. With that said, I love this flip! The footbed is cork with a non-slip surface that allows the shoe to stay on my foot, and it looks a little "dressier" than the others. The fit is right on. I will purchase this again.

Love them

I was having a lot of knee hip and lower back pain, so I decided to look for "healthy" shoes. They are great! I was worried at first because the sole is quite hard, and there is a weird bump in the middle, but it is very comfortable and did help with my pain. I added a heel wedge for pronation and my pain is gone when I wear these shoes. I cut off the heel part because it made the shoes difficult to put on and take off, and folded down it was quite uncomfortable. I use these as house shoes because of my knee hip back pain so taking off and on easily is important. They stay on well even without the heel part, however I need to wear thick socks otherwise the shoes rub and it hurts. I measured my foot according to size guide and it fits fine, I think even for feet the are a bit wide they should be good

Best ever

I've worn the cork flips for years, after I had a round of plantar fasciitis. The arch support is sturdy and comfortable, year after year. The cork flips worked to solve that foot issue. They look great and last several seasons. My satisfaction is so high, that I buy several pairs each season so I can rotate them based on beach use or casual dress use. I hope they make an indoor slipper" to keep my feet warm in the winter.

Great flip

I love the Costa Flip! Finally I can wear my favorite type of summer shoes and have excellent support for my plantar fasciitis. The fit is great and the solid black color goes with everything. Would definitely recommend this flip to anyone with foot problems. Very comfortable.

Best Orthotics

I have Rheumatoid arthritis and plantar fasciitis. These footbed have kept me in my feet! My first pair were purchased in 1995. I have purchased many since in all thicknesses. After having custom orthotics made twice and neither being satisfactory, a cobbler recommended these. What a relief. I own many pair in two sizes and thicknesses for use in different styles of shoes And highly recommend for anyone with foot or joint issues!

Foot pain

I been using SOLE inserts for two years now. I'm always on my feet at work either walking or standing around. They are comfortable and have last a long time.

Pain relief

I have arthritis in my left foot on the outside center of my foot. My doctor referred me to get these and I was skeptical about it. But since he suggested it, I got some and almost immediately felt relief from the pain. I am able to walk again without limping and without pain.

Happy Joints and Happy Feet

I am flat-footed (and pronate), and while I love thongs, they simply don't do the bottom of my feet and rest of my body any good. I usually end up with lower joint problems from my hips down to my ankles when I would wear traditional sandals. The arch support in the Costa Flip allows me to comfortably wear them (and actually walk long distances) without any pain during or after. It is such a nice change. I wear them often on walks that are often a good hour or so -- not just to wander around in! The bed has a nice amount of cushion, and I never experienced any blisters! Not even after my first wear.

WOW!!

The first wearing of the flip was fine it did, however, take a few days to be able to wear them again given my delicate feet had to toughen up - meaning the scabs had to heal up. I equate this not to the flip but due to the fact it has been a long time since I had actually worn flip flops. The feel of the shoe is not like any other flip I have tried, given the base it is heavier but it is way more comfortable than others I have worn. I have a very high arch so I have to be picky with what I buy and the way these form to your foot is what lead me to want them in the first place. Having lived in them for several weeks now they have completely formed to my foot and make it a pleasant experience to wear flips flops again!!

Made my Summer Great!

These slides have made all the difference for me to have a fun and active summer. I have a tendinitis along the side of my foot and just like people having plantar fasciitis these slides have made it easy to go for walks on sidewalks, and on the beach. I bought a second pair to use as house shoes. My feet don't get sore when standing for a long time cooking, cleaning, etc. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Comfort and stability

I purchased my first pair of SOLE footwear this summer on the recommendation of a friend. I am delighted with the support my Costa Flip foot bed provides and the strength and comfort of the straps. My feet fit snuggly into the flip and walking is easy no matter what the terrain; grassy slope to the lake, rocky shoreline tippy canoe, or wet pavement in the parking lot. The flips stay one comfortably and my foot doesn't slip and slide all over the place. I love that they are environmentally responsible and designed by a Canadian company!

Slick and comfy

This pair give great arch support while looking very elegant on any foot. They can easy handle any wet, sandy or dry environment. I bought a greater size and the fit is just perfect!

Really nice looking shoes

I am a huge fan of SOLE footbeds. I have plantar fasciitis and had constant foot pain before discovering SOLE. I really like these Lark shoes. It is hard to find dress shoes that accommodate a sole footbed so I am happy that SOLE has expanded to making shoes. These are nice looking shoes. I am a bit concerned about how the wool will stand up to mud or rain, but I plan to mostly wear them in my office so that should not be a concern.

Healthy footwear

I have a sesamoid fracture, capsulitis of the 2nd toe and neuroma. I needed a shoe with a met pad and overall support for the healing of my foot. These shoes make a huge difference in my ability to move. Inflammation in my foot changes all the time and this footwear adapts easily with the two adjustable Velcro straps along the top of the shoe. I have been wearing these shoes for a few months and I love the fabrics used on all my Soles! I love the simplicity..... no glitz, no tassels..... I wear SOLE for my health and soul.

Excellent support and cushion

Works well for support and foot pain. Unlike prescription orthotics it cushions the large foot joints with movement. It is very good for allowing motion but giving support to the whole body. I prescribe it frequently for patients with foot pain with good results. The sandals allow support but cushioning

So much comfort

They really help me with the pain that I was feeling in the middle of my foot. They give me so much support that I what to wear them all day. I highly recommand them!

Great Flip Flop

After a few months of wearing them, my two favorite things about this flip flop are the arch support and the flexibility that the footbed has. The foam helps the footbed to be less hard on my knees than the cork bed was with my last pair of flip flops. I also like that they are so lightweight and you can also get them wet and and they don't make squeaky noises. Although they don't give me as much support as a shoe (I have basically no arch to my foot), this is the best flip flop I've found in all my searching. Definitely five star for me.

Catalina sport flip

My physical therapist recommended the SOLE shoe inserts for my court shoes due to my planter fasciitis issue in both feet. I liked the fact that the product contoured to my footprint. It was at this time that my search for a sandal began. I don't like wearing closed toe shoes all summer. So I gambled and ordered my first pair of Catalina Flips and have never been disappointed. The arch support and heel cup support my feet. I am on my 8th pair. They are my go-to sandal . The support of SOLE products were my answer - I've been foot pain free for 8 yrs!!

Relieves foot pain

I rely on SOLE footbeds to prevent plantar fasciitis. They're better than custom made expensive orthotics. I don't wear shoes without them.

Heel pain GONE

I went to the foot doctor and couldn't afford the 400.00 customized insoles nor did I want the steroid shot to take away my severe heel and arch pain. I asked him about the SOLE insoles he had for sale in the office and he recommended them as well so I got them. Within two days my pain level went from an 8 to a 1. Total answer to prayer and haven't had to miss work. I highly recommend them. I work for Budweiser and my supervisor was babbling around today with heel pain. I gave him the link to this site and told him to stretch his calves. Thanks for offering such a wonderful product!

Amazing fit and support!

Just got the brown ones delivered. Man ... that brown has to go ... a bit too orange. HOWEVER ... as soon as I laced them up I couldn't believe how great they feel. The support is unbelievable, it's like wearing a great-fitting ice-skate. So I put a bit of Minwax on them to darken them up and ... boom ... a nice darker brown that'll go with all jeans and a wider range of casual pants. I suffer from planter fascia and metatarsalgia and so far these are, excuse the bad pun, footing the bill. I'll definitely be ordering others in the future. P.S. I had ordered plastic sandals from SOLE in the past and they immediately hurt my feet as soon as I put them on; back they went. I took a chance on the cork footbead this time as I'm getting desperate to find good fitting shoes. You won't be disappointed, plus they have great customer support with a good return policy. I know this may sound like an ad for SOLE, but if you're like me and can't find a good pair of comfortable shoes, you'd be very positive too.

Perfection!

I needed something to support my arches and correct my flat foot. These Performance Thins fit perfect into my slippers at home. Like absolutely 100% perfect. I go from the Active Wide Thicks in my steel toed boots all day to these Performance Thins at home. What a dream. Thank you for your very detailed descriptions on what style fits what shoe.

Worth every penny

I have always used some sort of arch support in my shoes. My chiropractor suggested Yoursole.com because of the super cool way your soles support the back of the heel and the arch way. Your description of using an Active Wide for a work boot was spot on. They fit my steel toed boots like a dream. Walking 10K steps a day in these is heaven. Thank you so much for turning my flat foot syndrome back to healthy arches.

Life Changing

I love running. I was unable to run for 2 years because I had plantar fasciatis. The combination of stretching the shit out of my calves, starting super slow and super short distances, icing, and wearing the active medium foot bed as just about cured my heel pain. I still have to manage it but I am running 4-5 miles couple times a week again. Go SOLE!

Mendocino slide upper hurt toes

My wife and I have a bunch of the footbeds which we really like, and I wanted to get something in a slide that had the same kind of support and quality. So I tried these Mendocino Slide Black in a Men's size 11, but the upper would dig into my toes when I would step forward on either foot. Maybe they would have broken in some over time, but it seemed unlikely that it would change that much and I didn't want to deal with the discomfort for however long that would have taken, so I returned them.

RESPONSE FROM SOLE:
Thank you for your honest review, Mark. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the Mendocino Sport Slides. We always appreciate feedback! Hope you continue enjoying SOLE Footbeds. Take care! The SOLE Team

decent insole for high arches

I'm a distance runner coming back from a foot injury, and my podiatrist suggested searching for orthotic inserts rather than paying $$$ for custom insoles to support my very high arches. I found SOLE insoles to offer a higher arch than others on the market, and I love that these are made with recycled cork. I've been slowly starting to run again after 12 weeks off due to injury, so I've only run in these 1-2miles at a time, 2-3x/week, for the past 5 weeks, though I've also used them in casual shoes for walking. So far I like them, but am not sure they're high enough for my arches. My legs/feet are quite sore by the end of a short run [a new feeling for me, I used to be a marathoner!] but I cannot blame the insoles, this could just be from my injury. I'm happy to see that SOLE Active footbeds are now available with Met Pads, I may have to try one with more cushion! I'm just waiting for the trifecta: active + wide + met pad!

comfort + support

I'm a distance runner coming back from a foot injury, and my podiatrist doesn't want me in non-supportive footwear [or barefoot] all summer! So any time I'm not running or sleeping, I've been LIVING in my Costa Flips, NON-STOP! [walking the dog, running errands, cooking/cleaning in the house] After 5 weeks of everyday use, I must say they are light, comfortable, and supportive. My only complaint is that the arches are not high enough for my super-high arches! There's still a gap, but they're a huge improvement over flat sandals/flip flops. I was afraid I'd be stuck in orthopedic shoes for the rest of my life, I was pleasantly surprised to find SOLE shoes are pretty cute and look forward to buying a closed-toe option this fall for the cooler weather.

Love my Flips!!

Love them. I have Morton's Neuroma in one foot & find the molded shape is just what I needed. They are very comfortable.

5 stars!

Great product! I have Achilles tendonitis so wearing flip flops seems impossible now without suffering from a great deal of pain afterward. My Chiropodist recommended I try a pair of sandals from SOLE and he was correct. These flip flops are amazing. I just recently wore them for 2 full days on a vacay that required a great deal of walking each day and I had zero pain afterward. I'm impressed. I also like that they look nice / sporty and don't look plain like a lot of other sandal brands that provide foot support. 5 stars for this product!

helped foot pain tremendously!

My husband has had foot pain forever. About 15 years ago, we discovered SOLE inserts and they have helped him tremendously! He uses a pair in all his shoes.

Great insrets

I recently had a flare up of my plantar fasciitis after spending about 6 hours walking around in the woods. After about 3 weeks of foot pain I finally made a appointment with my Podiatrist. Even though it was via video conference she highly recommended getting new insoles and suggested that I get the SOLE inserts. She said they are some of the best ones on the market. I did my research on them and was surprised that they were made from recycled corks. I went online and ordered a pair of the blue ones and upon ordering them realized I submitted the order twice contacted customer service the next day and he credited my account the shipping charges as the amount of 2 pair should of been free. I was so impressed with them once i put them in my work boots the pain was almost gone within 2 days. I keep up with my daily stretching and have not had any issues in my feet ever since I inserted my SOLE inserts. I will be spreading the word about great these inserts are and have actually taken them out of my shoes and shown people them. I'm sold on SOLE.

Foot Saver

My first pair was purchased to help eliminate plantar fasciitis in my right foot. It worked! My second pair was purchased so that I wouldn't have to transfer to other shoes. My third pair was purchased for trail runners and my forth pair for golf shoes. These can handle everything and they don't mind getting wet and staying that way all day. I tried other brands as well as other SOLE styles. These are my SOLE Mates!

Active Wide Thin for Rucking

I'm primarily a Rucker; as in I have a GORUCK Rucker (or two), filled with either 20 or 30 #'s of weight in it, and I head out for timed rucks (mostly); three, four times a week and sometimes more. I shoot for 15 minute miles. So, I try and boogie when I do. I've, also, had several knee surgeries; one of which was a high tibial osteotomy and the others were scopes. So, I enjoy any and as much effective cushioning, balance, and foot help while trying to get my daily recommended cardio in, and the SOLE insoles help me. As an aside, I really enjoy the boots that the above mentioned company makes; however, only for their Tough and Light events. So, I've found myself rotating between New Balance 1080v10's (size 4e's; because my foot is that wide), Atra Torins, and occasionally my new Inov8 TerraUltra's; each, respectively, has in them an ACTIVE WIDE THIN SOLE insole; however, one has a Medium Met Pad (Orange) SOLE Insole. The common thread with these sneakers are: they are have wide toe boxes, and the Active Wide Thin SOLES have really struck the balance of excellent form fitting for me! You see, I used to enjoy running, but no more, because I'm almost 50, it hurts, and really, who LOVES running anyway, and walking for health is great, but it's not as effective as the balance that Rucking offers me; the in-between of running and fast walking, all the while getting cardio!!! Why all the explaining... Well, it is because the above mentioned SOLES have really fit the bill for my situation and what I seek. They have minimized hot spots on my met pads, they allow my toes to splay in the toe boxes, of the above mentioned shoes, and they do so very well. In addition, they offer just the right amount of comfort for me on long rucks; I attribute this to their build; without them in place, the above shoes are actually too squishy when I ruck (carry) 30 pounds of weight or more. I also do a short 45 pound ruck roughly every two weeks (between 1.5 - 3 miles only), and use the SOLES in my Atra's when I do! I would not be able to do that without the SOLES in them, and would instead use my MACV1's. So, it is nice to have that option if I want. Moreover, if you are a rucker, or in a similar situation, and are looking to do miles and miles (think a STAR 50), I recommend the ACTIVE WIDE THIN SOLES; they have served me well for the past few months, and I will continue to buy these.

Comfort and style

Very happy to find these flips from the source in Canada as I've been wearing the brand for years and had difficulty finding them locally when needing to replace them. I live in these flips indoors and out all summer and in winter they serve as my indoor footwear. Before finding SOLE flips at my orthotics provider about 7 years ago I thought I would have to wear only closed shoes and orthotics to relieve my chronic sore feet and knees . However I found that SOLE Monterey flips support my arch and look good, and I have no pain at all. I really like the cork option which I currently have but also have enjoyed the all man made version of the same flip. They are hard-wearing and last for years. I always take a pair with me when I travel for hotels room foot wear, Highly recommended.

Great flip flops

I have really high arches and find it difficult to find a good sandal. These are great! They are very comfortable and have molded to the shape of my foot. I really love them and will definitely be purchasing other SOLE products.

nice fit

Love the color and the fit. Took a day to break in for a perfect fit - I have a high instep and flip flop tie straps seem to be tight at first. The shape / support of the foot bed work great for me. Wear all day and no knee/back tiredness. Well made and holding up well,

Quality of my new insoles

I am an avid walker and have used these insoles to help with the foot pain which was extreme. After using these insoles for over a year now I have almost eliminated the foot pain and make may walking journey much more manageable. I have recommended these exact insoles to a few of my walking buddies as well.

Nice and wide

I have been buying SOLE flips for years... they have great comfort, support and if you have wide feet, these Catalina Sport foot beds are what you need!! I can walk for hours and my feet feel great . If you haven't tried Sole you should, you won't regret the purchase...worth every penny! If you have any questions the sales reps will help you select the style for you.

Nice inserts!

They were recommended to me by a friend, after I complained of knee pain when running. Overall, they greatly improve my ability to run for longer than 20 minutes without pain. I recommend this product. I went with active medium - don't see a reason to chose another kind. It fits comfortably to the foot. Again, the reason I use these is to alleviate pain from the knees, when running.

Light and comfortable

I had foot surgery which implied a full reconstruction including ligaments and bones. I constantly use custom made insets in my shoes. I decided to try the men's Balboa Flips with the hope that they would allow me to use flip flops to stay comfortable at home and outdoors without the need if extra inserts. The have totally fulfilled my needs. The are very comfortable and fit perfectly to my foot arch. They are light and my foot has got used to them making them my preferred flips.

Comfort Plus

The insole is perfect for my needs, I put it immediately in my asics ( that I wear for work) I am a foot care nurse. I have high arches, right bunion and prominent metatarsal head where the bunion is. The ordering process went well and I would recommend SOLE for everyone to try. Very comfortable

love them

I bought the Laguna flip flop because i had foot issues. Walking 5 minutes in any other kind of flip flop style would instantly cause foot and knee pain. With the Laguna Flip I now can slip them on and go for a walk no worries. They look great too!

Amazing comfort

The footbed comfort is unmatched by any other flip-flop I've worn without adding weight that make other more expensive flip-flops difficult to wear for long periods of time. One word of caution is the break-in period. I was overzealous and went on a 5+ mile walk the first time out, a bit of a mistake as the straps wore down my feet pretty good. After a couple more shorter walks, they've broken in nicely and have been nothing but great, I can walk forever in these now without any discomfort or foot fatigue. The hearty SOLE (ha!) ensures a long lift time for these flip-flops.

Awesome

My daughter has a fused spine from L3-T3 and is on her feet all day. She had used SOLE in the past and went on to try other brands. She asked that I order her a pair of foot beds for her new shoes (cheap walmart non slips). New foot beds were inserted into her shoes and her back pain from standing all day has gone away. Strongly recommend these inserts.

Met Pads

They're great. They're a bit less rigid than most SOLE footbeds and that's especially good for the shoes I put them in, which have a fairly hard foot strike. Ever since I started using SOLE footbeds, I have not had plantar fasciitis.

Be different

These shoes are a great way to be comfortable with fashion in mind and have a different option than all the other ankle boots on the market. The sole is obviously super supportive. They fit a touch narrower than most SOLE products but I think they will actually mold to my foot perfectly.

men's exhale purchase

My feet have been painful for years and finally a doctor told me to try your insoles. They have been great and ever since I have been buying all types of shoes and sandals from SOLE. The Exhale shoes have the same support and comfort as their other products. The fit is good and the materials are also since I use them to work in so i would have foot support.

Work amazing

As a carpenter being on my feet all day, these insoles were the answer. No heal pain now and the insoles are very comfortable. Will be purchasing more for other foot ware.

1 Month review.

I have been using SOLE products for years, mainly the inserts. I am a soldier that regularly wears combat boots for long periods. I have used Han Wags, Lowes, SWATs, Solomon, and Salewa boots over the years. I was originally recommended SOLE as I had a bad case of plantar fascitis around ten years ago. I have not had any foot problems since. So I decided to purchase a pair of shoes that I could use when not in combat boots. Its been about a month, mainly using them due to the recent COVID restrictions, and they have been performing flawlessly. Just as the insoles in my boots, they fit well, despite my right foot is slightly wider than my left. The shoes required no break-in period, and I walked 5 km when I first received them just to feel for any pinch points or friction areas. And none were found. The material is a breathable mesh which has been perfect for the warmer days. The laces are secure and have not come undone unnecessarily. The shoes come with a pair of white laces as well (not my style). Bonus - the wife thinks they look great on me, and I have received compliments from others. (Secretly, I think my wife is tired of me being in boots all the time). The verdict - Buy a pair, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect

Makes my work shoes feel like sneakers. Always impressive foot beds!

Fabulous for plantar fasciitis and everyday comfort

I bought 2 pairs of SOLE flips and they did, indeed, cure my plantar fasciitis. They prevented my foot from ever extending fully, when you get out of bed and step directly on the floor, which causes the sharp pain as the tissues that have started healing in the night get torn again and again. I put a waterproof pair right beside my bed, that I slipped into without ever having my feet touch the floor in the morning. I wore them right into the shower; again my feet never touched the floor. Then I transferred to a cork flip after that for the rest of the day at home. After 3 months my plantar fasciitis was gone! I continue to wear Sole flips, indoors every day and don't ever go barefoot anymore. After 10 years, my plantar fasciitis has not returned.

Love my new shoes.

I have been wearing these shoes for about a month now. They are my favorite shoes to wear day to day. The foot bed has formed perfectly to my feet and they feel as if they are custom to my feet. I do find them to be warm on my feet during hot days however they do breathe well and therefore are great. The fit is slightly small, so maybe order a half size up.

Can't go wrong!

My family has been a long time purchaser of SOLE sandals, when you need support, but want to wear a sandal, they are the only way to go. These were purchased for my aunt whom had to have her foot fused. It took some convincing, because she was sure she would never be able to wear sandals again. Now, she wishes she would have had them sooner. They provider exactly the support she needs, but she also loves that she can adjust them to fit each foot. As her fused foot is much larger. They are true to size and are so comfortable, she can spend more time on her feet without paying for it. I've since purchased 2 additional pairs, so that she can wear one inside, one outside, and have a back up pair...that's how good they are!!

Best yet!

Been wearing these two months and my severe heel pain has gone away & so have the previous expensive insole I was directed towards! They worked until my feet needed to heal...the foot doc said he used the SOLE Products personally to give his feet a break...He Was right!

Great product for golf

I started to use SOLE foot beds on the recommendation of my doctor for treatment of planter fasciitis. I use the performance thin foot beds in my golf shoes and they work great. Very glad I acted on my doctors advice!

Lovin the comfort!!

I have been wearing SOLE slippers and inserts for a few years now. I had plantar fascia tears in my left foot from running My podiatrist recommended that I wear supportive slippers and SOLE inserts in my shoes. They have made a big difference in the health of my feet. I love their products!!

Worth every penny

Take it from someone who has been wearing custom orthotics for 30 years, best flip flops ever. They easily form to your foot, are very comfortable, and durable. Full marks!

A classic flip flop

I bought these flip flops for my partner to use around the yard and at the beach. They are comfotable and conform to your foot.

Forever satisfied

This is my third pair of SOLE inserts. They have become an essential part of my proactive plan to relieve back pain that originates from not having good foot support. They are lightweight, fit easily into my shoes, and are very comfortable. I will continue to trust and use this brand.

Wife Love's the Balboa Flip Flop

I bought the Balboa Flips, a few weeks ago, for my wife to replace some older Sole flip flops. My wife loves them even more than her old ones. These are her new favorites out of 3-4 pair. She loves how well they fit her foot and the cushion they provide. She is able to wear them all day standing on her feet without any foot tiredness or pain As always the service provided by SOLE is wonderful!

Knee problems solved

I owe a lot of respect to SOLE company. For some unknown reason I started having ankle pain on my right foot a few months ago. I was referred to a foot doctor, the same that had seen me during my childhood during 12 years and that fixed my problem having feet looking inwards. This time, the foot doctor made me those super technological orthodics that cost $400+. After 5 adjustments trying to improve them, because I was starting to feel a very painful pinching sensation in my inner knees (somewhere I NEVER had any problem before in my entire life), I came across SOLE footbed in a outdoors sale. I bought it thinking I had nothing to lose. I was pretty desperate at this point, nothing was doing it. My knees were in pain if I wore the foot orthodics or not, and the best solution was just not to walk at all : not an option at 32 years old! So I started using the SOLE footbeds, and all of a sudden, my knee pain disappeared! It was, and it still is, honestly so marvellous. I never told the Podiatrist I stopped using my custom orthodic, but now I got SOLE footbeds and my doctor was pretty happy I found my solution, so he wrote down the company name and went on recommending his patients the footbed. SOLE, you saved my knees! Thanks a lot!

Great Flip

Lightweight, well-made, and comfortable with excellent support. Great casual flip for the lake or beach. Good for travel. I have a wider forefoot and appreciate that the design allows for plenty of room for the ball-of-foot and toes. I've also always received excellent customer service from SOLE. Definitely recommend and would purchase again.

Wonderful

I have flat feet and these sandals help with arch support. I have right foot pain due to this condition and I can wear these sandals all day and have no pain. I also like to use them as house slippers as it is uncomfortable for me to go barefoot. I love the fit and material of this sandal makes it very comfortable. This is my first pair but I will be purchasing them again as needed.

The only flip flops I purchase!

After a season of painful plantar fasciitis, I purchased the SOLE product. Now these are the only ones I buy and have numerous pairs for around the house, garden, overnight bag, etc. Great product with the relaxed look of a flip flop but with a supportive foot bed.

IN LOVE!

I love my SOLE Catalina flips! I got my first pair 6 years ago and LOVED them! I wore them out just this year - they lasted sooo long - so this year I ordered a new pair and love them just as much! In fact, I really appreciate the footbed - it's different, but they stay on my feet much better! SOLE flips do take a week or so to wear in, but once you do, they are the BEST flips ever!! I love mine and was worried at first that they were too small, but after about a week they fit like a glove. I buy SOLE because of the metatarsal support on the footbed - I had surgery on one foot and have had trouble with my toes falling asleep when I wear shoes. As long as a I have metatarsal support, my toes don't fall asleep - and of all the flips I've tried, SOLE are my favorite. THANKS!!!

Super Comfortable and Durable

So far I am very pleased with the Balboa. I wear the pretty much daily these days and have found them very comfortable. The break in period was quick. The outsole is holding up surprisingly well considering how soft it is. The supportive footbed fits the foot well and prevents that "flip flop" sound when walking. I have been wearing SOLE flip flops for many years and the Balboa is a very nice cost sensitive version of their footwear.

Most Comfortable Flip Flops EVER

I am so happy that I found these shoes they've helped me tremendously with my foot pain from chronic pain from neuropathy. These are the only flip-flops that I can wear, they are like heaven on my feet. Such a great product very well-built I even wore them walking in the river. They have a customer for life I have these in three different colours! Thank you SOLE!!

Almost perfect fit out of the box

I discovered SOLE footbeds a few years ago. I injured myself just before a hiking trip in American SouthWest and needed some extra foot support so that I could keep to the trip's aggressive hiking schedule. Shoe guy at REI recommended SOLE thick corkbeds and I have been a fan ever since. The District Recork Tour looked interesting and they were on sale. I am upgrading my look after losing a lot of weight and these appeared stylish and I know the comfort of the SOLE footbeds, so I purchased. Out of the box, it took a few minutes for the beds to adjust to my feet, but then they were perfect. Like my hiking companions on that trip, they provide comfort, support, and fun. I bought the black leather, but plan on ordering the brown leather as well. Now I have only been wearing these for a few hours around the house, but I like them almost as much as my Cushe slip ons that I normally wear. They just feel like a part of me. Great shoe!

Rugged foot wear forThe beach

Beach sandals not the floppy foam ones! SOLE Beach Flip flops are super comfortable and stable on the sand and uneven ground once broken in the foot bed is not slippery in the water and walking distance is easy as they form your foot . I wear them around the yard there light and make your feet feel good

Great Support for Severe Feet

I have one foot that has severe over-pronation, post surgery these SOLE Mateo slides provide excellent support and comfort. Both feet, appreciate the support and cushion. I was unsure on the slide concept vs a flip, but after having them for a while I have a difficult time remembering what my apprehension was all about.

feet reprieve

This my forth set of SOLE insoles and the first time with the Work style. I have foot problems and was half time on a cane. These insoles have let me set that aside and do most of a day on my feet. The fit is perfect and they seem to holding up quite well through several months now of wear. Next I will try a light pair for dress shoes and see if dancing is again a possibility.

Great support for chronic pain

I live with chronic joint pain throughout my body. Theses are the best flip flops I have ever had. I've had other orthopedic cork sandals before but nothing compares to Sole for foot support and durability. I bought my first pair of SOLE on recommendation from my physio therapist. They lasted me years. I'm sure this second pair will last just as long. I highly recommend these for anyone dealing with chronic pain. Good alignment starts in your feet.

Nothing but...

SOLE has always been my go to foot insoles, for health and comfort.

Comfortable and stable footwear

I have been wearing SOLE cork flip flops for two months, They are very comfortable and help with foot pain after a long workday. The materials a tough and take a bit of a break in period but once they are broken in I want to wear them 24/7. Great summer shoe , even around the house anytime

Excellent Quality

I started using this companies inserts 4-5 years back while in the Royal Canadian Navy. My foot pain brought on by poor arch and heal support while wearing sea boots and combat boots transversing steal decks, hard cement and pavement during my daily work routine. The pain became severe. I was eventually issued a set of SOLE inserts. The inserts definitely increased my quality of life. I eventually equipped all my footwear, civilian and military, with this companies inserts. The quality of the inserts are superb with excellent arch support and heal support with the cupping action at the heal. I swear by this company. Now that's myself. My wife has been suffering from foot pain as well for years, and kept buying cheap inserts. I ordered her a set of these inserts, we moulded them to her feet. She tells me that they have made a massive difference due to the support provided. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. they do last quite a long time. Ive sanitized them and they come out nice and clean.

Perfect for Joint Pain of all Types

I have been using SOLE insoles for almost 20 years. They're comfortable, affordable, and they prevent ankle pain, tendonitis, and now that I'm older, all kinds of other joint pain. Thus, when I purchased another pair for myself, I also purchased a couple of pairs for my husband. He has been complaining of foot pain from bunions and knee pain. He works in HVAC so he is on his feet all day at work. He also lifts weights for multiple hours a day. Since he started using the insoles, he isn't complaining about his bunions anymore. He says they are comfortable, and they have definitely helped with his pain.

Best Insoles on the Market

A physical therapist recommended SOLE to me about 20 years ago. I had repeat ankle sprains and tendonitis in my Achilles tendon. Some of that was due to sports injuries, but I also have high arches. I needed better foot support. I was also an undergraduate student, so I had very little money. Thankfully, the student health center sold SOLE insoles. I have been using them ever since. If you have any type of joint pain, including back pain, you need these insoles. Since I have multiple pairs of insoles, they tend to last me for about five years. The benefits far outweigh the costs of SOLE products.

Excellent

I recently replaced some custom inserts with these insoles and have been very pleased with their performance. I have more space in my shoes and have been able to keep my foot pain from my neuroma at bay. I purchased a pair of these at a ski shop as well and use them in my boots and continue to have plenty of room and increased comfort on the slopes. I appreciate the environmental concern of the company as well, which makes me happy to support them.

Awesome inserts

These have replaced custom-made inserts and they work even better. These are the only inserts that work for me. I have had foot issues for years (prior to wearing these inserts) and have been to podiatrists. This is a lot less expensive than doing all that. These inserts are the obvious choice.

The best insoles - keep my feet healthy

I have SOLE insoles in my performance ski boots and most of my shoes. They keep my feet supported and shape to my feet very well. When I started to experience some foot pain with accompanying plantar fasciitis I tried SOLE insoles and my pain gradually faded away after a few weeks of stretching and consistent use of my active and performance medium footbeds. I love them! Thanks a lot SOLE. R. Gibson Portland, Oregon

The Best. Period.

I live in Flips. Have for years and years. Before I found SOLE Flips, I could get about a year out of a "quality" pair from a long list of manufacturers. they might feel comfortable for the first month or 2 but then they break down and eventually look so terrible that my wife throws them away. Ones that stand up to daily wear, well they feel like I'm wearing plywood on my feet. I can't walk for hours in them like I can in my SOLE Flips. My wife and I travel a lot and we always go for long walks wherever we are. unless we are trail hiking, we go out in our SOLE flips. Miles and miles of walking and we get home, comfortable and with zero foot fatigue! The quality of the SOLE flips are fantastic. I am rough on most things and my flips are not excluded. I routinely have to wash my outside flips because, well, I have gone places in them that aren't exactly clean! They wash up easily and look new again. these flips can take the day in day out abuse that my life hands them, no problem. In fact the only reason I have had to buy new ones is not from wear or discomfort issues, they simply have become stained from wear and I want a new pair so they look respectable. I have 2 pairs of SOLE sport flips for daily wear, one for inside and one for outside. I have now owned 5 pairs and my wife has 2. I am 6'5" tall and weigh 235 pounds and my flips last me at least 2-3 years. GREAT value when you consider how much I wear them. My wife still owns (and wears daily) her original pair she bought 5 years ago! (she weighs a lot less than me!) If you are considering buying your first pair and are concerned about price, DON'T BE! These flips will outlast anything you have ever owned before and provide miles of comfort for years. As the old saying goes "the sweetness of low price is long forgotten while the bitterness of low quality lives on and on" Thanks SOLE for believing in high quality standards in your design and materials and construction. Keep up the great work! I'm a customer for life!

Best sandals in the world

Best sandals you can find. Supports the foot perfectly. Hubby had one pair that gave out after 10 years. Now we bought two pairs for him. One pair for outside and one pair as indoor slippers. He can't live without his SOLE. I bought a pair as well and love them. I wear size 10 in shoes and size 11 in my SOLE fits perfectly. Hubby wears size 13 in shoes and his size 13 Soles fits well. Yes, we have big feet... The cork SOLE gives the cushion we need when walking on hard floors and roads. Super comfortable sandals. We walked all over Portugal for one month in our SOLEs.

Men’s repel

I have been wearing this shoe for about three months and love them. Very comfortable, great supportive foot bed. Easy to put on and the fit is true. Have purchased two pair!

BEST FLIPS EVER!!!!!!

I love my Costa flips! They're the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. The support is amazing. As someone who is constantly on my feet running around these have helped my knees and back get back to normal where I don't need to see the Chiro as much. I had a figure skating injury when I was 15 to my lower back so I'm always in pain. The fit is great, the way it hugs my foot Is just right and love the mulberry color as it's my fave. I bought one pair and had to go back for 3 more!

Catalina Sport Flips

I have been wearing these flips for 10 years. I own 7 pairs, and have just ordered a pair of the Baja flips. I have a large bunion on my left foot so very limited what footwear I can wear. These flips are the most comfortable shoes of any kind I have ever worn. I can walk all day with no foot pain. I love my SOLE flips!

Softec Ultras are the BEST!

I have used Softec Ultras for years. The first thing I do with new running shoes is replace the insoles with the Ultras. The Ultras themselves have lasted for years and they help add miles to my running shoes. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and the Ultras changed my running life for the better by providing stability, support, comfort and preventing "hotspots". Love the simple heat and wear molding for fit; subtle, but makes a difference! Thank you SOLE people - keep up the good work! :-)

Longtime use

I have been using SOLE footbeds for almost as long as they have been in business, I believe. I had chronic Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis. I had 2 prior foot surgeries for neuromas. I was on my feet all the time as a pediatrician and was miserable with pain especially in the morning and was limping at work. I was referred to an orthopedist who specialized in foot care. He referred me to an orthotics store where I was introduced to and purchased my first SOLE footbeds. I have used them for possibly 18 years now. I had tried custom orthotics prior which were too uncomfortable to wear. I discovered the SOLE website many years ago and buy as needed. I only have foot pain if I wear shoes without the footbeds. I walk my 10,000 steps per day and ballroom dance. I have recommended SOLE footbeds to friends and even to parents of my patients.

Arch support

About three years ago, I bought a new pair of walking shoes and SOLE insoles to give me the rigid arch support my podiatrist told me I needed to get rid of chronic foot pain. The pain stopped immediately, and wearing them every day, I continue to be pain-free.

Love!

I bought these sandals after researching summer footwear for planter fasciitis. I was hesitant and thought I'd be spending my summer in my running shoes and custom orthodics, but these sandals are AMAZING! No foot pain at all. I haven't wore them outside yet, not until I can get another pair so I can have one for inside and one for outside. They fit true to size!

Great product

Well a few weeks in, and I can't be happier with the purchase of these flip flops. I had some minor knee issues, and since I have been wearing these I have not felt that pain in my knee when I walk. So far I could not be happier with the SOLE brand, and plan to soon try some insoles. The fit is good, I am usually a size 8.5 went down to an 8 for these, the fit is perfect for the foot.

My Search is Over!

Finally. A slim designed flip flop, or 'slippa', that is very comfortable, offers support and hugs the foot. I've been wearing flip flops for decades and have become increasingly disappointed with the direction that flip flops were heading. In a quest to make flip flops more comfortable, manufacturers were pumping out flip flops that were either thick cheap foam, or had air soles, that ended up looking like a flip flop/hiking boot hybrid. They end up looking ridiculous and rarely sat square on the foot. I've always preferred a slimmer flip flop and these fit the bill perfectly. They are firm and thin, but with the arch support and contoured foot bed, they are very comfortable. They have become my new go-to flip flops!

We love these

Both my husband and I have been wearing these for 6 months and love them. I was sufffering from plantar fasciitis and Morton's Neuroma and he has needed custom orthotics for years for foot pain. We both find the insoles comfortable, reduce pain and are light weight and easy to transfer between shoes. These are an economical way to get relief!

great footwear.

Excellent shoe! I bought multiple pairs. Very comfortable, looks good and supportive. I use them at my work in recreation therapy all day walking around at an acute hospital rehab. I have high arches, narrow small feet size 9 for a 6 foot
