WHAT IS IT?
We developed Softec cushioning as a truly superior cushioning material for select models of our award-winning insoles. This chart shows how Softec matches up against other cushioning materials. Our Softec cushioning has the best compression set rating, meaning that it springs back to its original shape better and more quickly than any other material tested. Softec has a shock absorption rating that is equal to the industry standard cushioning material and it is shown to be stronger and have a higher stretch resistance. This means that Softec stretches more without damage when force is applied, showing that Softec cushioning is both strong and flexible. Softec is the only type of cushioning we use in our footbeds because your feet deserve the best insoles.

Met pad support
SOLE now offers footbeds with a built-in metatarsal pad. This is an added element of forefoot support that sits under the transverse arch, the arch behind the ball of the foot that runs across the width of the foot. It lifts and separates toes, putting them back into their natural resting position, to relieve pressure and pain in the area that can be caused by issues such as Morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia. This added support also increases circulation and reduces discomfort caused by ill-fitting footwear.
